Pls how far with the delay after gear change? My mech said its the gear sensor, which we have changed on two occasions but the delay is still happening. Quite brief anyways, but on the highway it irritates me when I have to count 1,2.. before the car takes off.

Thank you. I have further enquiries pls. Honda Accord 1998, what can be responsible for this. I Sometimes I check the engine oil with the dip-stick and it indicates low oil, I may check it later the following day or day after and it would be above the max line. There was a day it didnt even touch oil and I was alarmed that there was no oil there, and didnt drive the car but checked again later and behold it indicated oil.

There is no consistency at all in the dipstick indicator. And it is quite confusing. Kindly note that as usual, the oil is checked before the car is powered up and after resting well over the night. What could be responsible for this inconsistency pls? A mechanic told me the oil is 'hiding at different places in the engine' , and that i should not worry. But how can I not worry when I check oil measurement and it is low and I'm not sure if it is actual low or 'oil hiding' low

Also, after the car engages to a lower gear it delays for like 2 secs before picking speed as it was supposed to pick immediately after changing.

I equally supported Ambode, but that does not mean I should turn a blind eye to his failings.

During Fashola's regime, whenever there is a pothole or bad portion on a major road, I can authoritatively tell you from personal experience, that within a short time, you won't notice that particular pothole again.

Lagos State public works were very very active during Fashola. They seemed to have gone limbo now.

The same thing happened when Ambode came in, Lagos State Public Works did not do anything and all the roads started going bad and causing terrible traffic congestion. It was when people started complaining and abusing him that he mobilised them to start fixing the roads.

Take a drive to Osborne - Ilubirin heading towards the 3rd Mainland and experience tyre ripping holes and gaps. That has been there for over a year now and nothing done about it.

Or take Marina towards the State house onwards Bonny Camp. A whole section of that road has completely failed and the other part riddled with potholes.

Or is it the underpass before the UBA house leading to Marina?

Or go to VI, Bar Beach bus stop to be precise and see how the road there has turned to a one way drive because of large craters on the road. If such could be happening in VI now imagine what would happen on the mainland. I purposely don't even drive through Apongbon at night even when it is the shortest route home because of the bad roads leading to severe traffic there giving pick pockets and thieves a filled day there.

The Road Maintenance team are the worst i have seen in years. Not even an effort to fix major roads. Lagos was celebrating 50 years of excellence painting and erecting useless monuments when basic infrastructure like roads were going extremely bad. i have had to change my back bushing and upper arms twice in the last 6 months due to bad roads. A colleague has had to buy 2 new tyres in the last one week both tearing apart from the sides due to bad roads.

I clearly think the Governor seems to be sleeping or LSWPC is headed by a dumb and deaf career politician that knows nothing about road maintenance.

Very apt and true. I frequent almost all the places you mentioned. The roads are indeed an eyesore.

I was in a terrible traffic one day from VI through Osborne, I even thought a vehicle broke down, only for me to get to front of that estate and discovered it was bad portions on the road that caused the traffic. I spent almost 4hrs to get to my destination that day.

PHEDC surprisingly came to my area Rumuomasi, PH to install prepaid meters for FREE ( although we fine them small thing sha. 9ja).

Since the installation, we've had increased power of about 16-18 hrs. average and my preinstalled 25units is still on.

Heard 1kw is about 24naira which in my OP is still expensive. Since then I've not even thought of my AC. fridge is now on a need to cool basis.

Korea has been issuing rehetorics about attacking Guam. Trump is now saying let's wait and see if North Korea will live up to its words before US will unleash its military arsenals.

US is not threatening to attack North Korea until Korea threatened to fire missiles to US coastal region of Guam.

You will be surprised Russia and China will maintain neutrality in the case of US war with North Korea. No one wants to risk the event of of nuclear war with the other. The best they can do is to arm North Korea. That's all.

See, the Americans have grown soft, they are not ready to stomach a direct military confrontation with an enemy who has the capacity to strike back.

They have been behaving like bullies all this while, attacking and invading countries without the capacity to strike back.

The sole reason we have North Korea today is because of China. It was the Chinese army that assisted North Korea to drive back the US and South Korean forces that has already defeated the North Korean forces and almost pushed them into China.

China mobilised more than a million troops within the twinkle of an eye, to the surprise of US and South Korea and started pushing them back, reclaiming lost territories back to North Korea until the present 38th parallel was achieved and all parties dug into their present positions till this day!

As it happened during the Korean war, China will definitely enter the battle on the side of North Korea as failing to do that will mean the collapse of North Korea and Americans at their very border.

Countries only react when their strategic interests are threatened. China does not want US at her border, same with Russia that was why Russia reacted swiftly to Ukraine when US started getting over ambitious with them. China will do same here.

North Korea has the capacity to militarily strike strike back at US, it's bases in the region, and also it's allies in that region, that is why the US is back to its usual mouth mouth talk. They won't attack North Korea.

South Korea also does not have the mind to do the dirty job for the Americans. They have grown fat and successful and not ready to have Seoul which is very close to North Korea to be in ruins. North Korea has thousands of standby artillery directed at Seoul (South Korea), ready to start firing at any instant.

US has also not attacked Iran till date because it knows Iran also have some capabilities to strike US bases and allies in the middle East. And create serious oil crises.

Nuclear weapons are more of strategic weapons and not tactical. Although I know some nuclear weapons are designed as tactical and dubbed same, but nuclear power on the face value is mainly a strategic power. Why did the US not use them against China during the Korean war at a time China itself was not yet a nuclear power??

US is just making noise. North Korea as a nuclear power has come to stay, and all their talk is not going to change that. They are just talking for talking sake.
