Finally change is here. I wonder how Agbaje think he wil win in Lagos with non indigene votes. Though I am igbo but will never vote for PDP even if Oba threatened to chase all Igbo away. Igbo sentiment is making them lose, now no igbo senate president still they have not learnt a lesson. How will they want Lagos to be in opposition for close to 20yrs now? How do we expect meaningful development if we should vote for PDP who wish to take over Lagos at all cost so that they can continue their chop I chop politics. I know that Ambode will win. How can u compare the both of them, is it in terms of experience or what ? No comparision at all. Agbaje taught that Igbo votes will make him win forgetting that this is Yoruba land. For me he can wait till 2023 or better still go back to APC and plead that he will be their candidate come 2023.

Sai Ambode
Sai APC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

True Lagosians have spoken loud and clear. I'm glad that Lagos did not fall into the hands of evil PDP
There was no way in the world a disorganized fragmented criminalized incompetent visionless mediocre party like PDP will win governorship elections in a sophisticated Yoruba state like Lagos. Even when PDP had federal power for over a decade, they couldn't accomplish this feat, not to mention now that Jonathan (God bless his soul for this singular act) whether through incompetence or otherwise has successfully destroyed the PDP party on the federal level and reduced it to political thrash.

In this new democratic dispensation, close to two decades, Lagos State has been politically at odds with the Federal government, and so in a way had been antagonized and deprived of certain things that would have further contributed to the progress and development of Lagos State as a whole. And this was the part of the CHANGE all "true Lagosians" and other inhabitants that mean well and have the interest of the progress and development of Lagos State at heart wanted, irrespective of tribe, social and economic affiliations. But of course, then you always have the haters who hate Lagos State so much because it's a Yoruba land but they can't never can quit wanting to live and benefit from the economic opportunities, and other benefits Lagos state has to offer and they are immensely benefiting from. All the Yoruba haters in Lagos and haters of Lagos State can now go have their Lagoon party that they have been arrogantly boasting about with sordid stupidity; and please pay your merriment taxes to your amiable hosts while you're at it angry.

Some people just think through their anu$, whether because of hate, over-zealous tribalism or God knows what. Let's be reasonable here. If you are an employer (which in fact the Lagos state electorates are), pragmatically considering the political CVs of both Agbaje and Ambode, who would you employ? Ambode of course! Yet some people were senselessly ranting over social media JK is Ok...JK we know...blah blah blah undecided. Well JK doesn't know you. FOOLS angry . All the enemies of Lagos State have been shamed cool. The OPC is politically inclined to the PDP because the ACN/APC have been strategically and methodically putting them on a shorter and shorter leash in Yoruba societies through the years. What a great job! Now that PDP has lost, expect that the hungry political dogs will be unleashed on you Lagos State haters by the same PDP fragments that you voted for, and APC will just be watching the film in 3D.

Hopefully this will give him time to face Jayy Kee and contribute his bit to Lagos development in other ways.

