. . . except if the property can give you close to 10mil annually. Else, you might want to try this for a start and continue if you like: invest 40mil in Treasury Bill for a year and compound the interest. Let's take 18% as rate:

18% of 40mil by 366days gives you 7.2mil. Takeout upfront interest and re-invest same day from same account:
18% of 7.2mil by same 366 gives you 1,296,000. Repeat process again:
18% of 1.2mil by same 366 gives you 233,280.

Now at the end of the 366days period, your interest in will amount to 8,729,280 and you'd still have your 40mil breathing in your account.
interesting. . .

Investnow2017:
THIS QUESTION AGAIN:

Can commercial banks buy Treasury Bills, say ones of 364 days tenors which normally attract a higher yield and break same into smaller tenors to sell at lower yields? If they can, will this not have negative implications for retail investors going forward?

These questions have become necessary because the increasing awareness about treasury bills is making banks to lose considerable amount of deposits as many are moving their fixed deposit funds to invest in TB.

Please, gurus help us analyse this situation for the benefit of everyone!
Fixed deposit have been condemned and demonized on this thread, and I dont think its fair. Banks need money to survive and pay their workers.

If everyone stopped maintaining fixed deposits what would happen to banks? I'm not sure we want to see another round of retrenchment into the already supersaturated labour market.

My sister used to work for one these banks, and I know the kind of intense pressure they face to meet their targets.

BTW wouldn't consider myself a guru, just an opinion based on my understanding.

only a brainwashed idiot believes:

1. A ponzi Scheme would "Last forever" like GHW claims

2. a site that runs not one single advert "Earn via traffic"

3. a site that claims to have 100 billion PH but matches people to pay 100% in just 2 days, where's the 100b locatedhuh
okay they said there was later 70billion, enough till "the end of the year" lol, I guess we are in January 2018 already huh?

you can keep attacking me and making guesses, it doesn't make one single information I gave there false

kindly prepare to PH and get OGH1 and OGH2

all ponzi should be discouraged cuz only the guys behind the curtains are guaranteed to make money, huge money at that [/s]
Empty nonsensical trash.

Your leaders are looting your sorry a$$ dry in far greater sums everyday, yet you didn't deem it necessary to launch a similar crusade against them. yeye dey smell.

You of all people are worried about people loosing their money?? shocked shocked shocked

wetin we never hear before grin grin

Ponzihater, a known sports betting agent and prolific ashawo patroniser launched a similar crusade until he was exposed for the hypocrite he is.

I repeat, only those with vested interest in the downfall of the scheme would devote so much time and energy discussing it.

I know a lot of people who detest the whole idea of such schemes, and with good reason, but you don't see them ejjaculating like you and your likes at the prospect of an imminent crash.

Final point: would I encourage anyone to go into it? No. However, what an adult chooses to do with his/her money shouldn't be anyone f&&king business.

It always amazes me how alleged NON MEMBERS seem to ALWAYS have the LATEST, UP TO DATE information on happenings in such platforms and rush to celebrate the alleged downfall. I have come to realize

1. Most were former members who tried con the system (eg multiple account) but where discovered and banned eg ponzisoldier

2. most are into similar business so the aim is to cause panic among the more established ones (mmm, GHW)

3. For some, its just to further their own interest, ie a form of cheap publicity. What else would draw crowd than issues related to MMM and GHW?? eg a NL who claims to be a "specialist in crytocurreny trading" (whatever the F^^K that is) has been in the forefront in celebrating the downfall of GHW. No doubt, he has also been getting a lot of PMs as well.

4. For some, it just plain fiendish, demon-like sado-masochism; gratification only comes from the discomfort of others. By their post you know them.

Did you say "moral crusader" i.e "my aim is to rid Nigeria of ponzi schemes!!"

Only an idiot believes that.

Not surprise is coming from the northern part!

