Family › Re: So, What About When Women Abuse Men? by agitator: 9:21am On Aug 13, 2014
filani: Duly noted, I framed my post the way I did to encourage men not to accept abuse from women as 'normal'.

Abuse instigated by any gender is wrong to be sure but look around you, when was the last time you saw a topic on abuse which did not cast men as the abuser and women as the perpetual innocent victim?

When was he last time you read an article in the papers on abusive relationships where abusive men are demonised but abusive women are 'swept under the carpet' and treated as a myth?

How many Nollywood and Hollywood movies have touched on the (cliche)issue of abusive men and strangely silent on abusive women?

We men will continue to be on the receiving end of this biased mindset until we are ready to push for a change!
I'm not a die hard Nollywood fan, but few times I've watched some nollywood movies with Patience Ozokwoh active abusive roles against her husband. huh huh huh

Another Nollywood actress also, can't really remember the name. And most people who watch see the man as a sissy. undecided undecided undecided

Some women are physically assaulted by men because the husband doesn't want people seeing him as a sissy. The only way in Nigeria (my opinion) to show people that you are not a sissy is to beat the living day lights out of the woman. angry angry angry

And the man becomes the abuser in the eyes of the society grin grin grin

simplex2: Such myopic way of reasoning! You think you're better off than the North and they don't deserve adequate security? do you know the population of christians in the north? Do you know the population of non-northerners residing and doing b business in the north? Maybe, yaradua should have allowed the niger-delta militants to over-run the south according to your myopic logic.

Don't even border replying me, I have an idea what nonsense you will spew!
Seriously you need a brain check, are you ok wink wink wink
How many people did the Niger Delta militants kill? Didn't OBJ let them run riot after embezzling $25B meant for power.

simplex2: Why shouldn't people discuss the illegal deployment of soldiers to perform civil duties meant for the police and civil defense? The country is under siege, a part of the country has been hijacked by touts; mounting their flags and undermining the sovereignty of this country yet the army are helping INEC to conduct a state election. Its a big disgrace! No wonder the international community don't take our fight against terrorism seriously.

And who told you that numbers don't matter in a fight? You think 200 well trained and sophisticated soldiers can defeat 20,000 untrained men that can only aim and shoot? Wake up brother.
If I'm am GEJ, would have allowed them to take over the whole North. Why waste time on Terrorist. Best thing he should have done when all this nonsense started was to take the Youths here train them and acquire latest weapons and move south, let them eat their North, if the supporters of APC like let them join the north wink wink wink

MzJackBaueress: The saddest part of it is the wives of the soldiers have now turned widows and children have become fatherless.
I hope its not the soldiers who were stopped by their wives and children from going into battle. That will be very sad!

SpencerLewis: Mr. window xp, this ur write up has exposed how dumb and ignorant u are. Russia is a small country. Only ITIs like u will say dat. We, as if u know where USA is on the map, let alone stepping ur feet into it. U called 'yourself civilized, yet u ended up destroying Iraq in a bid to look for phantom WMD. Look at Iraq, Libya etc where ur 'foot print went to'. For ur info, Russia is the largest country on planet earth in land mass, and the largest in population in Europe by far. USA is more populated b/c of immigrants and nothing more & therefore no man's land. By the way, which 2 wars did ur USA fight simultaneously & won them. They ran away from Vietnam, Korean war was a stalemate. USA invading Russia and conquering it? U must be dreaming. Maka chukwu, they know their limit. For ur info, Russian nukes are more dangerous that USA's own. Wether, Bush is in power or Obama, USA military might will always be the same. They can only intimidate Iraq, Syria, Libya etc. They can't even intimidate Iran let alone North Korea. Russian population is more than 170million and their military strength is 1.4million (excluding reserves). Meanwhile, this kind of war is technology (mostly cyber warfare) & Russia if u can remember are the masters when it comes to space technology. So, park well window xp whatever.

frankefe: Gurus in the house....I hail u all as we keep enjoying the benefits of Internet.
Pls how do I loop out to other rooms. I I just got Queeneth dog and it doesn't have rf out,I have 4669x2 which I was using before. Please how do I use these 2 decoders with one dish so that other rooms could have signals .
You should go to shops where electronics parts are sold and buy AV to RF converter.

After you have purchased it.

Connect the Q to the AV to RF converter then
The RF from the converter to RF-in of the 4669x2,
from the 4669x2 RF-out to the tvs.
and scan the tvs

If you encounter picture cross,

check the AV to RF converter out frequency, some are adjustable while some are limited to channels 3 and 4 only, set to desired frequency
4669x2 go to settings AV settings and RF channel, then change to another channel
don't use frequency of local NTA or AIT channels. wink wink wink

SirShymex: Lmao @ the bold.

That's America's biggest weapon...wonder why the Malaysia airline that got shot down is off the news now after they found out that it was their puppet in the Kiev that shot it down, not Russia. grin

Heck, even the decision makers in Washington have overdosed on their own propaganda, like a crack dealer who overdosed on his own supply, hence the sabre rattling. However, I doubt top American military generals and decision-makers are irrational like the politicians and media houses, they know what it's. I do read American military briefings all the time, and the top military people in America know what time it's.

The Russians don't talk that much, they act...that's their mentality. Just leave the Russian bear alone!
US behave like sissies while Russia act like men. Men don't talk too much. cool cool cool
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russian Nuclear Bombers Keep Roaming Closer To U.S. Airspace by agitator: 1:43pm On Aug 09, 2014
SirShymex: Even if Ukraine had nuclear war heads, it won't dare shoot it at Russia.

Kiev shot a few medium range missiles that can carry nuclear warheads at Donbass two weeks ago, and Russia shot those missiles down half-way before they got to the East. So, imagine if those missiles had nuclear warheads - that would've been the end of Ukraine.
US just manufacture one weapon and would show its capabilities to the whole world, which is "PROPAGANDA." Saddam also understood the game and used it effectively against his neighbours until US invaded Iraq.

Russian weapons are not displayed for the whole world but only during their weapons parade which US gets information on the capabilities through spies. angry angry angry

Russian nuclear bombers were spotted flying near Alaska this week. The bombers were escorted by fighter jets, floating just outside of U.S. and Canadian airspace. This is the second such sighting since June, sparking the attention of American military jets.