Amazo u re not a good history student, I hate discussing all dz civil war stuffs coz I ve put it behind me long ago... d only wrong igbos eva did to other tribes is move into there region, and d moment der numbers begin to increase they begin to see us as a threat, someone said earlier dat if d fulanis held dz much numbers as igbos have in Lagos, and they have not being able to produce a governor by now there wud hv been bloodshed in Lagos, wat do u hv to say abt dat?
Well, let's take Lagos as a case in point. There are considerable populations, albeit huge numbers of other tribes besides ibos, but I can categorically say that no other tribe is nursing (and actually strategizing to accomplish) the ambition of becoming governor in a Yoruba state, except the ibos. Fulanis abound in Lagos, maybe not as much as the ibos, but it's not about population size. It's about having a character that seeks to takeover other people's stuff. It's a wrong attitude. Ibos always want and actually strategize by any possible means to takeover wherever they go, not just in Nigeria. Whether it's politics, business, assets, or what have you in Lagos, ibos want to take over from the hosts. Even population wise isn't spared and you already have ibos carelessly boasting that they will have the largest population in Lagos. And all these acts are not for mere decoration. They're actually calculated acts and a means to a very specific end or goal. No tribe sees ibos as a threat because of numbers, but because of character being exhibited. Just like Arab Muslims in developed countries, the hosts don't see them as a threat because of their population size because there are other nationalities with larger sizes present. Rather they are seen as a threat because of how they behave and what they are known to do. Many Asian countries like Indonesia weren't originally Muslim countries. They were countries that were Buddhist, the Muslims were immigrants, but gradually they took over and later converted it to a Muslim country and imposed their will and culture on the original hosts. After seeing that this is a "trend" with Arab Muslims, most hosts are wary to have them around. Can we blame them? Of course not. Same principle applies to ibos. Hitler wanted to take over Europe and then the rest of the world, simply because he had the ideology and mindset that the Germans were socially, mentally and biologically superior to other races. He sold his ideology to the German people and they bought it; and the whole of Germany set out to conquer the world, Europe first and others continents would follow. Whether consciously or unconsciously remains debatable but the ibos kind of have this trait too: the idea that they are superior to other tribes in Nigeria and it drives their acts. Hence you find it that ibos subtly have contempt towards other tribes and subconsciously look down on others and treat them with disdain in their faces, if the political, economic and social landscape tilts in their favor. But if it doesn't, then the ibos will tolerate them and play along, yet complaining and ranting against them behind their backs. So it's no wonder other tribes have mistrust towards ibos. The earlier the tribes face reality and issues like this are discussed and everyone can act real (no hiding or pretending) to state what they like and dislike and people find a common ground to forge ahead in peace and have mutual understanding about what kind of behavior is acceptable and unacceptable, then tribalism will continue to significantly limit the progress of Nigeria as a nation.

wat u re trying to say now is dat Igbos didn't use to travel until after d civil war?... as for d rest it's too long to read not to talk of reply.
It's not my problem if you can't or won't read. There are others out there who can and will read. I'm not writing this because of you. I don't know you and probably never will. I'm writing it for those ibos out there who have been brainwashed from childhood that other tribes are their enemies and should be treated as enemies. I'm writing to let them know that it's untrue. Other tribes are not the enemies of the ibos, but in a sense of it, the ibos are their own enemies because even though ibos are the greatest propagators of their progress, they have also been the major obstacle to their own progress as a people. Also, interpret it however you like. I'm responsible for my statement but i'm not responsible for how you think. What i'm certain of is that any smart people with a proper frame of mind won't find it difficult to understand the true meaning of my words.

You're funny in a way grin ! Let me break it down for you with a bit of history. Between 1967 - 1970 there was a civil war in Nigeria that devastated the ibo tribe, left your lands in ruins, and paralyzed economically and politically. In order to survive the harsh realities being experienced, ibos had no choice but to migrate to other more economically vibrant, peaceful and flourishing states in Nigeria. And this was the genesis of ibo migrations to the Southwest and North. So truth is they were forced to move as a result of the anguish the SE was experiencing then, so they could survive and grow. Fast forward, they did survive and grow but unfortunately they carried the hate for the Yorubas and Hausas with them. And the hate remained buried, and kept secret howbeit temporarily till they could stand on their feet again as a people after a most gruesomely humiliating and humbling knockout defeat. They didn't bring money or properties to the southwest or North; rather they came to make money and make a life. Well, they did: through education, through trading, through crime, through whatever was necessary to become strong again as a people. This is nice. But the problem is, the hatred didn't go away, rather as the ibos grew stronger post-civil-war era, so also the hate and it gradually became an open secret. And some of the ibos even somehow nursed the idea of possible revenge in the future. Later they became accustomed to their host lands, and seeing how quick they were able to recover and thrive economically in these regions, most chose to stay and settle in these places. They bought houses, raised families, built businesses (actually mostly took over many businesses being run previously by their hosts, and usually through malicious practices) and gradually began to spread both population wise and geographically in the host regions. Still at this point nursing hate in their hearts for other tribes (who mainly are now their hosts) and waiting for the time the opportunity to explode and unleash the hate will come. The hosts on the other hand received them well to a large extent, partly because it was their culture to be nice to visitors and partly because of probably trying to appease their conscience as to the civil war that had a horrific toll on the ibos. So the ibos didn't build properties and make investments because they liked their hosts. It's because they had no other choice, and there was no other way. This was the best option towards social, economic and political recovery as a people. It was a well calculated decision.

