When I finally meet this new guy(one young guy), he drove the car around and told me he will fix it but it will cost me 60k. So, we bargained and finally settled at 30k. He initially told me he will need to allow the car to cool for a minimum of 6 hours b4 he will open the gearbox, and that the car will be ready the next day. So I said okay. Later, he told me to enter the car and let's drive it again. We drove it a few distances then he parked and fixed his machine in the car. He carried out a TRANSMISSION ADAPTATION RESET and that solve the whole issue.

USA is N61 per unit, Sounth africa N55.6, Nigerians are paying N53 per unit. The lowest is Sudan, N0.734 per unit, followed by Libya N1.780 per unit.

Good morning everyone, please I need your advice on the day I went for capturing they noticed that my NIN has a mistake which I have done the correction last year, but my capturing was done that day, so I went to Ikoyi NIMC office and they said they haven't done validation on NIN that I should be calling Abuja, I later got an agent here on Nairaland (ElsieCapital) and he said he has done the validation of the correction but my passport tracking is still showing NIN Verification pending for like two days now, please does this mean that the validation has not work or what?

I attached a picture of the outdoor unit of an LG 2hp. Look at the top corner where they wrote Model- it is 11 character long. Every character means something.
But the 5th and 6th character is what tells you the horsepower. This one says 18 which means 2hp. 12 means 1.5hp. 9 means 1hp. You can also get this information from the carton and on the right side of indoor unit. Leave a comment if you have another question

The Akwa Ibom State government has expressed disappointment with some communities in the state to writing letters to investors and issuing all manners of threats against them.

According to the state government, the struggle between Ibeno and Iket local government areas over the ownership of the Stubb’s Creeks Reserves said to have been acquired for the construction of a refinery by BUA Petrochemical company is calculated to scare away investors in the state.

The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Ini Ememobong, stated this on Thursday in Uyo while speaking with journalists.

He said the project located in the Ibeno Local Government Area would add value to the economy of the state, adding that the BUA Petrochemical “is coming with a road project that will open up the coastal areas of the state”.

The President of the Rivers Entrepreneur and Investors’ Forum, Ibifiri Bobmanuel, has revealed that the actions of the Rivers State Government and some local governments in the state were the reasons the Dangote Petroleum Refinery was moved from Rivers State to Lagos State.

Bobmanuel, in an interview with DAILY POST said the forum engaged the management of the Dangote Group and also wrote the Federal government for the refineries not to be moved to Lagos.

The President of REIF, however, noted that it was discovered that the Rivers State Government and the local governments where the refineries were to be located, Okrika and Eleme made huge demands from Dangote Group, which led them to move the refineries to Lagos.

“The Dangote refinery was to be situated in Rivers State and later they made a U-turn and went to Lagos, and we were very miffed by the whole approach.

“We wrote a couple of letters to the management of the Dangote group. “We went as far as writing to the Federal Government.

“When they called for a meeting with us, we went for that meeting. It was discovered that the investment that was meant to be situated in Rivers State, precisely Okrika and Eleme Local Government Areas, they got preliminary land acquisition and agreement and perfected all that.

“But the amount of pushback and demands that were from the state government at that time, obviously, left them with no other option but to go and situate the business at a location where they were welcomed.”

Bobmanuel said the Rivers State Government, local governments and communities need to understand how to negotiate with business owners to attract businesses.

“This brings us back to what we at the Investors’ Forum have always talked about. We’ve always felt the Rivers State Government, the local governments and the communities need to understand the language of businesses.

“You can only imagine the amount of impact the refinery is going to have on the IGR of Lagos State. Imagine if that investment was situated in Rivers State”.

He said the incoming government needs to sit up and see the importance of private participation in governance in the state.
