Where in the Bible does it say saved people who continue in sin will go to hell fire? Nowhere is such found in the Bible. Saved people who sin are only punished here on Earth by God their father. God scourges as chastens his children who sin to keep them obeying him.

Many people who reject the Once Saved Always Saved doctrine do so because they believe it is a license to sin. When they are told that a saved person has eternal security and would go to heaven no matter what, they think this gives the person the right to live life however he wants.

If you check those who usually preach Once Saved Always Saved doctrine, they are the ones who usually uphold the laws of God. They preach holiness and fear of God. They believe they are not perfect and can't make heaven on their own, so they trust fully in Jesus Christ who is the way to heaven.

That's pride at work, which is why Jesus said it would be difficult for a rich man to enter heaven. That's because he's always trusting in his abilities and riches. Give that same car to a poor man and watch him accept it with joy unspeakable.

Sadly, we now have so many poor people with the pride of a rich man. If you give them the Good News of eternal life as a gift, they will reject it because they believe they can earn that eternal life on their own. To be saved, you have to throw away pride. Jesus said we have to humble ourselves as a little child before we can enter the kingdom of heaven.

If you live a good life on Earth, Deutoronomy 28 lists all the kind blessings God will bless you with. They are so beautiful and amazing that a true child of God will be motivated to love right to get those blessings on Earth. Guess what? Living right on Earth also earns you rewards in heaven.

Now, what if you decide to live a sinful life simply because you know you will still go to heaven if you die? Look, God will so punish you that you will regret your existence. You will become an example of whhat would happen to anyone punished by God. That same Deutoronomy 28 speaks of the horrible things which will happen to his children who fail to obey him.

The point is good news can be stretched along a spectrum and at any point in the spectrum will still be good news. The question then should be which one is obtainable. Using your analogy, i will tell you the one found in scripture. The good news in scripture is say you require the 50 storey building to pay off your debt and be saved from eternal prison sentence(hell) and you happen to be a now bankrupt wretch and pauper that begs for food on the road (your original human state). Then a good Samaritan (Lord Jesus) completely unrelated to you in anyway at all comes to meet you to tell you He just sold all he had in life (it is literally finished) to give you all and even more than the money(grace) you need to embark on the project and has transferred the money to your bank account (your spirit). He also has connections with a construction company(Holy Spirit)that will help you execute the project to whatever point you're willing (freewill) to fund it. You will then be a fool if you did not fund the project to completion because of the stress of typing your pin again and again to transfer money (spiritual exercises like prayer, fasting etc.) to the company at each phase of the project or because you became used to your wretched condition(sinfulness) and began to like it, you then leave the money dormant in your account. Jesus doesn't give you what you need to attain eternal life. He simply gives you eternal life which doesn't require you to work to earn it. All you need is to have faith in him.

Imagine someone walks up to you and says he wants to give you a 50 storey skyscraper on Eko Atlantic City. Why is God still considering you a righteous man and would allow you into heaven despite your many sins? That's because Jesus has taken your sins upon himself and has given you his righteousness.

What did Jesus do exactly on the cross? His action on the cross made him the saviour of mankind. When you appear before a judge for horrible sins, he will definitely sentence you. He bails those who believe in him from the consequence of sin when they die.

There is no eternal punishment for you if you believe in Jesus. You already have eternal life once you believe.
