Ukodo (yam peppersoup) and my homemade Zobo
The Zobo is the best I've ever made. It tasted like wine. I didn't use sugar just watermelon, cucumber, pineapple, cinnamon, ginger, clove and flavoured powder.
Good day all

As promised....Jollof rice, grilled chicken, ice cream, avocado, berries, cucumber and sliced purple cabbage
I made myself this for a solo treat. I deserve enjoyment and more.
My chicken was marinated for 24hrs in coffee liquor, lemon juice, suya pepper, other spices, sweet basil, fresh oregano and thyme.
I didn't make the ice cream though....It was bought. Avocado costs 50 naira. Cucumber was sourced from my garden
Purple cabbage was from the farm. We have purple cabbages for sale....do patronize me abeg

shopwiser: Firstly no light everywhere in Nigeria plus fuel is expensive.. so we certainly can't even relate to your post.. Nigeria electricity powering gets poor day by day... Will it kill our leaders to power our country for even 12 hours a day. Maybe your location. We have light 22hrs a day here (Jos)....This is on an average. To the post, I don't own a TV or home theatre. The things that consumes my unit are my refrigerator, water heater (bathroom), hot plate and microwave. I use 2500 naira worth of unit a month. 1000 naira provide me with 16.5 units. I switch on my refrigerator for 6hrs a day. My water heater consumes most of the unit as I forget to switch it off some times. I'm learning new ways here |

Proudlynaija: Rice paired with vegetable stew That oil flowing from the egg is the real deal. I remember how i go for the tasty oil with soft boiled yam when I was still a child. Now I'm craving this but unfortunately, I can't cook on this farm AdorableSat: It’s not hard o And we use any type, young or old(if that’s the name ) Some people add baking soda to it so it can be soft but I don’t recommend that, I like it a bit hard, that way the nutrients stay in especially for boosting blood. Did you use Irish or sweet potatoes Prestonn:
still under my parents roof. Thanks oya let me adopt you. BlueRayDick: Breakie : ofada + goat meat sauce x goat meat Welcome back Huncle Dickson! We miss your ponmo and Eja kika pics. |

favelli: Hey good evening sir, I love the way you plant your vegetables in sacks. I would like to ask do you later transplant them after a while?? Or you leave them to grow till harvest in those sacks. Would love to try such method if it's possible, as I think it would be easier to properly water them No, I don't transplant them again. They were transplanted into the sacks. They will produce well there armyofone: I fell slightly in love with cabbage from eating Jamaican food. I now make both the regular and purple cabbage myself. Taste great but smells when I'm making it...so I have vinegar in handy while cooking cabbage. Awesome |