Now, fast forward to the present, i'll reiterate again, this is not 1967 anymore. We're in 2015. Let go of the hate for other tribes.

igbos are not embracing other tribes, igbos have been living peacefully in Lagos, they debt wake up one day and start talking rubbish, they go abt der business peacefully without looking for trouble until sm Oba comes up and starts looking for who to throw into d Lagoon and u say Igbo's re trouble makers... patriotic indeed.
Let's not deceive ourselves, the trouble fomenting currently isn't about the Oba of Lagos alleged statement. Even if it's true what is claimed that the Oba of Lagos said, how in the world can the Oba make millions of people drown in the lagoon in 7 days just like that, how? Does it make sense to you? But Ibos in this case don't care about being logical; rather they are more interested in seizing the opportunity to attack the Yorubas that they have openly and secretly hated since the incidence of civil war. Like I said before, this isn't 1967 anymore. This is 2015. The ibos should let go of the inner subconscious hate already. The war is over. Other tribes are not your enemies, quit seeing them that way and competing against them that way. The rest of Nigeria has long moved beyond the incidence of the last civil war, the ibos should too.

4) do a survey of oil staffs and discover d tribe who mk up d majority...

Maybe it's because lots of ibos are more interested in trading and many have become trading juggernauts. Maybe ibos are interested in globetrotting too and that's probably why they are found in many places around the world. Now are you going to blame other tribes for this too? Because it seems the more convenient and usual thing for ibos to do when on the contrary, the results you're experiencing is as a result of your own choices as a people.

Moreover, like I said stop living in the past. This is now a democratic dispensation, we're no longer in the military era. Even during that military era, ibos made political miscalculations and it cost dearly. Just barely over a decade in the new democratic dispensation, the ibos are already making another series of political miscalculations that will also have consequences. The ibos really need to stop shooting yourselves in the foot. Let's all progress together as a loving nation.

Unlike you that chooses to live in denial, i'm very realistic! Considering it generates about 85% of Nigeria's revenue earnings, it's only logical to unapologetically say yes, the rest of Nigeria wants SS oil. It's an undeniable fact. But this doesn't imply that other tribes hate the SS people, because they don't and the SS still remains an integral part of Nigeria, and under its sovereignty. Tomorrow, should oil be $1 per barrel and the oil in the SS region can no longer bear Nigeria's financial needs and function as the nation's breadwinner as it were, which ever region of Nigeria the buck is passed to, to have its resources sustain the nation will have to perform excellently well just like the SS have been performing, and the Nigerian nation is eternally grateful to the SS for having contributed its quota to the nation's development. Everything isn't perfect yet, but the nation is moving forward, and the ibos had better evolve and embrace other Nigerian tribes or be left behind.

Point of correction, I have no tribe; i'm a patriotic Nigerian. Ibos can claim the SS all you want, but the SS remains a complete separate entity with different ethnicities and unique cultures. Keep watching, so you can learn something useful, especially inter-tribal relations because it's obvious ibos really have a hard time getting along with other tribes. You only tolerate other tribes when something of economic value is at stake and you stand to lose big if you don't tolerate them. Stop tolerating other tribes and start showing love. The civil war is long over. This isn't 1967 anymore. It's 2015 for God's sake! Stop the blind hate towards other tribes and spread the love.

