ariesbull: How many of these industries are owned by Ogun indigenes so that we can know what group economics is
Like Anambra 95% of industrial activities there are owned by Anambra folks making the money stay in the state
But in Ogun there is what is called capital flight! Investors pay indigenous folks peanuts ,declare anything as profit then oay paltry tax and repatriate the rest money back to home
So once again how many Ogun people owns industry in Ogun state or are they just workers ?

TruthsFM: not false news but truths news with links to read more of the judgement.
You need to read the judgement because you keep on posting that OBJ failed to win FCT which is false. This was never an issue in the petition submitted by Buhari.
TruthsFM: “After the 2003 elections, Buhari called for the cancellation of the election since Obasanjo failed to win in FCT but it was resolved that winning the FCT is not mandatory but having 25% in FCT is very mandatory".
Prosecuting, Paulinus Barnes told the court that Nwadiaju and Mrs Echem married in Nigeria in April 2022, having been in a relationship since the previous October.
But they separated in August 2022, with Mrs Echem having reported abuse and violence inflicted upon her by Nwadiaju in Nigeria previously.
He then came to the UK to study a masters course in environmental and business management in Bangor.
But, on October 13, his wife Kosisochukwu Stella Echem - known as Stella - travelled from Nigeria to Bangor, hoping for a reconciliation.
The court heard he told her that she would have to come with him to Edinburgh and get two jobs. But she said she was going to live with her uncle in Manchester.
Stella had brought a friend to Bangor and was going to the friend's contact's house, but the prosecutor Mr Barnes said Nwadiaju became abusive.
He pushed her into a room and locked the door, the court heard.
However, the woman managed to turn the lock from the inside. She took some belongings and left, but then realised her husband still had her passport.
She reached into Nwadiaju's pocket but, as she did so, he punched her forehead and mouth with both hands. A few days later, she went to hospital for treatment.
He is in the UK on a 12-month student visa which expires in January 2024. He is taking a Masters degree in Environmental and Business Management at Bangor University and has an excellent work record.
He has been offered a job in Edinburgh but has put his application for a work visa on hold pending these criminal proceedings.
The petition averred that INEC was "undemocratic, lacking in neutrality, unfair to all concerned save for the PDP and President Obasanjo in the conduct of the elections." The petition, which contained state by state analysis of irregularities alleged that PDP members were seen painting private vehicles in INEC colours in Ebonyi State. Among other things, Buhari said a statement credited to INEC chairman, Abel Guobadia, that he (Buhari) was a "frustrated man," indicates that INEC was already biased and had compromised its neutral position. He alleged that Guobadia was not fit to hold any public office as he was indicted by the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) for abuse of his office as Assistant Secretary.
"The figures ascribed to each of the candidates in the result above pleaded were the products of deliberate wrong entries made by the third respondent's (INEC) agents or representatives at the ward, local government areas and state collation centres. The elections sought to be nullified was conducted in substantial negation of the fundamental principles of the Electoral Act, which are the substance of democracy, neutrality in the conduct of the elections, fairness and allegiance to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Court of Appeal Judgement
President of the Court, Justice Umaru Abdullahi, upheld Obasanjo's victory and dismissed Buhari's petition but cancelled the results of the presidential election in Ogun State. It also condemned the INEC for its failure to present all the election results before it saying the commission could not be bigger than the nation.
However, it was in the dissenting judgement presented by Justice Nsofor that Buhari's appeal found merit. The minority judgement dealt a major blow to the credibility of the election and made a strong case for the cancellation of the results.
Supreme Court Judgement following appeal by MBuhari
Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Muhammed Uwais, held that there were not enough material evidence by Buhari to show that the April 2003 presidential election was rigged in favour of Obasanjo to warrant the vitiation of the election by the court, noting that election rigging is a criminal offence, and that going by the Evidence Act, such offence ought to be substantiated fully and not relied upon by mere hearsay.
Uwais further held that the election was conducted substantially in accordance with the 2002 Electoral Act. He said non-compliance with the Electoral Act as alleged by Buhari was not enough for the invalidation of the election.
TruthsFM: After the 2003 elections, @MBuhari called for the cancellation of the election since Obasanjo failed to win in FCT but it was resolved that winning the FCT is not mandatory but having 25% in FCT is very mandatory. President Obasanjo back then satisfied the basic requirements of 25% in 24 States AND 25% in FCT also having the highest number of total valid votes cast.
It was established in 2003 by those justices that 25% in FCT is as mandatory as having highest number of total valid vote cast to win an election in Nigeria.

MikeofAfrica: Tinubu's support can be counterproductive. APC has 59 senators while the oppositions have 50 senators.
Orji Uzor Kalu is closer to the PDP and LP than Akpabio. All he needs to win is to get the votes of 80% of the opposition senators. Hence if the senators from PDP and LP decide to spit on Tinubu, it is game over for Akpabio.
