irunooboo:No mind them. They think they can deceive Nigerians. Imagine, a former governor, a statesman's burial shrouded in secrecy! We know they are lying. A man who stole money and escaped from the clutches of the UK police like a criminal; he came home and his people celebrated him. Imagine! They said he is their son and he stole their money so we should leave him alone cos it's no business of ours. Primitive clannishness. |
princemillla:Investment must not waste na. After Saraki don sort finish, baba wan escape with 2 billion just like that. No way. |
Former NSA, The Late Gen. Azazi said Boko Haram is a product of PDP politicking. It appears funding is low now that your people have been kicked out of power. There should be no amnesty for these terrorists. They have burned that bridge long ago. |
Big4wig:Don't mind the guy. She had no right to say such rubbish when you refused. She wanted a favour and you turned her down simple. People get turned down everyday. Why did she make it such a big deal because she didn't have her way? Don't be bothered jor. |
Be thankful that you have not met ladies who don't give a damn about your poetry and flowery high praise. Ladies differ. It seems the more mature they get, the less impressed they are by your empty sweet words. If you want to show such ladies real love, you have to make moves. Like they say, action speaks louder than words. Even with that you may not dazzle them; maybe just distract them for a spell. Then again, the funny thing is, you may say only a quarter of these words to another lady and she'd blossom with love for you. |
We all know it's one of those PDP thieves. Good move. |
I wonder why I feel little pity for the policemen and their families. Maybe it's because of the unjust pain people suffer in the hands of policemen. Policemen are known to collect bribes forcefully with a number of fatalities among those who refuse to pay. Many have been wrongly imprisoned or placed on death row because officers collected bribes to exchange criminals with unfortunate young men on the street. If 11 men who are members of our wicked and heartless police are out of the picture, well, should we weep for them? |
When you cheat your way through primary and secondary schools, what else would you know? Nowadays, parents shamelessly do their children's homework and challenge/insult teachers when their kids fail exams. How would your grown child not struggle with basic things that any 10 year old should have overcome? Well, he must have been taught by people who cheated through school themselves. You can give only what you have. You teach what you know. English is the only official language in Nigeria. If you have gone through secondary school and cannot communicate in English then something is wrong. |
This is why we remain a third world country. Why are Nigerians so myopic? He asked a simple question and the responses given here are just ridiculous. Who determined the outrageous remuneration received by these ungodly senators and reps? Young fools will not question that but throw their lives away in Rivers state defending people who use them like rags. Think for the future. If you think you would support corruption today so that you can eat the crumbs offered by these politicians, what about your children? Will they still struggle through corruption or Will they enjoy a government that makes life and livelihood easy for them? Today, if a group of young people raise placards to protest the obscene largess shared in the national assembly, tomorrow you'd find a more formidable group of young thugs prancing around abuja supporting the status quo. Misguided people. We are too greedy for what we would eat today. |
PDP has been leading since day one. They installed Saraki and edited the standing rules to fix their man (Ekweremadu) there. Then they voted in a first time senator (Akpabio) as minority leader. We have been dealing with PDP at the helms. Nothing new. This blackmail is dead on arrival. |
The photographer said they signed a contract to the effect. Well, that will settle everything. Nigerians don't respect intellectual property. |
Lol. another legacy of the hero. |
Should we then hold Jonathan for the loss of lives in Ekiti two years ago and for the violence and loss of lives across Nigeria and particularly Rivers state last year? Fayose is a comedian. I am very glad he is not my governor. |
How is this exquisite? Nigerian bloggers and mediocrity. Someone of Timaya's stature should have a better design than this. He is in show biz. Make e represent na. |
Now, this is an examination. Examination is meant to test your knowledge and your ability solve problems. |
People, be reasonable. We all saw the level of violence across Rivers state. How can anyone go ahead to declare a winner with so many cases of violence against electoral officers and snatching of ballot boxes? People from Rivers state are allowing themselves to be political fodder. It is sad that young people will be threatening murder as if life is so cheap. A governor promised violence and you helped him carry it out forgetting that you are the sacrificial goat. Too many extremists in Rivers. |
I wonder why some ladies are quick to attack any guy who points out the holes in the woman's story. There is a chance that she is lying. She said her daughter is in JSS 2. Interestingly, this man is a biology teacher (Senior class). Yet she said her daughter goes to the lab with her friends. What business does a junior school student have with the lab? My thought on this matter is, the reputation of this man has brought this upon him. We all had those male teachers who liked and favoured pretty girls in secondary school. Honestly, I would have been easy for any of them to be framed based on that impression. An accuser is not necessarily telling the truth just because she's a mother. |
octopusfreaky:It is because you still believe "stolen water is sweet". It is not a curse, it's just your repeated decision. When you are presented with the opportunity to grow an affair outside your relationship, you don't restrain yourself. By now, I'm sure you have realized like many others, that the imagination/anticipation of an affair is often sweeter than the act itself. If you want to stop, you need to build the value you perceive in your man. We know that there is always someone better out there but how long will you pursue your whims? If you marry the sexiest and most attractive man on earth today, tomorrow, you'd find someone better. Will you jump ship again? No, it shouldn't be so. |
It's ladies like this who would wait for their husbands to come back from work and pay mundane bills else such bills will remain unpaid. May God help the children of such women. No candy, panties, or toys unless daddy "brings money" even if daddy is offshore for 2 weeks. May we marry reasonable wives who understand that "two shall put ten thousand to flight". |
Be specific and stop seeking to gross people out.
