Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Has Hired A Private Detective To Investigate Me! by Angolobabe(f): 2:11pm On Oct 22, 2008
i think maybe he has suspension of u cheating on him while his abroad and his only trying to frighten u to remain faithful.there is no such thing as private eye in nigeria unless he hires a private person on this.long distance relationship dont work with out trust,so he needs to trust u not invade ur privacy or frighten u .

Family / Re: A Racial-marriage Problem! by Angolobabe(f): 1:15pm On Oct 22, 2008
Yes Leilah,my husband is european and i dont like hearing this kind of story about interracial marriages as they are spoiling the name of other nigerians that are married to white for real.

Leilah:

Hey Angolobabe, did yu marry a white guy?

Family / Re: Ladies Who Hold On To Their Father's Surname In Marriage by Angolobabe(f): 1:03pm On Oct 22, 2008
some married ladies kept there fathers name for benefit purposes,if  there fathers name is well known etc most of my married step-sisters kept my fathers name as it helps them socially and when seeking job, contracts in Nigeria etc.
as for me i took my husbands name after marriage.if i divorce God forbid,i have decided to still keep my married name because i want to have the same surname as my kids.

Hugger:

Are you married
I didn't realise that one has to plan for divorce when planning for marriage. no wonder many marriages by people with these liberal and westernised minds don't work out in the long run- you already have at the back of your mind that you will divorce some day

@hugger,nobody wishes for divorce when married but no body knows tomorrow, anything can happen if its meant to  ,know matter how hard u try to prevent or stop it .
Romance / Re: Rules Of How To Get An Ex Back Necessary? by Angolobabe(f): 9:57am On Oct 22, 2008

Romance / Re: Would U Keep Quiet If Ur Man Still Keeps In Touch With His Ex? by Angolobabe(f): 9:51am On Oct 22, 2008
if they have kids together i will understand ,otherwise not healthy to me but there should be a limit of the friendship to his ex girlfriend and her family.this is something u need to discuss with ur man since u dont feel comfortable with it.

but do know that he choose to be with u not her cos with the kind of friendship they have,if he wanted to be with her he would have.
Family / Re: Sleepless Nights: by Angolobabe(f): 7:58pm On Oct 21, 2008
My husband does not snore, but I would throw a bucket of cold water in his head if he did. At least he would be out of the bed then, and find another place to sleep than my warm and cosy bed ,JUST A JOKE smiley
Family / Re: Perfection - The Wonderful Life of A Good (naija) Wife by Angolobabe(f): 7:48pm On Oct 21, 2008
some of them i agree on but definately not taking off his shoes when he comes home or leting him go out whenever he wants ,partying or having dinners without me,thats licence to cheating.

he cant come home late for dinner without giving me a good reason ,infact he has to inform me in time that he will be home late for lunch or dinner .so that my food doesnt get cold on the table.

plus even if his so busy working he have to help me with the kids and domestic works sometimes especially in the weekeneds when his not working.
Family / Re: Sleepless Nights: by Angolobabe(f): 7:34pm On Oct 21, 2008

Romance / Re: Why Are Some Successful Sisters Not Married? by Angolobabe(f): 12:26pm On Oct 21, 2008
some of our nigerian men feel inferior with a woman more sucessful than them or more educated than them
why some of these our successful girls feels that money is everything and try to control anyman that comes there way with that and men dont like that
,plus alot of them have bad attitude and cant keep a man.

and some are scared of our men coming only after there money so they prefer to be single and rich than get rift off by fake men.

Romance / Re: A Single Girl With Married Male Friends Only? by Angolobabe(f): 11:50am On Oct 21, 2008
dont forget i didnt say u should abandon all ur married male friends cos they are married,i said its ok to have a CASUAL FRIENDSHIP,with limits and boundaries with them.read my lips before u posters jump into bashing.
Romance / Re: A Single Girl With Married Male Friends Only? by Angolobabe(f): 11:36am On Oct 21, 2008
im glad u understand what i mean jare ,having a male friends is ok as some people think its less complicated and less gossip compare to having female friends but with a married man its not healthy.

fyneguy:

I don't think it's healthy hanging around married men. You may end up causing frictions in their homes. Wives getting suspicious n stuffs, even when you are just friends. Would u like to see your husband hanging around some single gurls? he tells you "honey, don't worry she's just a friend"

As per ladies being spiteful and ''bitchy", you all complain: "i prefer male friends jare, ladies are bitchy". , hence you are the complainant and the accused! may be you all should work on yourselves rather than blame the lady next door.

I have heard ladies say "theres nothing wrong in keeping one's ex as a friend" would u allow ur boyfriend to do same?
Romance / Re: Ugly Babes And The Most Beautiful Babes by Angolobabe(f): 5:34pm On Oct 20, 2008

I would say it's a matter of attitude really.
even if your beautiful, if you got bad attitude
then finding a good husband wouldn't be easy.

Romance / Re: Why You Need Not Marry A Poor Guy by Angolobabe(f): 5:28pm On Oct 20, 2008
it does make sense though but for me i prefer average man not rich or poor but i should be able to live a comfortable life wink
Romance / Re: A Single Girl With Married Male Friends Only? by Angolobabe(f): 5:03pm On Oct 20, 2008
its doesnt sound good to me,if u want to have male friends do that with single male not married ones,if u knew them beofre marriage u can have a casual friendship with them with limits and boundaries.no going to parties alone with them.

i do trust my hubby but as  a married woman i can't allow my husband having a SINGLE female friend and partying alone with them without me. ur steering up problems between him and his wife.put a stop to that.its not healthy why destroy a happy home,u don't even care about his wife´s feeling how would u feel if the case was reverse?
Family / Re: If Your Mother Is Pregnant For Your Husband What Will You Do? by Angolobabe(f): 11:06am On Oct 20, 2008

Family / Re: The Best Age To Start Having Babies. by Angolobabe(f): 10:56am On Oct 20, 2008
i think from 25-28 and it also depends on the person and how many kids they desire to have ,as alot of people wants to achieve there goals before starting to have kids
i wish to be done with babies at 35.
Family / Re: How Would You Regard Your Husband If He Told You 2 Abort A Pregnancy? by Angolobabe(f): 10:39am On Oct 20, 2008
why didnt u protect urself by taking birth control pill untill ur ready to have another baby,i do undertsand that ur husband doesnt want to go into another baby issue when ur still nursing a 3 months old baby.u need to discuss this issue with ur husband ,it was unplan but it has happen, keeping the baby would be a normal thing a married couples do unless for medical reason then abortion can be applied.

if u can ur husband cant afford it since u already have a 3 months baby,i do understand his fear for asking u to abort but if both of u can afford a second baby and he still insist on u aborting then his upto something which is a bad signal and could affect ur marriage.