Let's be frank, what else do ibos want from the SS if not the oil in their lands? Isn't that what the rest of Nigeria wants from the SS, so what in the world makes the ibos any different? But then again, you're free to continue living in denial. Maybe it's the fish in the SS rivers you want to protect. But one thing i'm certain of is the SS aren't fools, and sure do they play politics better than the ibos and that was why they have already achieved Presidency in the new democratic dispensation in Nigeria, something that will continue to elude the ibos if they continue in the path of political miscalculations they made for themselves. Ibos can call Jonathan Azikwe all they want from now till the end of the world, but it can never change the truth about Jonathan's tribe. The ss/se are now wiser than b4.
Hahahahahahaha grin this is so funny! It's very interesting how the ibos can't SEE THE OBVIOUS. The reality is you ibos are now officially on your own - OYO. Whatever bond existed between you and the yorubas and Hausas have been considerably damaged as a result of the usual political miscalculations of the ibos themselves. Ibos deliberately alienated the Hausas and Yorubas, thinking their alliance with the SS was and is enough to expand their political clout and further their interests as a people. But the ibos have failed yet again. But what they don't realize is that even the SS are wary of ibos, and truth be told they don't like you guys, just as truth be told ibos don't like them too. It's a case of a friendship born out of necessity to achieve eachother's political goal. And both the SE and SS are using eachother as pawns to gain political ascendancy in Nigeria. What's the goal of the ibos? Maybe a Biafra country that includes the SS and its resources. Will the SS agree to such? Never! Not in a billion years. But they are just playing along for now because they need the ibos to achieve their own goal and you guys have fallen for it hook, line and sinker. What's the goal of the SS? To have their own independent country and have 100% resource control. That's what all the militancy is really about, and it's all a means to an end. Will the SS allow ibos to be part of their independent state should they attain sovereignty? No, never! The SS will remain on their own, indivisible and united against any ibo intrusion on their land's resources. The SS need the ibos to attain sovereignty as far as Nigeria's current political landscape is concerned, and should they achieve it, the ibos will speedily be dumped like thrash into the dumptruck. But somehow, the ibos are so blind and don't see this and keep claiming to have some magical bond of friendship with the SS. It will later dawn on ibos that it's nothing but a charade. Keep fooling yourselves and if/when the time comes and the SS becomes sovereign, let's see if the likes of Asari Dokubo will let you ibos have joint ownership and lay claim to touch one drop of oil in SS territories grin. The SS you're banking on will drop the ibos faster than gravity after they have used you to accomplish their mission. The only reason they have seemed to give one Nigeria a chance is because the GEJ administration gave them freehand to access the government loots of the resources on their land. By the time Buhari's administration starts blocking these corruption loopholes, the struggle for SS sovereignty will be re-ignited and yes, the ibos are the pawns they will use to try achieve this. SS only cares about increased derivation formula to their states and more (or total) resource control, they don't give a fück about ibos or nobody else. Anybody who will help the SS achieve this is their friend and brother, howbeit temporal.

This open support of a candidates who's not one of yours will only turn against you because you failed to learn from the mistakes our fathers made were busy fighting for the right of others.

Igbos why do we always throw ourselves in the midst, why do we always like to court attention when our interests are not there, why do we like to behave like "Agwunsi" that is a professional roofer but dwells in a house with leaking roof.

Obi Ezekwesili is busy shouting bringbacktheir girls yet nobody gave a fucck when Biafran kids were dying, when Osisikankwu kidnapped school children in Aba nobody hashtageed for us because it was Igbothing so let them sort out themselves.

-

Why can't you vote your candidate without making it an open secret knowing fully well the type of people your dealing with.

Please let's assume formlessness in all our affairs, please let's stop fighting other people's battles because Nigeria is a place where truth is disdained and falsehood celebrated.

We tend to rub everything on the faces of our opponents which I don't consider healthy, we always tend to promote equality in the land that champion inequality base on tribal and religious sentiments.

Agbaje is a not an Igboman but his people have started putting the Igbo label on his to paint him and by extension entire Igbos black because most of us are making show of our support of him yet he is not one of us.

During the last presidential election, the North voting pattern was similar to those of SE and SS yet the Vultures leave the North and SS and label us tribalists.

The vultures are always the tools use to disorganize here in the South yet whenever there is a quarrel between them and their friends in north an Igboman will go and buy the case wholesale.

This our support of others might likely turn out the way Emeka Ojukwu freed someone from the Calabar prison thinking he was establishing friendship not knowing he was digging his grave.

