chamotex:NOOOOOO. |
Please for God's sake, stop making a jest of Kanu. Has he offended any of you personally?. Please respect him for his intelligence in his chosen profession and what he has achieved for Nigeria. Enough is enough. |
platinumnk:Okocha is an Igbowide name. |
Toshman, I can't believe that you do not know what ethnicity Okocha belongs to. Okocha is a name found all over Igboland. In some places it is called Nwokocha, Wokocha, Okorocha, nwocha. They all mean the same thing. The meaning: OKO OR NWOKO OR NWOKE, WOKO MEANS MALE OCHA means purity or immaculate or innocent. Thus OKOCHA means a man pure in heart. @Seun: Next time, post similar questions to the Igbo section on culture forum. Inugo. |
My good friend Beaf. Is the South-south homogenous?. Is Ndigbo not the largest ethnicity in the South-south?. |
Nchara:All those groups are disjointed. |
Nchara:Forget E. Clark, Ndigbo constitute the majority ethnic group in the South-South and they are a force to reckon with. Edwin Clark's Ijoo group of 1.6 million in Bayelsa state, 500,000 in Rivers state and 400,00 in Delta is a no match to Ndigbo in Rivers and Delta states. I still believe that A south-south Igbo should do for me. |
At the moment, Argentina can not beat Nigeria. They might in six months time if there is a change of baton in their coaching crew. |
An Igboman from the south-south will be alright for me. Such a candidate will serve the interest of South-south and south east. |
Brokenbottle88, I do not mean to attack the Yorubas or anybody. I hold a lot of Ogundeles in high esteem. I still feel that KINGSLEY has let that family or any Ogundele family down. Examine your self very well and surely, you will find out that you are a mystical tribalist. Take it or live it, Kingsley has done done himself good. Do not support evil. |
Argentina is not the same as Russia. Guus has done it at the world cup before. |
jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona jona. |

Your age is indirectly proportional to your intelligence. . . .The more you age, the slower you think. What a bell end.
The ugly dockling, you are nearer to the grave than anyone else here. SHAMELESS BRAT. |
mekusxxx:A member of the heartless boy's family is here praising his wrongful act. It's a pity. |
I called you a ninny cos you have the uncanny ability to be dim-witted. What has the names mentioned gotta do with crime? "Most Ogundeles are very good people" makes you sound like a spastic.
grey-haired slowpoke, indirectly you are informing N/Landers that Kingsley Ogundele is your family member. Do not quit supporting evil, you idiot. |
Sauron the beast what do you mean for the second time?. |
You are a useless nincompoop.
What does this idiot mean?. |
@UDEZUE: It shall be well with you. I read all your posts with keen interest. You are one of my heroes here on n/land. merry xmas. |
I do not think that the Nigerian economic woes made the boy in question act likewise. I think fraud runs in his veins and arteries. Gashua awaits him. |
The officials are part of the storyline. But outside WWE, there were real fights for example, Powe Uti vs Kamala in Nigeria. How about that classic bout betwwen Mighty Igor and Ray Apollon of Trinidad and Tobago. This fight was in Lagos Nigeria in 1984 or thereabout. There was also a great duel between Ben lion heart vs Bulldog Browler. Argentina Apollo also fought in Lagos on that day. |
RIP Umaga. In your short life, you made a mark. |
Ndi Igbo unu anwuchule. Unu jekwere uka taa. Otu owula osiri di ndi igbo wu nkem. Ndigbo ka m ga eso ma ona ejeje ma ona alala ndigbo kam ga eso. Yagaziere unu dum. |
With Guus Hidink been linked to Argentina, there will be no stoping them. |
WWE may be make-believe, but fights between Power Uti and Ox Baker were real. |

AJIOTELE: Name of a Benue state woman. When translated in Obowu, it means something I am not prepared to say it here. |
Igbo kwenu, Fake people with fake brain
NAWIRIWEDE: I am sure you will not go into the new year with mischief. |
I look forward to the year 2010 where there will be a warm hanshake across the Niger. By the grace of God, come 2010, the Yorubas will not abuse Ndigbo. In the new year, I pledge to remain non abusive as usual. Godbless you all. |
ah yes, you also contributed your own quota on the issue of Yoruba women once. I believe your exact words were that Yoruba women are unmarriageable so Yoruba males are rushing Igbo women. Make una dey reveal una selves one by one. You also said an Ogun woman begged you to marry her daughter, right? An offer you refused but which probably made you feel special.
No you got it wrong. Perhaps you have forgotten. The Yoruba mother did not beg me to marry her daughter. She only suggested that I may switch over to her second daughter who by then was single instead of befriending her first daughter who was engaged to a man. That is to show that that Ogun mother was not a tribalist. She was ready to welcome a non-yoruba into her family. But I did not accept her suggestion on moral grounds. I look forward to a new year where Yorubas will not insult the Igbo in Nairaland. |
This K. Ogundele of a guy is evil. Most Ogundeles are very good people. I know one sports presenter at Ibadan, I think his name is Feyi Ogundele- a very nice personality. |
The most thing to happen to western Igbo and Rivers Igbo is to unite with their kins in the east. |
