You will usually lose when you have only 1 consistent scorer on a team. Wiggins numbers look good but he is not consistent. Grizzlies were 9th seed last season (1 game behind Portland). GSW were last in the NBA. Pelicans, Kings have better rosters than GSW. The difference is we have SC. That is all.

1) Curry needs to work on being a more defensive presence on his team. I mean, Chris Paul is just 6 ft so size ain't the issue

2) Curry has shown us that he can't carry a team into the play-offs by himself without another superstar. That will hurt his legacy for many years. At least, he is not Kobe.

3) If green can't shoot, I wonder what he is doing earning 20mill a year

4) Bob Myers needs more scrutiny. He keeps getting away with making poor decisions because the memories of Warriors dynasty still lingers. But all that is in the past. Bob Myers has to step up.

5) Getting Kawhi ain't the answer. Even if we move a lot of pieces for him

6) Klay coming back is also not the answer. I don't think he will ever be the same again after two years away from the court. He shouldn't be rushed but should be eased into the team. All of those warriors fans shouting "when Klay comes back, we will at leastget to the conference finals" are deluded.

I don't know if you know how rosters are put together, but SC, Draymond and Klay's contracts meant that we were kinda stuck with the players that we could bring in. We have tested this roster without SC. Draymond was dragged for averaging single digits in all categories. We were multiple games worse than Minnesota, Cleveland to mention just a few. It is not about needing another "superstar". You need a roster setup for a coaches' philosophy or with pieces to complement the best player and the warriors had neither. What does it matter if the G-league players you have can defend, when teams just triple team your best player and force him to pass the ball to them (the same players who cannot score)? That explained the warriors prior to the last 2 months of basketball. SC literally had to average 37 ppg in the last 2 months to drag that team into the 8th seed. If you know another player in NBA history who got triple teamed and still averaged that, put the name here for us to see. Draymond complements SC but not when buckets are needed - that is what Klay is for and voila, Klay has been out for 2 years. I don't know the future enough to be a doomsday prophet but I am pretty sure Klay's claim to fame is not crossovers and dunks but SHOOTING. I will take my chances everyday that his ability to shoot is not tied to his achilles. When he is back, let teams triple team SC so we can test if Klay will break his 3 point shooting record. Till then, I will just keep my emotions in check. For your info, the 8th seed last year was 35-39 in record, this year it was 39-33. Yusuf Nurkic was the only starter in that Portland roster that was injured for most of the season. Dame and CJ averaged 30 and 22 ppg they still lost more games than this GSW team.

Nobody is to say anything, however, winning a one-off game is not the same as playing a best of 7 series. Any team can beat any team in a one-off game but better teams will usually show up after a best of 7. That is not to say we are better than Utah (because we are not) but without their top scorer, I was willing to take my chances.

I would have taken my chances against this Utah team without D Mitch.

AD struggles and the Lakers don't win. Color me perplexed.

That is what I thought. That at least Caruso might get 1 tech and Payne 1 for tossing the ball. But Harrell gets a straight ejection every day.

So the highlighted portion is not true. City offered him a new contract but he was told that he will be a bit part player. He turned it down because he felt he could still be a starter on another team.

Injuries plagued the Warriors all season hence getting players from G-league. What you fail to understand is that even when you are committed to being a troll, you still need to have basic knowledge about basketball so people don't think you just copy and paste from twitter.

Just like I predicted. The Grizzlies basically took a playbook from the Lakers and Kerr had no answer. This is one of the reasons some critics, including myself are hard on Kerr.

Teams basically double/ triple Curry and force the others to beat them and after two games, it is obvious that plan is effective.

Big credit to Ja Morant.. this kid was picked 2nd behind Zion and with a less talented team has made it to the postseason before Zion.

Because Zion's coach is a fraud that is why.

The truth is Klay has missed 2 years of basketball and will most likely never be the same again. It is foolish of hope on a guy that has gone through rough injuries.

Some guys in the GSW aren't NBA material and need to be off-loaded. Green's contract is shit and I wonder why he was paid that much. How can a former all star and NBA champ not contribute shit to offense...The annoying thing is, he won't keep his donkey-mouth shut.

Curry does not need the MVP trophy to prove anything. He has 2. It is more difficult to win a regular season MVP that lasts multiple games than finals MVP that someone can rely on AD all through the rounds and then stat pad in 6 games of the finals to win it. I will only take finals MVP seriously when they factor all a player has done from game 1 of the playoffs to the finals. As for people complaining about contracts and what not, I feel guys are just being emotional. Draymond is an offensive liability but he is by FAR the best defender in the league and the second most intelligent player in basketball (Lebron is marginally better because he can score). I will not blame him for little issues here and there. We were tired yesterday. We just played a gruelling game against the Refs and LAL whilst Memphis coasted against SAS and rested (the scoreline flattered SAS). Also, Klay's contract meant that we are limited to who we could put on the roster. Klay is occupying 30m+ of contract money that could have brought in 3 solid players. I have seen enough to know that we would be better next season. I won't say much about Kerr (he has his own skoi skoi) but there are 13 better rosters than GSWs in the west. Don't let anyone mislead you. All the coaches they praised as geniuses all proved they are all below Kerr. From Nick Nurse to Brad Stevens. Kerr achieved more with his own roster than they did with better rosters and has won more than all other serving coaches not named G.Pop.

They literally drafted 7 players from the G-league to play with him. This roster was 15 wins last season without him. By far, the worst team in the NBA last season. They will be better next season.

Naaaa.. There is a reason the Lakers desperately needed to win this game and that is because they matchup well against the Suns in comparison to the Jazz.
The Jazz have a deep rotation/ bench despite Mitchel’s absence. Infact, Mitchel’s absence means they can play together and move the ball especially during clutch moments.
Mitchell is good but I have always expressed how worried I am about how Mitchel goes ISO, playing Hero ball in the final minutes of games and they ends up losing games.
Anyways, I think he will be ready for the playoffs.

I meant for GSW. Lakers wanted this easier path to the Conference finals. They will do a number on the suns but maybe in 7. They will clobber either of Denver or Portland. They will likely face Kawhi and MV-P in the WCF. But from what I have seen, they have no 3 shot. If the Nets pack the paint, they will beat LAL 4-1.

@A40 and others, u see what I mean? Throughout the game, Curry was doubled and at times tripled. During clutch moments, you can see they were not going to allow Curry beat them and the others failed to step up when he kicked the ball out because of the double/ triple.

An exciting game though but the Lakers had too much fire power and size which they figured out how to use in the 2nd half.

Warriors with some TOs - wiggins was playing hot potato at some point. That Lebron hail mary 3 was huge but that Wes Matthew charge foul. I kant forgive the NBA.