During Yar Adua saga, it was only Dora Akunyili that stood her ground and tell the world what they needed to hear when everybody in Yar Adua's kitchen cabinet was avoiding the press like ebola carriers, what happened later while the Vultures dodged from the implications the feudal North was pitched against the Igbos because Dora was very vocal and stood her ground to see justice happen when others were speaking tongue in check, few years later the Vultures started claiming they made Jonathan presidency because they organised protests at Ojota.

Please let nobody fight for anybody and let nobody fight for anybody outside his interest, Nigeria is all about tribe and ethnicity and our effort to champion equity, fairness and equality among the federating units is now pitching us against the Vultures and those they are protecting their interests.

During the Unity College admission we were discriminated against with high marks, the vultures and the neighbors we considered part of us didn't condemn it because they don't want to ruffle any feather and we carried our cross.

We see how everybody in South is shouting regional government when Jonathan was around but immediately he lost the election all the regional crusaders dodge while we keep beating it, will regional government benefit us only, will true federalism benefit us only but the entire South that are likely to benefit from it are no longer interested because the Vultures have gotten position that benefit them individually and abandoned the course we were pursuing collectively. Now shout regional government and the Vultures will tell you your claiming South South oil.

Last week Gowon said Ojukwu caused the war when some useless department in COOU call him to deliver speech, yet igbos will be going about condemning Fulanis for making Plateau the valley and shadow of death. Did anybody call Gowon to order after the statement.

This week Danjuma didn't talk about Fulanis that were killing people in his village but he reminded Jonathan that Emeka Ojukwu inability to concede defeat caused the civilwar so at this junction woe betide any igboman that reach out or condemned any Fulani attack anywhere outside Igboland. Did any ethnic group criticize him for saying that rather the Vultures were here defending him for the statement.

During MKO Abiola it was an igboman that risk his life to declare him the winner in the face of impending calamity and military brutality, but what happened the Vultures absolved the evil genius who cancelled the election and started blaming Igbos despite that when the selfstyled president declared himself winner it was two Igbomen that were there in the podium with him to raise his hands, Bobo Nwosisi and Ralph Obioha yet the Vultures blame Arthur Nzeribe for the crime and forget IBB that nulled the election.

Jimi Agbaje is not an Igboman, our open support of him will likely hurt us in near future because we haven't learn any lesson from the mistakes our fathers, we are repeating the same mistake again, we should be smarter than this, we should stop being to open as it concern other tribe when a matter of national importance is being discuss.

Ndigbo defend nobody whether from South or North, be yourselves, fight nobody's war and avoid stepping on the wrong foot. Nigeria is not one and will never be, this place is a battleground for ethnic and tribal gladiators while the Vultures wait in the corners to feast on the carcass.

Let nobody feast on your deadboby.

And it was proven when the Lagos was almost split 50%-50% between APC/PDP largely because the Igbos wanted to disrupt power in Lagos. The king only had the guts to say it out. Now I have no words for the Igbos, their actions do not surprise me, they dominate and seek to control and take over where ever they settle, they and the Fulanis have that in common - we all should know that by now, what surprises me is the way the omo oni le in lagos sit back, smile and stupidly watch as Igbos take over Lagos. Ohh yes and they are doing that. Sey 2015 elections might still get a Yoruba Governor, 2019 yiou will all be amazed that Indigbo would win lagos. JUst sit there smile and do nothing o. The Igbos would daze you, you know yorubas like to talk a lot, something that no one can even dream of in Igbo land, they so here without any remorse and all you do is smile and talk big grammer. We the yoruba outside of lagos would come and rescue you when they have almost finished you. Make no mistakes, igbos know exactly what tey want in lagos, its the yorubas that like to act like big brothers.. Keep it up. shey e ti gbo.
It's already very clear to the leaders of Yoruba lands and Hausa lands; and after these elections I suppose there likely will be hell to pay both on the federal and state levels. The political structure and fabric of this nation will likely be permanently changed in a way that will be colossally disadvantageous to the SE. Already, PDP has been shamefully reduced from an almost invincible national party to a fragmented SE (+ SS) party so to speak. Because it's perhaps reasonable to assume that the other minority tribes still remaining in the PDP will also be alienated from that party in a matter of time.

