Cc: Mynd44, Lalasticlala, frontpage please for more visibility. Let us all support Adadike while we still can. |
Kenneth4u205:No, he didn't lie. He said he was the convener of a Muslim-Christian Forum for preaching peace and religious tolerance. He has actually done so much in preaching religious harmony than many of your so-called clergymen. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2021/04/coalition-of-christians-and-muslim-set-to-host-fulani-national-peace-summit/amp/

Till this day, Tinubu's name is on the hall of fame at Richard Daley College Illinois as an outstanding alumni. The man is a whizkid in Mathematics and accounting. I urge all neutrals to take the time to read the story of Jagaban in this exclusive interview granted by the Mathematical Shege himself a while ago. You wouldn't necessarily like him but you will respect his ingenuity. https://pmnewsnigeria.com/2012/04/03/tinubu-my-life-my-story/

Good morning house. I am a novice in inverter matters and I intend to get one soon. I need advise and guidance please. Someone is offering a few months used hybrid 2.4kva De-bull inverter with 2 (telecom) batteries to me at 400k. Is this a good buy in terms of product and value for money? Or is it overpriced? If so, can anyone recommend a better and cheaper deal? I currently stay in an area where light supply is extremely poor (less than 3 hours a day). My appliances are just basic for now but I need something with good battery backup. Thanks. |

Kobicove:Co-asking. They expect us to believe that a Nigerian mother of a 32 year old son who just died will prefer not to name her son and rather remain anonymous because she fears for her life. That's very unNigerian. Families of vctims of extra judicial killings in Nigeria are well known in Nigeria and some of them turned up at the Lagos panel and were well compensated. What makes Lekki Toll Gate different? It's been one whole year for that matter!. She must have been residing around Lekki too to have made it just in time to the tollgate to watch her son die. We all know there was a curfew and cars and motorcycles were not allowed to move. From whence did Adesola ( not real name) "hire a motorcycle and raced to the scene"? Some vested interests are really desperate to sell the narrative of a massacre but they aren't even doing it right. |
Mynd44:Very weird. The same way threatening IPOB is equivalent to threatening the Igbos and criticizing an Obi Cubana is hatred for the Igbos. The group-think and victimhood mentality is depressing, to be honest. |
Ournolly:So the rightness or wrongness of a tweet is determined by the number of people that reports it and not by its true face value? That means Twitter is just a space for bullying as we all know social media presence is skewed in favor of a particular demographic in Nigeria. If they all galvanize to always report enmass, any tweet of the President especially as we know they have no love for him, is it justified for Twitter to continue to delete his tweet? If Twitter has the power to delete a tweet because they can, Nigeria also has the right to ban Twitter if it deems it to have interfered in its affairs. Some social media platforms like ko* are not available in the US, is that a violation of free speech? It is neocolonialism to suggest that banning Twitter is a violation of free speech when Twitter is just another app! |
lexy2014:Revenue via targeted advertisements. Twitter makes money from companies who advertise on their platform. When you use a VPN, you're not technically in Nigeria so you only see adverts meant for whatever "country" you're tweeting from. This is useless to companies who patronize Twitter mainly to direct ads at Nigerian users. Twitter were the biggest losers because Nigerians didn't stop tweeting, but they stopped generating revenue from Nigerian traffic. Hence, why they had to eat the humble pie. |
If Abba Kyari truly sent him those 2 pictures of himself in native attires, does it not at least give credence to his narrative that Hushpuppi admired and wanted some of his attires? What else could be the reason for sending him his pictures? |

