Buhari is testing the waters. Every little illegality he gets a way with is a step towards something more sinister. It will soon get to the point where he can declare himself president for yet another term and cite “insecurity” as an excuse and these Reps will uphold it. |
Since when has legal backing mattered to the useless Nigeria Police or their political IGP? They will enforce this illegality with their firearms. Only a public demonstration can achieve anything of note. I would have said Legislative intervention, but our lawmakers are evil greedy MOFOS. They will gladly watch Nigeria burn as long as their Prados and allowances are untouched. |
anigbajumo:The governor only has authority over Amotekun. Armed forces and police are federal. |
tamonokare:The oldies (who constitute a large majority of the complacent Nigerians) who use Facebook will be affected. Also FB has way more users. My simple speculation though. |
May the ancestors of the land of Nigeria punish Desmond Elliot AKA Desmond Hediot. Werey wan dey disguise. E no go betta for am |
thebosstrevor1:You don’t know what you’re saying. The IG gave a precursor to this when he ordered his men not to care about human rights but to pursue any means necessary to fight ESN. A suspension of your human rights means you are at the mercy of any government agent. If you live in Nigeria, that should give you pause. |
Police have performed their one-kind miracle again. Let’s hope these boys were not raided on the streets and executed. Nobody trusts policemen who shoot young people for having iPhones and nice cars. |
This is an unjust law. |
adewumiopeyemi:Is that justification for deliberately misleading people to “invest”? Look don’t let this devolve into “whataboutism”. Your excuse that he did a promo does him no good. It appears he has deleted the tweet anyway. That shows you he understands the danger in aligning with this “investment” scheme. |
![]() Of course. You must defend your job. It is expected. Those who are kidnapped on their way to PPA or orientation camp don’t share your optimism oga DG. NYSC needs to evolve. It was designed for unity, we know, but now it needs to solve the problem of unemployment for fresh graduates! Corps members cannot be the only ones contributing to the scheme or the communities. NYSC should also give them something that will help them get on their feet immediately after service and not spend time looking for jobs, being at risk of scammers or even kidnappers! If service cannot contribute meaningfully and especially financially to the welfare of Corps members then it should be scrapped! |
adewumiopeyemi:Are you saying he lied so that people would invest their money? That is even worse! |
Beware the wolf in sheep clothing. He is up to something. |
Alaye don’t do it.Please don’t waste the useful part of your life on that job. When taking some offers, check if you will have the chance to work on a side hustle or go for interviews. This particular cleaner job is different. It is dawn to dusk everyday. You won’t even have time to sleep before you have to leave home for work in the morning. And for what? 25k. That may not even be enough for transport and feeding. If you take that job you will understand what I’m talking about in 2 days. And yes, you are right. It won’t just be cleaning alone. Have you ever seen a cleaner who only cleans without other menial tasks attached? |
adewumiopeyemi:https://twitter.com/yinkaa_gbolahan/status/1397206946307002371?s=21 He actually claimed he was paid. |

According to feminists, we should all have believed the wife cos she was telling “her truth”. When women in tears accuse men, we must never examine or doubt their stories, else we shall be called rape apologists or some other buzzword. But here we are. Imagine the doubts the children had for their dad for years, all because of a senseless lie! And the police too. Once they get a report from a woman against a man, that man will be restrained even if he’s taking his own daughter to the hospital. They won’t even offer to escort him there. No, they will rather treat him like a criminal until proven innocent. The game is rigged against men. |
Police said they have no network! What a disgrace!!! |
When we say Nigeria can’t get better, some people get angry. Now let us consider this. Someone somewhere didn’t do their job properly and knew it will affect the health of thousands of people. But did the person care? No. They don’t give a damn if anyone dies. As long as something is flowing through the pipes, they are satisfied |
Mbataku96: ![]() I like this answer OP, don’t worry you will soon find what your looking for and the price will be heavy like what Thanos had to pay for the soul stone. Desperate ignoramus. Money rituals don’t work. If not, the spiritualists would use you customers as sacrifice. But they would rather task you and chop your money before you wise up. |
Fôolish protest , fôolish protesters. This is an old war. Jerusalem is an ancient Hebrew city and the capital of the historic nation of Judah. The name ironically means city of Peace. The conversion of the old temple site into a mosque is viewed as desecration and an unforgivable insult on the culture of Israelis. These misguided Islamic protesters should ask themselves how they would feel if the their holy site in Mecca were destroyed and a Jewish temple built upon the ruins. Jews have been targeted for conquest and displacement since the days of Nebuchadnezzar and the Persian Empires that followed. Even the Romans took a swipe at them and destroyed their temple in events that led to the most effective displacement they have ever suffered. Only in the 20th century were they able to return home only to meet a mosque where their temple used to be. That’s injustice. These fanatics in Oyo should go and sleep. |
Hope they don’t expect Nigerians to be sad at this. The general who preferred to bombard secessionists rather than fight bandits who are killing students and burning worshippers alive in churches. |
Ignoramuses run this country. |
cybersoldiers:True Very dangerous individuals These e-feminists won’t call this predatory behaviour now. |
This subsidy back and forth is the biggest smokescreen in Nigeria. |
A great man. He didn’t set out to be famous. All he wanted was to fight tyranny, but life rewarded him with fame and resources. Happy birthday to a great man and role model. Many happy returns. |
31 years old and You’ve never been in a relationship? That’s not normal. Have you been broke but busy toasting gold diggers? Cos that’s the only way you’d be this old and never have been in a relationship. Toast normal girl in your street na. |
Imagine sacking nurses during a pandemic. It appears this governor doesn’t believe covid is real. COVID aside, there is a shortage of health workers in Nigeria presently. If there should be mass retrenchment, health workers should be exempt. |
WarmShisha:Even OBO won’t support your vulgarity. There are fans and there are slaves. You are not a fan. |
This Grammy will still cause many things. ![]() |
stayclearofme:I tell you! Dem dey mad. If their spouses cheat on them now they would want to commit suicide, but they are here saying “mind your business” as if a best friend is not someone’s business. |
SweetCuntess:What do you mean by “minding her business”? Is her best friend (whom she helped into the company) not her business as well? Is this how you would watch your best friend date a married boss who can use and dump her or who’s wife can harm her? This is your best friend you’re talking about. I feel sorry for those who call you friend. Perhaps you also see nothing wrong in dating your married boss. |
The “mind your business crew” have arrived. This was not just anyone, it was her best friend! Why can’t she warn her best friend? I wonder what you guys call friendship if you cannot talk to your best friends when they are putting themselves at risk of being disgraced or taken advantage of. Sometimes you think your friends like you as much as you like them but the universe has a way of opening your eyes. |