What we might experience in years to come is the SE + SS splitting out of Nigeria. Even if this were to be the case, the ibos will still be the ultimate losers because that is when the pretentious fraternity with the SS will end because then the SS will make it clear they are not ibos or brothers to the ibos but independent tribes of their own. The SS will never allow ibos an inch near their lands to access the oil. Unless it can be magically transported through thin air, the billions-of-nairas-worth of assets ibos possess in the south west will largely be forfeited and re-claimed through Yoruba militias like the OPC. Same thing will happen in the North. If all the ibos returned back to their various indigenous states in the SE, even they wouldn't get along because somehow they always want to dominate themselves and this will lead to crisis. Generally ibos are arrogant and lack moral respect. Age means nothing to them. They only respect money, and so only respect themselves and others according to the money they possess. So ultimately, in a divided Nigeria, ibos have few to gain and plenty to lose. For their sake, I hope Nigeria doesn't divide. The SS has a lot to gain in terms of having 100% resource control if they were to become independent states. And if that were to happen, I can bet my money on it that the first thing they will do is probably drive out the ibos from their lands because the SS will never agree to be part of the so-called Biafra republic the ibos dream of. The SS will choose to remain independent states of their own, so that the ibos won't later label their territories a no man's land and then try to take over it with subtlety.

The civil war that happened is long over but the hate still lives on in the minds of the majority of ibos. It's time to drop the hate and forge ahead and embrace other tribes. That's part of the change we want, so we can build a better Nigeria. Nigerians loves the ibos and Nigeria needs the ibos just as much as the ibos needs Nigeria and I think it's time ibos start loving other Nigerians. Because right now all the majority of ibos do is "tolerate" other tribes, especially because they aren't the majority and they are in lands belonging to those other tribes. There's no love.

Yes!!! The names we bear really speaks for us. PDP chose POWER while APC chose CHANGE.

In the end, CHANGE changed POWER.

GMB becomes President-elect, AMB rhymes with it, so AMBode will definitely win.

Jona and Jimi go with each other. They both will definitely lose.

Obasanjo and Osinbajo goes together, Obj is never a loser; Osinbajo followed same path

Aregbesola and Fashola goes together, they both succeeded in transforming their respective states where they came from.

Fayose and Fani Kayode goes together. They are impeachment candidates.

Rochas and Okocha and Nkwocha sounds alike. They are all achievers and skillful.

Ideye and Ebele sounds somehow. Make I nor tok abeg grin

RUBBISH!!!!! arrant nonsense!!!! angry
These Yoruba ppl are so selfish and pompous!

If not that Lagos was once the capital of Nigeria, It would have been a local minor state like every other state in this country!!
This discrimination towards Igbo people by yorubas is getting out of hand!
for starters, why on earth should that useless oba threaten igbos in Lagos?? Are we not free to vote whoever we want?? That oba and his supporters are sent to destroy the peace of this country!

What I really wanna understand is what exactly did Igbo ppl do to this manhuh
This inhumane discrimination has been going on for a long time! As long as u are a citizen of Nigeria, u have every right to settle down wherever u want in Nigeria.

we don't discriminate against any tribe in igboland, so why should they? In case they didn't know, igbos also took part in developing Lagos. Igbos are the most hardworking ppl in Nigeria(and I'm not saying that bkus I'm Igbo, its the fvcking truth. just like everybody knows Yorubas like education and parties)

for Pete's sake, we are the same ppl, human beings. just like someone said, tribes are just created to give power, it doesn't differentiate u from others.

