Oga no kill ur self for woman matter. From her statement try reduce ur love for in a logical way.
Trust me, the only reason the girl is still in the relationship is because the guy is still doing most of the loving and caring. If he stops, then thats gonna be the end.

Just japaa...
she'll leave you easily or start throwing tantrums in the face of any slight challenge.

Ruth 1:16 is my template to test how much you are into me.

"But Ruth replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God"

How are you sure campus fellow whatever will not mess them up?
I spent four good years there and there was never a report of such case, and that's something you'll hardly get outside.

I am not saying it can never happen but the chances are very few and it'll surely not be a case of such dehumanization and exploitation as narrated by the OP. I got into school at age 18 with some funny intentions but ended up graduating as a better person, so you can tell how much they guided me through my stay on campus.

Na wa oo!
As tall as I am, I'm short of words.

Parents need to make sure their children are well groomed with certain cultures instilled in them before they are allowed to leave for higher institution. The ones who gain admission at early ages should be put in care of campus fellowship leaders and also given close marking. Na wetin save people like me be that... Our life for no get meaning today.

Think very well before you respond, don't do it out of preconceived mindset. Go back to the main article and read what the police spokesman said about the bank's responsibility to their staff.
What preconceived mindset? arent those the present happenings in nigeria??
The same country where the military said farmers didnt take permission before going to farm??
Theres insecurity and no one is safe regardless of where they stay, simple!

saintokwuluora:
The police was right that the bank ought to have made proper arrangements for the accommodation of their staff who are strangers to Katsina particularly considering the very insecure environment. You cannot see the truth in this only if you are a bigot.
In country where over 300 students were kidnapped without a single resistance from security forces, how much would it take to kidnap a single banker regardless of where he lived?

Please think very well before you talk.
Those that were kidnapped on the road should have also boarded a flight, right?
Police issued a dumb statement as if they would have prevented the kidnap if it was within the city.

For the first time in over a century, the Nigeria Police says something sensible. This made me to ask How many northerners are bank staff in the south?
for you to out rightly say that the police said what was right makes me judge your thinking capacity.
Secondly, an average educated northerner would never blink twice before getting a federal government job.
They would rather do that than to work in the bank.

I have lived in lagos all my life but last year i lived in calabar and kano for a while. it might be tough at the start but one needs to leave the comfort zone to see life differently.
I wish all the best

SaAyomikun:
Great people of this forum,

The reason I'm posting this here is cause I've discovered this section gets a lot of engagements. I need your wise counsel on a pressing issue.

You know the frustration that comes with staying at home after schooling after so many months? That's my position right now. In fact, I am sucidal already. Family and community frustration is killing me.

I stay in a very secluded city in Nigeria, where there are only a few job opportunities and that has been constraining me a lot.

I have tried to work a lot of things out here, they've not just been working. The best I've gotten here is a school that pays 10k a month.

But I must say, I have been applying for jobs and Lagos and Abuja and God so good, I've been getting interview invitations but I have been declining them. Reasons: I have not been to these states before and have no relatives there.

Please Note: I am an extreme introvert and have lived all my life in this city.

Last week, I applied to an organization in Ibadan and luckily, I got their message to come for an interview on Friday. Fact is, I am broke and really stranded, that I have vowed to take anything that comes my way right now. On a second thought, it'd be a disaster if I go for the interview. What if I spend money down to Ibadan for the interview, get the job and get called to resume soon? How would I start in a place I have been to and have nobody or know anyone?

I am really confused right now. What do you suggest I do please?
do you want your life to change or to remain the way it is?
Take that bold step and just damn the consequences.

My most loved part of the bible is Psalms 27:10
"When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me"

Just put your trust in God and be courageous like Joshua and Caleb.

is this necessary, you could pay your message without insulting any tribe
The tribe needs to be insulted here coz the practice finds its root in the core of the tribe. from Baale to the state government, everyone wants to rip occupants off their sweat. I am a more of a yoruba boy but this practice is devilish. The whole money in that paper could build two to three units of shops for the owner of that land.