Hypocrites people
Its not just the in north. I've seen it in a number of hotels down south, especially those owned by a pastor or perhaps a church. For instance, I remember lodging at a hotel owned by the Catholic church, and it was clearly stated that unmarried couples are not allowed in the same room. Not sure if they had to sign a declaration though

So I wanted to make a quick trip from Lagos to Ogun state this morning and as part of routine check up i decided to check my tyre pressure, pulled out my digital meter and one of the tyres was reading 28psi. Recommended pressure is 33 but I normally inflate to 35. Drove to this vulcanizer (or should I say fukerniser) and told him to inflate to 35. After he was done I checked myself with my own meter and to my surprise if was inflated to 75 psi. Wtf. I told the guy I wanted 35, he said he thought I said 45. Even if I said 45 how is that even close to 75?

So he deflated it and said it was ok, I checked again it was 60. I said it's too much, he deflated again and said that's 35. I now checked with his own meter and to my surprise he was reading the bar unit on his meter instead of psi. So he was taking 3.5 bar to be 35 psi which is actually 55psi. The idiot told me that my car is an SUV that I shouldn't deflate it further. I just told him not to worry, deflated it myself until it got to 35psi.

Pic 1: the meter the vulcanizer was using.

Pic 2: my own digital meter.
where did you buy your meter?

DAMN!! Just watched the video.

We've really underestimated the ability of Trump to shock us. shocked shocked

Just HOW LOW is he prepared to bring that office?

The sad reality is that his tomato-brained lackeys writhing in orgasmic thrill at each media-attacking tweet really believe he's fighting on their behalf. The height of Hitler-like delusion.

ITS ALL ABOUT HIS HIGHLY INFLATED, EGG-SHELL COATED EGO, YOU EFFING DIMWITS!!

For instance, does anyone with a functioning brain (i.e a non-Trumptard) really think his infantile outburst against Joe and Mika in any way affected them? Heck, it made them heros! IT elevated their status! But on the other hand it degraded the office of the POTUS.

His attacks against the media only exposes him, and more importantly, the OFFICE to unnecessary ridicule. Its shocking none of his aides can't see this.

BTW, shouldn't the POTUS be too busy for all these?

As Stephen Colbert asked in one of his shows, IS THIS REALLY AMERICA??

Happy new month. All I want to say is

Compound interest is a very great force.

take this scenario
A man who has 5million naira saved up and is working, can plan for retirement on time. How?
Let's say he compound his invests 5m annually @ 15% in Tbills and he contributes only 200k at the start of each year. After 20yrs, he will be a multi millionaire, making 105million. screen shot below

Ex2:Similarly one who compounds 1million annually @ 15% and adds 100k only at the start of each year,
After 20yrs, would have made 28million naira

Money enough to train his kids through university by then.

Ex3: For the ballers and top shot callers here, with 20million invested for only 5years @ 15% and with a yearly addition of 4miillion naira.
In 5yrs, u would have made 71million naira
Money enough to get start two housing projects.

One for personal use, and one for rent

#It may seem impossible due to fluctuation in tenor rates and
human desires for worldly things, but I tell u

If you decide to be a true disciple of compound interest, at least in a safe haven like tbills not a speculative market like stocks or lands or currency, You will sure harvest Big Fruits
Wow!! eye opening!! cheesy

Just a clarification, let me see if i get this compound interest thingy. using the first scenario, 5m @15 would yield 750k pa, right? So compounding would mean adding the 750k to the principal and reinvesting, ie 15m +750k = 5,750,000 the following year?

How come no one is critising the clown when his cabinet members turned him to Kim Jon Un ?. I can't fathom a sane person endorsing a 71 year old president acting like a 7 year old.
The shocking, blinding, sickening hypocrisy of it all.

His minions are harping his toughness as being one who "hits back harder". seriously?? WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE POTUS HERE, NOT SOME HIGH SCHOOL DROPOUT ON METHADONE-REPLACEMENT THERAPY!!! This is a man with the Fking nuclear codes, fa crying out loud!!

What Trump has done is the equivalent of a third world leader locking up a journalist simply for writing something critical about his government. The fact that his minions see nothing wrong with this "hit back harder" fiasco is the most shocking part.