#peace! angry
What do you call someone who has her pictures and info floating around public social media and calling the Oba of Lagos useless? A fool angry. I pity you. By the time they concoct a strong voodoo on that your ok-face-but-tiny-boobs-flat-ass thin body, you will cultivate sense by force grin. Even God will ignore you in your predicament because he didn't send you to go and be insulting the king, and not just any king, but the Oba of Lagos that all the known and unknown hierarchy of witches, wizards, sorcerers and pagan adherents in the land proudly call their king, are loyal to, serve and will do anything for. You claim Yorubas are discriminating against ibos, yet, arguably, practically every ibo man's dream is to live in Lagos, which is and always will be a Yoruba land. If they were so discriminating, then the numbers of ibos in their lands shouldn't be so much. But the opposite is the case, so by logic alone, your claim is false. Heck probably half the population of the ibo tribe are already in Yoruba land, half of the remaining half are in Hausa land, and that leaves the remaining halved half in ibo land and neighboring territories, of which 60% of them are already strategizing to move to Yoruba and Hausa lands to join their brethren. You know what the problem is: hate. The average ibo person has deep hatred for other tribes, because they were the predominant casualties of the Nigerian civil war, which of course is another debate as to what was the cause. Somehow, ibo parents of old have programmed their children to have unjustifiable hate for other tribes and it just never ends does it? The only set of ibos who don't have such hate in them usually are those who were born and raised outside of ibo land and among the other tribes that their people hate so much. From what you just wrote, i can infer you're in your early twenties and obviously do not know much about history as yet or maybe you were taught from a skewed perspective. Lagos was already a thriving and incredibly productive state before it became the federal capital. Becoming the federal capital was only befitting for it. Same thing about those claiming that ibo came to develop lagos. That's erroneous, Yoruba already developed their state, and of course development is a progressive thing, and it will and is meant to continue to get better, and for the records, 95% of ibos that migrated to Lagos didn't bring money to lagos, rather they came to make money from an already commercially and economically thriving Lagos. Except for maybe importation of fake drugs and other fake items, most of the trade businesses ibos are doing today in Lagos, were once businesses predominantly run by Yoruba traders. Once they took them in, over time, the ibos hijacked the businesses usually by hook or crook, and took over. And that's the problem with ibos, anywhere you go, you just want to take over other people's things, and it's not just in Yoruba land such behavior is exhibited. Even in foreign countries. You guys behave like Arab muslims, who wherever they go, once their population starts to become significant, wants to impose Islam and their own culture on the hosts, and albeit takeover their lands and territory. All of a sudden, after accommodating your kind for many years, Lagos is no-man's land, just imagine the insult. Yet, even this is not enough, some ibos still go further to assert that they will take over Lagos and drive the Yoruba's out, OMG what a joke grin. It is very clear that some people didn't learn from the past civil war. God forbid, but imagine a scenario where there's a tribal war, the question is who loses? Well, the way i see it, ibos have businesses and properties probably worth hundreds of billions of naira, not to mention that probably half their population (the greatest of ibo assets) is in Yoruba land. Yorubas, on the other hand, probably have businesses and assets in ibo land worth several millions and a population that is quite insignificant in relative terms. So imagine if there's war, i'm sure the ibos will have to search and search before they can find one yoruba man to kill, a yoruba house to burn, a yoruba girl to r.ape, and the other terrible acts that are unfortunately inseparable from war. But ibos aren't hard to find in yoruba land, heck they are everywhere like houseflies; same thing with ibo properties and businesses. Now tell me, by the time the war starts in Yoruba land, the economic, material and human loss to the ibos will be sadly unquantifiable. Do you know how many criminal die-hard elements within the yoruba kingdom are praying for this scenario to happen, just so they actualize their dream to recover lands, businesses, and what have you that they believe is theirs and their fathers betrayed the yoruba land for trading it to the ibos? Do you think organizations like OPC exist for decoration? Do you think the palaces are happy that the ibos are beginning to have a voice, albeit a very arrogant one, within their territories? You guys just don't see beyond your nose. Keep playing the script and fan the flames of tribal war till the fire burns out of control and let's see who will lose out in the end. I'm pretty much guessing the amount of time spent before you can find one yoruba man in the whole of Onitsha, you would have found 1000 ibos in Idumota alone. MASSOB warriors will probably have to convert the hausas to yorubas to make up for the victims they want to attack grin. The Oba of Lagos said what he said, people who have the capacity to rebuke him have done so, what is you people's headache again? The thing is ibos hate yorubas and will always jump at whatever opportunity they have to show it, and the issue of the Oba's statement is just what they see as an opportunity to express the inner hatred in their hearts, so ibos just won't let the chance pass. For the record, i've been with many tribes in Nigeria and the ibos are the most discriminating, the most unaccommodating, they always keep other tribes apart from them, and always endlessly talk shiiit about other tribes, never seeing anything good about them because they are blinded by their hate, and this hate has been and still is the greatest obstacle to their progress as a people. Of course there are exceptions and they are mostly the ibos born and bred outside of ibo lands and were not nurtured to hate other tribes just because they aren't ibos like them. Like i said before, the ibos are just very similar in character to the arab muslims. Whenever you see ibos among other tribes, they collectively hate on those other tribes; but when there are no other tribes around to hate on, then they hate on themselves, which is what you see happening in the south east. Same thing the arab muslims, when they are among other religions, they collectively hate on those other religions but when there are no other religions to hate on, they hate on themselves. Just look at certain arab-muslim countries of the middle-east, after killing people of other religions and there are none left to kill, they have since being killing themselves. As for the ibos who think they can take over any land in yoruba territory, keep on dreaming grin. As far as the Lagos State elections go, Ambode will win with or without the votes of the ibos, and this is politics, there will surely be economic rewards or consequences either way for the ibos by the government who carries the day. Everyone is free to vote whoever they want. Allegedly, the Oba of Lagos said people who don't vote Ambode will have a lagoon experience in 7 days grin, since ibos claim the oba isn't God and rightly so he isn't God and can never be God undecided, then why not just dismiss such a statement as a an impossible joke, why all the fear, hatred and endless tirade against the yoruba people again angry? Oh btw, i have no tribe. I am simply a patriotic Nigerian cool

