Well I don't think many get the gist of what's at the core of this matter. The point is Oyedepo was miffed not so much because of "indiscipline" but that some students had the audacity to rock his "Ceaser has spoken; legions must march" boat. Recap the incident and you'd get the picture of what's at play here. Oyedepo expected to arrive at the place to the cheer of of doting students; doesn't matter whether the students ran the gauntlet to be there. The man arrives and didn't see saluting, doting legions and that irked him to bits.

This brings back "fond" memories.Those of us who attended missionary schools in Eastern Nigeria (before government did a 419 on them and took over schools) know the drill. The school gets a letter that the Bishop in charge of the area, who at the time was third or 4th in rank to God (God/Pope/Cardinal/Bishop) was coming to town and the school and suddenly "hell" breaks loose. Your parents better cough up the money to get you as clean as it could get uniform. Students, big and school would fetch palm fronds that's used to make roadside "canopies" (in the nature of Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem) sometimes a mile or two to the school. Saying fetching palm fronds doesn't convey the picture if you understand palm fronds do have prickly spikes. By the time you have done fetching few you're sure to have a bunch of bleeding spots.

Then the school is scrubbed to every square inch and lawns are cut, pedicured and manicured to the point the school looked like a horticultural showpiece. Then come the day, and we'd all assemble in the cleanest uniform and stand in the sun for hours... and the bishop drives in wearing his immaculate, finest, priestly robe. We'd cheer and wave palm fronds and sing as the Bishop (my reasoning) pats himself on the back for a job well done - for managing to create a bunch of zombies who'd go to the extent we did to put up a show for the sake of putting up a show. That's if you consider that many of the kids who were jumping and singing for the bishop were really close to dropping dead from biting hunger... yet we had to go through the out of this world motions else our teachers and us the disposables are doomed.

To me, I think that's the facade Oyedepo wanted to see but didn't get and that irked him. Why didn't the students understand that Oyedepo is atop the food chain while they (the students) were at the bottom of the pile and that Oyedepo has gotten accustomed to being treated like God where ever he goes and thus in (the students) not going through the regimented motions amounted to a snub on the great Oyedepo. It's a little ludicrous that I am ending on a sarcastic note but I am trying to say these men of God, like the bishops in my school days, love adulation to the point a devil would get high marks if only that devil would give them the honor and willy "respect" they craze. Discipline is not the point of contention here.

I didn't claim the first life form came from nothing. I said nothing simpler but energy. Energy is something and all there is. In the proper sense of the word there's no such thing as nothing. But energy is what we claim to be everything, something and nothing.

Well there are some christians who claim they don't depend on science at all. That doesn't mean all christianity denies science. Atheism does not have anything to do with faith or the lack of it. Everyone has to put their faith or belief in something. We just don't put it in God.
I can't deny that religion has some certain powers that can be used to imprison or free an individual and the people that compiled religious books most likely infused it with 4th dimensional powers however its methods are plain madness.
The method of science. The aim of religion is more like it.

Though we can't ignore scientist work they really tried and i also believe in them but to some extend. Bible say something about them in Ecclesiastes 8:17, says ''Then i beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man (scientist) think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.'' this word came before civilization (in stone age). We can see it today scientist are just trying their best but they can't know it all.

I gave it another try and to be thorough about it I went to foursquare gospel camp to be with other people. Once again I went clear headed and these were my observations. At first everything was just funny with women rolling on the floor and throwing themselves about and men pulling out invisible pig spirits from people's bodies and so on. When I got prayed for by the laying on of hands I expected some kind of force to overtake me so that I would start rolling on the floor too but the only force I felt was the pastor pushing my head and trying to make me fall.
Eventually when the prayer was over 2 hours, it stopped being funny and was just outright annoying.
Eventually this woman who was twisting here and there started twisting near me and I was just hoping She doesn't bump into me in my angry state because I wasn't ready to start avoiding people who are under some influence.
The woman eventually bumped into me hard which caused me to slap her and push her away. Immediately that happened, the influence of the spirit upon her stopped and she wanted to fight with me. People held her and I eventually went my way. This led me to one conclusion. Christians are crazy people

I really don't understand what you are arguing about. You asked for an explanation for miracles and I gave you one. You claim its magic which is about money only so it doesn't count and I pointed out that the miracle workers also make money from their stunts. What exactly are you saying? Criss Angel makes money from selling television rights and merchandises rather than asking people to pay because God said of they do, He will pay them back. Please