|
amokeme:My dear, you have said it all. I wish I could like your post 100 times. Ladies, only rich men can afford to marry wives who contribute nothing. We know that there are few rich men who are single, compared to the hordes of ladies who desire such husbands. I am a proud man and I am certain I would rather prefer to borrow money from my brother than ask my wife for help if it gets that bad. But really, how can a man be happily married to a woman who cannot even contribute her resources once in a long while? What man would be happy with a wife that is a fairweather friend? Ladies, I hope you understand why some men "suddenly" dump you for someone whom you think is not up to your "level"; someone "below" you. Once a man sees an asset, he recognizes her and would forsake his liabilities (ladies who are beautiful and sexy for nothing) just to be with her. A pity that many girls are raised to be pieces of furniture in their marital homes. Don't grow up to be a booty call. Let you husband be proud of you. |
That's not entirely correct. The reason for violence is power; control and immunity. The ability to control territory and the lives of other people regardless of wealth. In Nigeria, no governor or president can veto money for himself legally. That's why we have cases levelled against them after office. Those who vie for office singularly for money are the senators and reps. They do not have immunity so they collect bribes or vote money for themselves. These are the real enemies of Nigeria. |
KahlDrogo:My brother, Rivers people are very violent when roused. Imagine! Beheading a man and killing families because someone left PDP? I knew their election would be bloody. Last year, it was a contest between the thugs, police, army who supported PDP and on the other side, the thugs who supported APC. Civilians died in droves. Yesterday the tables turned only that the federal government wasn't brazenly using the security agents like last time. But Wike was prepared with his fake police and soldiers. Imposters going about seeking out opponents and security agents to murder. Rivers people have once again made headlines around the world for appalling violence. A whole community of extremists. |
Lol. There is no depth to which the PDP will not sink. Wike is a real evil genius. He purchased his position with the blood of his brothers and he has shed more blood again after threatening to do so. If Christians had extremist / terrorist groups, they'd be from Rivers state. |
Hmmm. I just had to check the name. O boy. Some people dey vex. |
This letter is revealing. Will it be admissible in court? We shall see. |
Lol. Delay tactics. Oga, you have not explained your assets up till now. Better talk. |
Now we know why he decamped from PDP. After committing all these as a PDP governor, he thought he could escape by running. This is the kind of person Akpabio and his cohorts endorsed as senate president. Birds of a feather. |
Thank you OP. You have done your part as a citizen. |
The negative comments against the governor only point to one thing: some nairaland members don't understand English language. The governor only came out to debunk rumours that schools will close the term for "Easter Break". He said the schools will observe the holidays on Friday and Monday (just like every other state). What then is the reason for so much bitterness against this man's statement? Why are some of you so bold to expose your poor comprehension skills? |
Lol. Why the exaggerated pose? Nigerian politicians and their childish tactics. |

This useless man fit dey flex for the carribbeans while they bury banana leaves in a casket to decieve the gullible that he his truly dead. Remember once beaten twice shy. Person wey dress like woman to avoid arrest can stage his death to avoid Buhari's corruption fight