NB: i have no bias or hate towards the ibo people. For the records, overall ibos are industrious, resilient, funny and possess other admirable qualities; however, the hate is the problem and it has to stop now.

Ok I have a dilemma. I have been talking to this guy for a month now and we real got on. He told me all the things I need to hear and I told him how I felt. Now we live in two different cities so for our first date he came to my city. We've been talking every night on the phone so we really bonded. He came down and our chemistry was on 100%. I did my rituals all fresh and proper thinking me and him was gonna do the blessing of our new relationship (sex). Anyway come night time we're in bed just cuddling and kissing and I'm hot and he's hard but.... He tells me he really likes me and he wants to get to know me so we can't have sex because it's our first date. I asked him if he meant all those things he said and he replied "yes! but I want us to have at least five dates"wtf!!!

People please help me. Could he be serious and he wants to take things slowly or is he just not into me. Or maybe he has issues in the bedroom department. I laugh nervously because NO man has ever said no to me in bed so.... what do you think happened. I really need the men's honest opinion.
All I can say is you're lucky it wasn't me. Your topic would have been, 'Help me, I couldn't walk straight after sex, does he want to kill me?' grin

When dealing with a woman, to be successful at it, you must have what I call a "mirror attitude". In other words, treat her how she treats you. Let your actions be a reflection of her actions. If she's nice to you, be nice to her only to the extent of the nicety she has shown; if she treats you like shiit, treat her like "ebola" grin ...should have caught my point by now. Can't speak for anyone else, but it always works for me.

Sorry I don't and can't see from the perspective of an iidiot with an idiosyncratic Jurassic idiocy grin . The question is pretty straightforward: is the cat going up or down? You said "up", which irrespective of perspective or reference frame is totally WRONG; but you tried to justify it with concocted senseless jargon, and tried to justify that by claiming to be a physicist in order to pass off your folly as being unquestionable. Even without any solid background in science, any average John Doe would know the right answer is DOWN. Common sense alone dictates that a cat's tail can never be up above its head if it's going up a stairs. You obviously never handled a cat before. Why don't you find a cat and put this to test so you can feed your brain with more intelligence. Don't be ignorant and stuupid at the same time. Pick a struggle!
