Furthermore, this will put a weird spotlight on the democraphics of Abuja in future Elections which might create an ugly situation. Politicians might just import people from other states to make up the 25% in Abuja which might create an unwanted national debate in the future. Tribes will begin to fight over who should be allowed to vote in Abuja etc.


In conclusion, Tinubu's lawyer in his final written argument to the judges is only pushing his legal points with real life likely scenarios that might come out of the judgement.

Nullifying or not won't stop all these from happening in Abuja now that this issue is occurring. But like we experienced in Lagos, the KKK states and Rivers State which are the biggest players in our elections, if the people reject you, they've rejected you.

The Abuja issue is just an indication of what happened across the country.

So i had just been posted to this office from a neibouring state. At first i was reserved being new to the unit, until i met this talk fair Secretary, she was the one who introduced me to the other members of the office. There's a point where all you need to do is support your child's choice even if you as a parent don't understand the reasons.
This same attitude has further severed my relationship with my dad. He wanted me to go for nysc as soon as I graduated, but I felt I needed time to figure out where my life is heading before I go for the nysc (I studied engineering but wanted to go into tech)

I had to take my stand and I finally went 5 years after I graduated. I am grateful today that I did what I felt was best for me because God has really blessed me.

I used my experience to mentor my immediate younger sis, and she keeps mentioning at every chance how my advice helped her in making the right choice.

Parents need to understand that you can only advice and guide their children. They arent animals that you force to do your bidding.
