Icon4s:Costa ke? thank God de don sub am. It could have been WWE. But conte don manage costa aggressiveness wella. D guy don de change small small. Don't mind Kelechi he has over-gymned(or didn't u see his physic) we hope he bounces back soon and stop this comedy show. |
Welcome back@ Miss Safarigirl. The gr8 achievement on Sir. TheGoodJoe's path. Kindly do us a favour by calling out to Pep to feature kelechi-you seem to have a thunder-like voice. Did anyone watch liverpool's game today? Need an all round assessment on J. Ibe game. Is d lad worth fighting for? |
zicky:That's what frustration can do to a player. I was just SMH where I sat yesterday. I was like is this d same nacho I know? Well now that Aguero is out for 3games let see what pep will do. |
Mujtahida:Yes! That's d order of d day now. Football is fast evolving. From d traditional 4-4-2 formation to 4-2-3-1 and even now clubs(most esp english teams) are adopting d 3-4-3 formation-it's coming to stay after a fail trial by LVG but Conte's rejuvenated team has given an hint that it's workable. So, to crossing wingers. Team play has changed. Modern day Wingers(as said by TheGoodJoe) are no longer left with d sole role of touchline running n crossing as seen in d last decade. A modern day winger must have d ability to skip past markers, dribble, 'cut-in' and shoots. Though de seldomly cross but that's when d team are in dire need of a goal towards d end of match. Well, no matter how obsolete a tradition can be there'll still be some traces of it. I think some f d German bundesliga(wolfsburg), Italia Seria A teams still play this style of football. Though it's becoming boring when compared to d modern style and some coaches employ t to frustrate their opponents-since d larger part of d game is about ariel balls. |
Tomtoxic:Ahaa!!! He don tey o o o @Sir. Tomtoxic. How una de? Good to have u back. *Your suggestion of yellow card is funny* sometimes d best way to avoid e-fights is to remain silent and silence in most cases is not a sign of weakness but strength... I hope we outgrow this unscrupulous behaviours... |
Happy Birthday to Sir. Chrisooblog... Many more years in Jesus name. |
forgiveness:Wow glad to c u. Where have u been all dis while? Anyway, u're highly welcome Sir. |
You're damn smart@ Sir. Terzurum. I'm only trying to call him out f ghostmode... I share ur concern @Miss Safari and Sir. Pelezico(I don't think have come across this moniker) anyway, I think it's time nacho leaves city and move on to another 'class'... Big clubs will be willing to put him on their payroll. Klopp won't be a bad teacher but I doubt city letting him go to a rival-de know what he can turn to be and de are afraid of loosing him. But pep, he won't let him play. |
TheSuperNerd:*smiles* just trying to pull someones leg. |
I think it's time government start looking into railway industry/may be bringing in private investors into d industry. We need a functioning railway system linking d south n d north. With few cargo trains we should be able to reduce the numbers of trailers on our roads. Most esp in d Southwest... |
TheSuperNerd:Chai!!! that has been a donkey years. We really need to fix that no. 9 role. Or maybe it's time we call on Dominic Solanke-he could be d joker-you all know how prolific he is. |
TheGoodJoe:'TheGoodJoe's school of thought' I knew this will surely come. |
komekn:You're right! But remember Iwobi s still a rookie when t comes to professional football likewise is also young and may not be able to handle everything that comes with stardom-and this is where he needs parental guide which might come from his Biological parents, uncle(who for once, was also a football pro n understands more). Miss Safari might be right-u never can say@least t's coming from a lady. But Iwobi needs to make sacrifice just like everyother human being who aspire to reach d very top- and women de can b something else. Well this s d best moment his dad needs to step in n play d fatherly role in guide him through this period of youthful exuberance. |
komekn:Are u into talent scouting/u're a football agent? Cos u speak like one. |
Happy Birthday to Sir TheGoodJoe! Age with grace. |
joseph1013:*smiling* there is no better defender on this thread than Sir TheGoodJoe himself. He'll never concede to an arguement... He 'll surely defend his case. *watching in 3D* |
Wow! Welldone 4 d updates@Sir. TheSuperNerd hmmm... So our own darling SEs can boast of 3 solid teams(Team A,B,C) comprising of club regulars-indeed SE is on d rise... Dis will bring about healthy competition in d team-imagine d likes of 2Moses, Musa, Nacho, Iwobi, Onazi etc watching their backs so de don't get kicked out f d squad cos of abundance of talents who could step into their shoes and deliver... The Era when some players feels that de are too big than d NT n d coaches is far gone-A new era has truly been birthed. There is no better way in which discipline can be instilled than this-fair competition. Once again Kudos to Baba Rohr. If we can continue dis way we'll soon have a formidable team that'll be world beaters. |
