Crime by foreign nationals (overrepresented by Nigerian men/ drugs, sex trafficking... ) exacerbates the situation.
If you are working legally and not involved in crime like many Nigerian professionals, you have little to worry about.

There was someone who went to SA on an official assignment.He was almost lynched by some SA boys who were smoking and drinking.After hearing he was on an official assignment, they left him and told him to watch his back.
There are many more scenarios I can't type all.

They are willing to go wild on Nigerians again at any slight provocation!