edoairways:Of course his constituency will never complain and there lies the problem. They will rather complain about the leaders from other constituencies in the Southwest and North while their own region is fast descending into a pigsty. Ikpeazu and co are godsent in their eyes whereas Sanwo Olu and Elrufai are devils. You ever wonder why no one trusts them or takes them seriously? |
Antoeni:It is not the job of government to create jobs. Governments are only saddled with the responsibility of creating an enabling environment for investors to come in and create jobs. Building infrastructure is part of creating such environment. He is only doing what he is supposed to do. This socialist mindset must be done away with for Africa to see real growth. |
tolexy123:Coward! Why not join the Army and show us how brave you are? The people in the Army are humans like you, if you feel you can do better, sign up. No one owes you anything. |
I doubt this writeup is from Chimamanda. Apart from being below the standards of her penmanship, it reeks of bigotry and bias. No, the article cannot be from Chimamanda. |
colorsofrainbow:Funny how since 1999, the Hausa/Fulani had only ruled for 2 years under Yar'adua until the coming of Buhari. Where exactly were the talks of fulanization then? The North will complete its eight years after which power naturally returns to the South. No sincere northerner is interested in voting another Northerner in 2023 but the north will play an important part in deciding who succeeds Buhari from the South. It is the PDP who are falling over themselves to present a northern candidate in 2023 thinking that will sway the North to vote their "own", but that is not the way of the North. |
Link to video below. Very graphic!. IPOB will be worse than Boko haram. They label someone a Saboteur and proceed to deliver instant jungle justice at the spot. Is that how Biafra will be run under Nnamdi Kanu? This is the result of hate speech being propagated on Radio Biafra for 6 years non-stop. The average youth in the Southeast who are mostly uneducated are now dangerously radicalized. https://www.nairaland.com/6633810/esn-cut-off-mans-preek |
Here is the link to the video on Twitter. Notice the minimal number of likes and retweets. Maybe IPOB sympathizers that abound on Twitter are ashamed. Hypocrisy! https://mobile.twitter.com/maziuba1/status/1411364810290348038 |
Fake news. Even the margins on the picture show that it was superimposed. By the way, who uploads 5000 pictures on Facebook at a stretch? |
So the Igbos had to send many of their youths to early graves and plunge their region into tumoil just to get Buhari to discuss with their leaders? Is that what we are celebrating on this thread? Would the discussion end up with Buhari agreeing that Southeast secedes? What concessions do you honestly expect from the discussion that Buhari has not already made to the Southeast. It is just an opportunity for the Southeast to save face. |
realstars:Our region? Anyway, you forgot to mention that APC won convincingly in Bayelsa. You also forget that the current governor of Imo is APC, as was the past one. How about Edo before the defection? More governors from the East will decamp. There is no "this people" or "our region", there is only you and your delusion. |
chisky02:His people withdrew him from the Senate when he stood unopposed to become the Senate President, simply because he joined APC. Then turned around to accuse Buhari of nepotism and marginalization. What could be more politically naïve than that? The Southeast has always had morbid hatred for Buhari and his party, and they transfer this hatred to whomsoever aligns with him or the party even if from their region, but they demand the world from him in an arrogantly entitled manner. |
Mynd44, this thread is frontpage worthy. Source is today on Daily Trust. https://dailytrust.com/secession-ngige-breaks-silence-says-elite-causing-chaos-in-south-east |
Commentor:Exactly. Any appointment to the Northeast, Northwest or even North Central is termed "Northerner" but we want to segregate the South into Southeast, Southwest and South South seperately, is that fair? Yes, the North are more homogeneous due to similar culture, languages and to a little extent, religion, but is that the fault of Buhari? Why can't the South unite as well so an appointee from any of these zones will be called "Southerner"? In his recent statement, Buhari asked if anyone has been able to prove that he hasn't fulfilled all the statutory appointments to all zones as stipulated by the constitution, no one has been able to dispute that till date. Just emotions and hatred. Has Buhari not done more for the East in terms of projects than Jonathan/PDP ever did? Facts are sacred! |
Kuceeh:By inclusive, you mean more political appointments right?. Because it is on record that Buhari has done and is currently doing more for the Southeast than Jonathan/PDP ever did. But of course, Jonathan was inclusive enough for you because he appointed more of your sons and daughters into positions even though that never translated into any meaningful development for the populace. Anyway, Buhari will be gone in 2023 but these guns in the hands of these brainwashed youths aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Pray to not be a victim of what you cheer on today. Hate is one hell of a drug! |
The failure of the Southeast to draw a clear line between IPOB and Igbos is a fatal mistake. Buhari threatens to deal with UGM committing arson and killing servicemen, the whole Igbo rose up to accuse him of genocide. He refers to IPOB and secessionists as dot in a circle with nowhere to go and the whole Igbo are claiming to be the dot. We see videos of the Eastern populace including mothers hailing the gunmen when they go about killing Policemen but it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth to know that the entire Southeast share the same sentiments. Perhaps that explains why there was no condemnation from opinion leaders in the East until the Army were sent in. This victimhood mentality needs to stop. |
Themainboy22:By this narrative, you give credence to those who claimed the Igbos burnt Lagos during EndSars. |
Kingcalls:Ignorance is a disease. Who looks more bothered between Nigeria and Twitter? Nigerians are still accessing Twitter via VPN, the difference is that Twitter can no longer make revenue from the Nigerian market via targeted advertisements. |
PrinceOfLagos:You wish. These loans are tied to Infrastructure. The Chinese do not release cash. Once the worth of the project is settled and counterpart funding paid, they bring in their engineers and deliver the project. Chinese concessionary loans are the best because they are embezzlement-proof. Nigeria hires a consultant (an Italian firm in this case) to determine that the projects are delivered according to European standards and that's it. Chinese loans also have the least interest rate and higher moratorium (grace period before Nigeria starts paying up). It's no wonder the West are threatened by the Chinese in Africa and are sponsoring a lot of propaganda against them. China is the best thing to have happened to Africa. |