Cool I call it football politics. The way this man is winning d heart of Nigerian is something else. Hmmm... Gradually he is on his way to d aso villa-just joking. I think for a long time, this man is d only good thing that d so called Nigeria FA(NFF) lead by Amaju P. has done to our football. |
terzurum5:Runaway? Wow! I really love the adjective 'Runaway'. Medjani hasn't know how fast this team is rising... Make e forget am. They can't catch us up. |
On Nacho's role in the Super Eagles: Nacho should only play if and only if he will be playing as a SS, AMF or from the flank in a 4-2-3-1 formation. If not he should fight for a starting shirt in this roles with other players or he comes in as a sub and never as a 9. I personally, won't want to see Nacho play the 9 role for Nigeria. Playing Nacho as a false 9 or 9 in the green, white and green will only reduce him to an average player. Note: Nigeria is no Manchester City, so therefore, there is no enough time for the team to train and blend in a way that will fit him just as in city (e.g last evening most of our wingers couldn't understand his timing noff the ball movement and thereby making it uneasy for him as we see week in week out in city) Nacho is a kind of player that takes his time on the ball before shooting, cos he shoots with caution and not aimlessly and there is no room for that in the front man position. He could have done better and probably score if he had played behind the striker yesterday. He is a kind of player that picks up misplaced passes, poor clearances and turn them into goals from outside the box. |

Japan6:0Nigeria. This is a total humiliation. Though I didn't watch the match but from what I can gather so far t will take a miracle to get out of dat group. I'll keep saying t our local female coaches are bunch of crap. They can't diff between an Africa championship n a world cup. This is what u get wen u think world football is about physicality n height. Well this result didn't come as a suprise to me. That Ihezuo or wetin be her name is average. She has been costing us so much since her u-17 champs. To me the best set of u-20 we've had so far is d one comprising of Oparanozie, Esther sunday, orji n d likes. The rest are just average who were just lucky enough to showcase what de got @ international level |
goldfish80:sir. You are on point. But Sir. TheGoodJoe won't just admit t. Nacho has more to offer than just scoring goals n playing him up front will only limit him. |
lakesidepapa:we thank God o. All fears don go now. I like ur moniker-lakesidepapa(e de sweet for mouth). |
How come Yaya n Ayew de inside dis list? I think one of our own boys deserve recognition(Mikel, Moses, Iwobi, Nacho, or Musa). Anyway NTA too don de plan to start their own award-make bbc go sleep joor. Well I'll give to P. Auba |
Baba Icon4s-you said it and t was so-170th goal was scored today. I throway salute to you, TheSuperNerd n Sir. Napoleon55. You so on point. |
I'm happy not because we won. But simply because we got a master tactician n a great man manager in Rohr. Sir. TheGoodJoe! Hope u saw our boy Nacho today(how I wish he scored) ? Nacho's role n performance today shows us that d no 9 role isn't d best place to play him. His abilities are best seen in a 10,8 or been flanked in a 4-2-3-1. But all kudos goes to Rohr for taking those bold steps. First, for benching Ighalo n Ideye, for bringing in Ndidi for Mikel who was more offensive today and lastly for given moses a call up(our local coaches would have miss handle d t due to their egos)... Iwobi is good but it's time he starts getting physical for that's what african football is about.(but d lad got some footwork just like his uncle did anyone see that carry-over) Moses is d man. Wait, where did he got that strength from? He was simply spectacular! Akpeyi was jittery today-we still Enyeama as a backup for carl. Finally, we need a natural 9 for that is d biggest hole we need to fill n sort out our fullbacks issue. It won't be bad if we have backups for Ekong n Balogun(their pairing has broughit solidity to d defence... Once again congratulations to everyone. Ride on Eagles we are going back to where we belong to-the very top. |
*Enters d room*Wow! *Everyone is smiling* *hugs everyone* congratulations to everybody. *Asks Madam Confun n Miss safari* are d fishes n frozen drinks ready? |
Hmmm... Feeling some tension. Fly Eagles. |
Sunnypa11:you're right Sir. I think Iwobi should help by tracking back while Onazi should also cover up when Echiejile surges forward. Moses n Omuero can handle d right side of our half. *Checks d time*. SuperEagles all d way. The land is Green(in sir Mikron's voice) |
I can't wait to watch beautiful football. But d kind publicity dis match don get no be here o. Wishing d SE all d best. |
