Nobody is born a homosexual. There is no genetic marker for homosexuals. It is a sexual "preference" and therefore, it's like any other social concept. The laws of any country can determine the acceptable social associations/practices within it's borders and the laws of Nigeria banned the practice because of it's offensive nature to most of the populace. Curious enough, I remember this particular issue was widely discussed by legislators and community/religious leaders before it was passed.

When your gay scientists can prove that homosexuality is not a mere social inclination but something "in-born", perhaps legislators would amend the law.