Cargoes that should have left the shores of the country in the last four days are currently tied down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) as custom agents agents protest a 100 percent increase in tariff.
This is also as the custom agents disclosed that they have lost over ₦2 billion as a result of the protest they embarked.
Speaking during a press conference at the weekend, Davies Chukwuneye, the vice chairman of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Custom Agents, (ANCLA) MMIA chapter, said the association withdrew their services after Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (Nacho) and Skyway Aviation Handling Company (Sahco) increased ground handling charges by 100 percent despite a similar increase three years ago.
Chuwkuneye said the association viewed the increase as obnoxious and highly insensitive and has held series of meetings with both ground handling companies, pleading with them to reduce the tariff to no avail.
“At the second week of February, the ground handlers sent a circular to the executive of ANLCA, introducing an upward review of 300 percent on their handling and other charges.
“The Association viewed this as being obnoxious and highly insensitive judging from the fact that the economic situation currently is so harsh to the extent that the Nigerian masses are struggling to survive.
“In view of this, the union excos entered into negotiation with the ground handlers specifically to make them realise that increment at this time is ill timed and that it will definitely have negative effects when it was still less than three years they had the last increment,” Chuwkuneye said.
He noted that exco’s intervention on this fell on deaf ears as they reluctantly came down to a 100 percent increment, adding that all over the world, there is nowhere 100 percent increment has been accepted and implemented.
He said people are struggling to survive in Nigeria and the regular increment without corresponding services is very worrisome.
“If we fold our hands and allow this to go on, maybe by the end of this year, another increment will come up. We are calling on the federal government to call the ground handlers to order.
"Four days ago, we withdrew our services from the warehouses and up till now, they have not made any move to send correspondence to us and we are dismayed because it shows that they are insensitive. We have made them understand that the increment will not help anyone including them,” he said.
He explained that the increment will send many custom agents out of business that is why the agents are pleading with the relevant agencies and stakeholders to intervene so that it would not generate into crisis that would be difficult to control.
“Within these few days, we have lost more than two billion naira. We are not saying there should be no increment, what we are saying is that it should have a human face so that we can remain in business.
“When this issue came up, we wrote to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) who are the regulators but till now, we have not heard anything from them. The two ground handlers have already started the implantation of the increase which has made it difficult for us to operate,” he said..
He explained that the services that they have been getting from both ground handlers is nothing to write home about.
“I can tell you authoritatively that most of the hand trucks used in both warehouses are bought by our members, yet we are paying handling charges. We had a situation where they went and hired machines and positioned them for us to inspect and few days after we had accepted increment, Nahco returned them to where they were rented.
“As I speak, the entire warehouse is leaking and the rain flooded the place and soaked the goods. We have been suffering loses as a result of our cargo being soaked by rain and we bear the cost of the damaged goods because our customers won’t agree to pay for goods damaged by rain,” he said.
But in a joint letter signed by Boma Ukwunna and Saheed Lasisi of Sacho and Nacho respectively, which was addressed to the chairman of ANLCA, the ground handlers said the final rates adjustment was effectuated in line with aviation standard as all relevant stakeholders recognised by law including government agencies and the regulator were duly consulted.
The ground handlers also insisted that they have complied with the relevant provisions of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)’s four main principles on increase in charges for Airport and Air Navigation Service providers as contained in ICAO Doc 9082, which are: Cost recovery, transparency, consultation with users and non-discrimination.
“On April 17, 2023 we had a meeting with all the relevant stakeholders, consequent upon which an agreement was jointly executed on April 19, 2023, where it was collectively agreed that the ultimate effective date for the implementation of the 100 percent increase is Monday, April 24, 2023.
“We were therefore shocked and taken aback that having achieved the above millage based on thorough justifications regarding the current economic realities, ANCLA members still went ahead, staging a protest for a matter that has already been resolved,” the ground handlers said.
The Association Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has rejected the 20 percent reduction in tariff being put forward by the two handling companies in the aviation industry, Skyway Aviation Handling Company SAHCO and Nigerian Aviation Handling Company NAHCO.
At a meeting held Tuesday to resolve the issues between the agents and the handling companies, the companies reduced the charges by 20 percent but the agents insisted on 50 percent reduction.
Davies Ben Chukwunenye, the vice chairman of ANCLA said the agents rejected the 80 percent put forward before them adding that the strike continues.
Davies said they will only agree on 50 percent, adding that there was no where in the world where 100 percent is allowed.
A week ago, customs clearing agents embarked on strike over the introduction of 100 percent cargo increase.
The agents say thay have lost over ₦6bn since the last commencement of the strike.
The two handling companies have said the increase is as a result of high cost of operations and acquisition of equipment.
