Crime › Re: Police Kills Again! by agitator: 9:27am On Dec 02, 2011
People still wonder how Nigerians survive, even in countries such as somalia, iraq, , becuase in Nigeria, we encounter the police, army, area boys, armed robbers, etc. I think that is enough training.

In port harcourt even if you buy television set, police will extract money from you.

complain the the house of leaders, they will reply that they haven't seen or witnessed such actions. They will tell you to provide evidence. Take picture, IG will say you are endangering the lives of policemen performing their legimate duty.

They collect money right in front of every police station. create another point 500mtrs within seeing distance of each other.

When robbers appear they run away, but when their are no robbers around you see them harrassing/extorting innocent cititzens in the name of performing their duty. angry angry angry

Pls WHY CANT U GUYS READ BEFORE SPITTING RUBBISH COMMENT

The man did not say he promised anything, he SAID WORK HAS ALREADY BEGUN.

SO I DONT UNDERSTAND THE NEED FOR SO MUCH HATE.

I was never a GEJ supporter, but the fact is that the man is already there, so we must let him work. Instead sitting there and spitting out DISCOURAGING comments, why not join hands to assist govt in achieving its policies.

Afterall, if you dont believe in the govt, then u have no right to expect it to work

All these spitting of bitter words is getting too much. Even during the obasanjo regime (which is reputed for the grossest embezzlement and corruption) it was not as bad as this! GEJ is a human being, Nigeria can not suddenly become shangrila overnight!
u want to talk sense into yoriba tribalist, or northerners who believe ruling nigeria is their birthright?

all the yoriba critics where were they when OBJ was draining the country, he spend $50 billion on power and still no light. The hausa's and yoribas have been ruling the country for the past 50 years nothing to show for it. GEJ is there for less than a year and they are crying blood and thunder. I don't blame them, I blame the useless kaikai and ogogoro drinking ijaw people, who put the whole niger delta into the mess. angry angry angry

What is going on in the SW? These raids are getting more brazen with each passing day; the weapons they employ are also rapidly increasing in sophistication.
The FG better send in more security services to solve the problem and protect folk in the SW, before these armed robberies turn into something else.

week commencing 23 october robbers killed two mobile policemen along ikwerre road and successfuly made away with their loot angry angry angry
next week everyday emporium and about 3 people killed and made away with the loot angry angry angry
next week along airport road, rukpoku town, robbers killed more than 8 people including ALL 4 policemen escorting the bank cash and made away with the loot. angry angry angry angry angry
not up to 5 days later robbers raided the elimgbu police station to rescue on of their hitmen. And there are more than 5 POLICE CHECK[s]REVENUE[/S]POINTS ALONG THE ROAD angry angry angry angry

I always laugh when some smart a r se guys calling our leaders looters clueless, retardeen, and all sorts of names while we are the dumb and docile nigerians.

once overheard a conversation between the supervisor (euivalent of commissioner at state level and minister at federal level0 of one local government arm and the chairman.

Supervisor: Chairman sir, i have a plan to generate revenue

Chairman: Ok lets see your plan.

after supervisor explained the plan

Chairman: I don't think that will work. It will only create problems for my government.

Supervisor: Sir, I am assuring you it will work, without any problems.

Chairman: I still have my doubts. abi you want the people to cry for my removal?

Supervisor: Chairman sir, it will not come to that level. I have thought out the whole plan. The people will only make noise. They cant take action.
In fact those who pay late will be fined generating additional revenue. But you have to assure me that i will remain the head of this department as long as you are the chairman. You know that everybody was avoiding this department because no revenue was coming in.

Chairman: If you really can do this, you have my word that as long as I remain chairman nobody will replace you.

Supervisor: OK, thanks sir.

within three months the supervisor became the envy of other supervisors. Nobody was able to successfully protest against the double levy imposed since that state was already collecting same.

Are these the people you call clueless, retardeen, etc? grin grin grin grin

IMO, archiCAD is for architects while autoCAD is for everybody.
thread starter this answers your question. If you are an architect and your want to specialize on architectural drawings go for ArchiCAD which is specifically program for buildings, although the programmers are trying to expand it's uses, but AutoCAD is for all engineering disciplines.

Wallie you are very correct that phonetics and correct pronunciation are not taught in most of the public schools. I only learnt a single 's' between vowels is pronuonced 'z' in SSS3 and we were even taught by a NYSC corper.

Ghanians have accent, English Language is also their official language and Ghanians don't whine about it. Same for Kenya and other countries.

Nigerians are something else.
