PDP influences what?
Who are the majority?
If the minorities are the one controlling the NASS, then
Apc don't know what they are doing.
Saraki works for the PDP. That is plain. We all know how he snatched power. The NASS is steered by the PDP.

When in clear terms he just said it. Please, if l may ask, what did he say in summary?
He only observed that we pay less than some other countries and that the same 5% could be extended to other untaxed sections. Nobody has suggested an increase in the rate.

VAT is not something that can change on a simple press briefing. You know that.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Rejects N’assembly’s Peace Deal On Budget - Punch by AfroKnight: 8:27am On Apr 11, 2016
Let us be fair.

WHO INSTALLED THE PRESENT LEADERSHIP OFTHE SENATE? PDP OF COURSE. and you wonder why things are not working out?

When Saraki snatched the position like a Yahoo boy, you PDP criminals supported and hailed him. Now that PDP influences everything in the National Assembly we can see confusion everywhere.

People like you are the reasons why some of you are called the Zombies. What's is he saying, if not asking the FG to increase VAT in austerity.
Why would you assume? Has he said it in unambiguous terms? Let a man die before you bury him.

Excuse me u just picked a line or 2 to argue on did u read the rest of what I put up?
Anyway Im not here to condemn theprivate unis
They are doing well big ups to them but you wont convince me that the standard of education is better
Sorry if I came out too strong. I just wanted to point out that they certainly provide better infrastructure and so their fees are justified.

It's not capped at 3gig, once u hit 3gig in a day, the speed reduces. u would still be able to download but at a reduced speed.
The speed is reduced to 512 bps.

Bro, what can you download at 512bps? Bps o, not Kbps. Bro that is effectively a data cap. These NTEL guys are not smiling with us.

But thats not why they are the best
Actually, that is why they are among the best. The institutions pay their staff very well and so they can demand top-notch service. Also, the learning conditions in those schools are conducive. Infrastructure has been provided.

I graduated from a public university here in Naija and was among the top in my faculty so I think I can presume to evaluate graduates from other universities.

I have met and worked (in and outside my discipline) with several private uni graduates (especially CU) and I must confess, they are worth their salt. I believe there are some underperforming graduates among them just like every other university. However, among private universities, CU has proved their worth. Their design/engineering/I.T graduates perform well in the labour market.

I still subscribe to public universities though, because of the broader exposure, but private schools are certainly not as terrible as many paint them.
EducationRe: Reason For High Fees And Turnout Of First Class Graduates In Private Unis. by AfroKnight: 7:09am On Apr 11, 2016
Babzilla:
Hahahhaha.. electricity money and infrastructure thats the reason for the high first class turnouts... please.
In spite of the huge turn outs of first class students ask yourselves this. Why has none of the private schools made the best universities in World if the quality of education is as you argue it is.
Also remember many of the lecturers were pulled form the public schools which would mean its still the same quality of edication you get from the public schools with less stress of course
Lastly in spite of all the bragging on the quality of education in the private schools Im still yet to hear of any remarkable breakthrough in the field of research, science or technology achieved by any product of these schools.
Just saying
I hope you know that Harvard, Princeton, Yale (in fact, all Ivy League schools), Stanford, MIT and other top institutions are private universities. Plus, their fees are very very high. That's why most students apply for grants or scholarships - even rich kids.

Layman Analysis + Conclusion

N9,000 = Unlimited Data + 300 Minutes of Calls to All Network.

Average Charge of MTN Glo or Airtel= 15k/s

300 X 60 X 15k = N2700 for Call

Balance (9000 - 2700) = 6300 for Data.

Summary: From the above calculation, its a good option for HEAVY INTERNET USER / HEAVY DOWNLOADERS even when the speed is throttle after daily 3GB but for normal users its a BIG NO. keep rocking Glo BIS on Android.
Plus we are not sure of their speed. That 3GB daily data cap is uncomfortable.

Actually, the plan is not really unlimited. It is capped at 90GB per month. (i.e 3GB x 30 days)

I call it data cap cos when the speed is reduced to 512bps, you are effectively cut off. Not sure if one can even open google.com with that speed. grin
RomanceRe: Enough Of This Feminism And Homosexuality Nonsense by AfroKnight: 12:54am On Apr 11, 2016
Good one bro. Women are equal to men already. We don't perform the same roles but we balance each other. Women even enjoy unmerited favours from men just because of their gender. Feminists are just noisemakers who actually cannot handle what they call equality.

As for the homosexuality issue, it is just a preference. Those that engage in it are not helplessly doing so. They should not champion their cause on that false premise of being born gay. It is simply a lie.

RomanceRe: Gradually Loosing My Girlfriend by AfroKnight: 12:27am On Apr 11, 2016
Bro, most naija girls only date for money. Most wives married because the man spent a lot on them. Many women are enduring beating and emotional abuse because the man has good money and is a spender.

Bro, it's all about the money. My romantic life became a lot easier when I stopped hoping women would look past all my gifts, treats and money and see the gentleman in me. No girl wants to "carry last" when others are showing off gifts and trips they enjoy courtesy of their boyfriends. Once you treat them like princesses, they will behave well.

If you don't have the dough cos of your present employment situation, don't let her frustrate you. Just remain calm. If she wan waka comot, nor beg am.

One more thing. DON'T BORROW MONEY TO PLEASE A BABE. Spend only what you can spare.

Op said she sent him Facebook message. But she had already blocked him before. Ok, so if she unblocked you, then she was very well aware of what transpired in the past. Therefore, there was no need for her to be surprised and "keep mute" and even apologize after "scrolling up". Oga your story get k-leg.

Hmmmm slavery contract..... This must be the show. If so, then the contract is not too bad.

This is just a reality TV show for people looking for fame. The highest profit the producers can make from this in future will come only when they do throw back episodes of the time a future star appeared as a rookie on their show or something. I think the contract also protected them from paying royalty though. Still twisted.

Musicians should stop having sex without proper protection. You boys are lucky that the girls only gave you babies. What if they gave you HIV?

As a successful musician, you must draw a line. No risky sexual behavior. Girls will chase you but you must not give in to them.

I beg to differ, there's no such thing as omo-onle in Rivers,if there is,they don't charge that much.
Don't argue about what you don't know. I said they have their own omonile. "Omonile" is a Yourba word meaning "indigenous landowners". They may have their own native term for it. Their natives are worse than lagos omonile. Especially Rivers. That's a fact. If you doubt me, ask any stranger who bought land and built in the state. Or better still, ask any civil engineer who travelled to work on a site in Rivers.
