jpride:The sad fact is close to 95% of the so-called money making threads outright rubbish if not scams. From my experience any thread claiming to have 'discovered' the 'latest secret to online wealth' are usually fake. More often they are ponzi-type referrals and they usually start by asking you to 'drop your email'. Thankfully there are some very few viable ones and such threads very open and clear about what the business is about. Some posters have testified that they indeed made money from them, like the quora transcription, for instance. We hope to hear about more of such |
Where are the 'likers' and 'sharers'? Oya like for. . . . ![]() |

So kwankwaso na just mouth. He couldn't even pull half a million votes for Atiku. Yeye |
And to think that over 3 million registered voters did not vote. I wonder what d result would have been like ![]() |
1464768 APC |
Bakeroy:Biko na where u dey see all these ones |
Just passed PDPs office at my location and d mood says it all. KKK is still doing press up. Yobe has all but swallowed the entire SE. Seriously, for d Atikulators, let's face it, it's over. |
stockbear:As simple as that. Aside Enugu Atiku hasn't really gotten block votes in SE |
My initial point remains. Insisting that a candidate must get 25% votes in A PARTICULAR state/territory makes no sense whatsoever. Why FCT? Why not Lagos? Or JIGAWA? Anyways, both candidates have pooled 25% so I guess it doesn't matter. An interesting fact: since 1999 the two major candidates have ALWAYS obtained up to 25% in FCT. Another fact: PMB has NEVER won the majority votes in FCT since he started contesting. So I guess the result should not surprise us!! |
See them. It's all about who gets what position. No mention about good governance or providing much needed dividend of democracy Mscheeeeww. ![]() |
Dakad:GEJ won Abuja but lost d election |
AlPeter:It's as simple as that. I really wonder where the confusion is coming from. But seriously poeple should reason it: What on Earth would make FCT so special that the framers of our law would make it mandatory that a candidate garner 25% votes there to win? Did you say federal capital? I laugh in Greek. It's not done ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. So why was FCT separated? Well I can hazard two reasons: Like others have noted FCT is not a state and secondly 2/3 of 37 states/territory would lead to the fractionalzation crisis similar to the second replublic (look up Shagari vs Awolowo). The framers were obviously careful in thier choice of words FYI I'm not an APC fan but theres really no issue here. PMB can get 0 votes in the whole of FCT but as long as he gets his required 25% in ANY 24states, he will be sworn in. |
Ray97:I'm am not from the state but have lived here for many years and the nature of my job takes me to nooks and crannies of the state and do interact with indigenes. Truth is, Ortom has been an unmitigated failure. Its no doubt he is thoroughly disliked by the civil servants and are not really moved by his last minute antics. I guess the result is catching many off guard because while we agree he's generally failed, quite a handful (particularly farmers and IDPs I affected zones) stilll admire him for insisting on the antigrazing law despite pressure, and see the APC led govt as a threat. But I guess we overestimated Ortoms appeal. Personally this is the kind of result I was expecting during the gubernatorial election, and not this presidential one. But here it is. . . *Sigh |
But looking at these figures again. . .so even in Otukpo township David Mark couldn't deliver for PDP?? Hmmm. E get as be ooo. Well let's await confirmation |
IAmSkinny:Guy leave am oo. While I cannot vouch the authenticity of OP figures I can tell you the actual may not be significantly different. APC seems to be sweeping away votes especially in tivland. Just to be sure I called some friends in Gboko and was shocked to hear quite a number actually voted APC. When I enquired about the the destruction the herders had unleashed they were just dismissive claiming APC will still win so why 'waste thier votes'. |
Wilfredpat22:Still deceiving yourself with your stupid likes and shares. |

DamZik:You guys are funny. So you really think our govt can dictate to google to drop it's rate just like that?? FYI google gets it's information on conversion rates from a variety of source depending on the country. For Nigeria, it's from our CBN, and throughout the period, the rates remained steady around 360. In fact, like I posted in the other thread on this issue, the graph by the side of SAME Google rate of 180 clearly showed rate of 360. It was a glitch, end of. |
Gurusblend:See my answer above. It might also interest you to know from an economic point such a precipitous drop CANNOT happens without something significant happening, like the 2015 episode. |
PLATO1U:they dont even need to go that far. from the same google graph alone one can the trend is around 360. clearly a glitch
|
if only it were true. . . i for rush go buy dollar. but of course its NOT true. obviously a temporary glitch from google. if you doubt go to Wuse zone 4 and ask the nearest aboki. . . ![]() |

Jarus:As in!! I virtually every corner now, esp the es 300 and 350. I actually thought it was price, but it's not significantly cheaper than the more popular Camry. Likewise durability and ruggedness, it's generally similar to other Toyota products, at least from the owners I've interacted with. I think it's just the trending car for now |
faithfull18:It is!! Esp the bill Clinton one. Life na jeje oo sister ![]() |
