With all these talks show by your rascal rulers southwest states still wears old looks and dirtiness. I marvelled at the documentary of CNN on lagos as the center of environmental chaos. We are not talking about states pf oson, ogun, ondo, oyo, eketi that appears worse, with the state capitals cutting the image of caves with shrines and mud houses adorning the streets in the 21 century. You guys should first and foremost embark on urban reformation and cleansing instead of going into a white elephant political projects that will never be implemented.

Big B1:
I think it has been confirmed that the faggott is an American. What an idiotttt and a typical example of why Nigeria is this screwed up.
These motherfkers step on the rule of law in the day time without any hesitation.
How can we move forward when folks like Ajimobi can not just simply obey the law?
What is the difference btw Ajimobi and a common area boy? Not much.
Did you even bother to check those sections of the constitution before you started vomiting rubbish from your dumb brain angry

FYI this is what the constitution says

Section 28 (1) of the Constitution:

28. (1) Subject to the other provisions of this section, a person shall forfeit forthwith his Nigerian citizenship if, not being a citizen of Nigeria by birth, he acquires or retains the citizenship or nationality of a country, other than Nigeria, of which he is not a citizen by birth.

Section 182 (1):

182. (1) No person shall be qualified for election to the office of Governor
of a State if -
(a) subject to the provisions of section 28 of this Constitution, he has voluntarily acquired the citizenship of a country other than Nigeria or, except in such cases as may be prescribed by the National Assembly, he has made a declaration of allegiance to such other country

This clearly shows there's no case, Akala is just wasting his time and money, fcuuking loser cheesy
PoliticsRe: Robbers Raid Residence Of Youth Corps Members In Ogun by apoti(m): 11:46am On May 19, 2011
Armed robbers on Monday night attacked some members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ogun State. The ugly incident occurred at the corps members’ residence at Oluwo in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of the State. Many of them sustained various injuries in the course of the bandits’ strike, while property such as money, laptops and phones were equally carted away. Some of the corps members who had participated as adhoc staff during the general elections lost their allowances to the bandits.

It was gathered that the building known as the Nigerian Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF) lodge accommodates about 40 youth corps members.

Following the incident, many of the victims yesterday trooped out into the streets in Abeokuta, the state capital to register their protest, accusing the police of not promptly rescuing them in the hands of the night marauders.

Corps members protest

The victims, who did not want their names in print, lamented to journalists that they would not have lost their property if the police had heeded to their distressed calls on time.

“When we called the police to come and rescue us during the attack, they did not come to our rescue on time, until after we had been robbed and wounded by the robbers,” said one of the victims.

A female victim while narrating her experience said she was almost raped by the robbers but for the intervention of the gang leader who stopped one of the robbers from the attempt.

Contacted on the incident, the Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Muyiwa Adejobi confirmed the incident but quickly exonerated his men from allegation of not responding on time.

“The NYSC could not point accusing finger to the police because if they had told the police, we would have given them some policemen,” the police image-maker said while urging corps members to always participate in community policing.

On the corps members’ reaction, Mr Adejobi said “the protest was uncalled for. The police in Adigbe did not know the lodge. Nobody knows the place as corpers’ lodge. The DPO could not locate the place. They should have let the police know the place and they would have been given special security.” He said.

PoliticsRe: Who Is A Lagosian ? by apoti(m): 10:37am On May 18, 2011
Justcash:
There is a difference between being a Lagosian and wanting to be a Lagosian. You dint want to be known as an Imolite, that didn't stop you from being an imolite. When you were there, you were an imolite. You didn't need to be checked by the immigration or stamped in and out when you went there. That is because you are Nigerian, which qualifies you to live and die in any state as a citizen.
Being an imolite does not mean only Igbos from Imo state. Same goes for being a Lagosian. That is how it is on ground.

Your last statement is indeed contrary to the definition of being Nigerian. You can only answer your father's name when Nigeria divides. For now, you are a Nigerian and a member of any state that you are residing in. I am so sure that you are very much against division, but still you want to answer your father's name. Stop confusing yourself. Support division of Nigeria so that you can really answer your father's name, or simply keep quiet and accept things as they are. As I am speaking, millions of Igbos exist as Lagosians. I have also seen Imolites of Yoruba and Hausa origins. You cannot do anything about it.
If you read my post very well, I said I was never seen as an imolite and I meant by the people. Some of them did not even know my name, I was being called obasanjo brother, so I can get it into my brain that I don't belong there.
It does not matter how long you have stayed, the truth now remains that I can never contest for an election in imo and win. Same way no Ibo or Hausa can contest for an election in Lagos and win, that might change in the next 50years, but for now that is d reality.
PoliticsRe: Who Is A Lagosian ? by apoti(m): 6:09am On May 18, 2011
Fhemmmy:
A Lagosian should be anyone that resides in Lagos and not about where you were born . . . .that is what developed nations does, but Nigeria is about where you were born, and not even that but where your parents were born, or worse still, where you father was born.

Imagine someone that has never been to Kaduna and yet has to be refereed to as someone from Kaduna all cos the father was born in Kaduna, such person cant go to Kaduna to contest for office and where he resides wont let him, cos his father is not from there.

These are some the things that has to be stopped.
I stayed in Owerri for almost 7 years, I was never seen as an 'imolite' or an 'igbo' (i never wanted to be anyway)  wink.
I remember my neighbours call me names like 'obasanjo brother' and 'Yoruba man' cheesy, it was very annoying at first but I had to live with it.

As far as Nigeria is concerned bear ya papa name o! Lagos is for Yoruba  smiley
