I don't know if anyone has seen this dog cartoon that channels TV used to show back then of these dogs and their puppies stole by these two mumus working for one wicked haggard looking woman. There is this puppy that's always not satisfied and will always be at the back. I wish I own him. That's was when my Love for dogs started.

Short story told by an elderly friend of mine.

He said when he was a boy in the village, his father has many dog for hunting. One day a hunter mistakenly shot one. The dog was brought back home and given to dog eaters (I see them as cannibals) so that they can drain the blood before it dies. They prepared the dog and ate. Here is the shocker. They threw the bones to the other dogs. They rushed there but getting there and sniffing it, they left. They didn't touch the bones. These creatures aren't just ordinary animals. I have videos of dogs thought how to pray.

I also heard of the story of an old woman who loves to feed dogs on her Street. She died. While lying in state, these dogs went there and were crying.

I can go on and on. Even if I can't raise one now, I definitely will in the future.

I admire ur passion for dogs, nice one... Work towards owning one in the nearest future.

Why would I wanna scare you? Neither am I trying to discourage you. Please understand me, I'm trying to make a point here. With great commitments comes great responsibilities, they go hand in hand. It is not easy raising a pup, if u must, you shld make reservations for her even before getting one. Some people subject their pup exclusively to home made meals which is quite economical, but all these will tell on the dog on the long run. Even a pup from the purest lineage will end up with the features of a mongrel if not properly raised...

So bro, if u wanna become a successful pet owner or breeder, u need to work on ur finances, u don't need millions to do this, u only need to get things right. There are other cheaper methods of raising a pup other than the conditions I gave but then, u still need a regular source of income.

Hey honnie, everyone wants a dog, but they don't know it comes with a huge sacrifice... The cost of a dog is little compared to the cost of raising one not to mention the sacrifices that goes with it.

You as a lady, have been solely responsible for raising Uncle Brad since he was a little pup. You sure understand what I mean by sacrifices. You've raised and helped raised other pups too. Maybe u shld share ur experiences with this aspiring "pet owner" so he'd know the challenges involved. Let him know how much you spend on a monthly basis on just feeding.

And BTW, hope Brad has stopped playing gay? Cos I heard bro buhari wanna increase the sentence to 20years.

I don't mind giving you a GSD pup for free, not a problem actually...But there are conditions attached.

You need to prove to me that you can take proper care of the pup.
1. Get a bag of Royal canin which costs 19,800
2. A Pack of JOJO canned food (24 in a pack) which costs 7,200
3. Get a pack of Dog supplements and Vit tabs, both of which amounts to like 14,000.
4. You need to get a qualified VET who will agree to attend to the pup at any point in time, I will speak and interview ur VET before I approve. 5. You will place him on a retainership agreement, in which you will pay him upfront before I give you this pup.
6. I want to see a full view of your house and its environs, need to be sure you have the facilities to raise a pup successfully.
7. I need to see an approval from all your neighbors to be sure they approve you bringing in a pet into the house at this time.
8. I also need to see your bank statement till date to be sure you have the financial capacity to raise a pet.
9. A written agreement that I can withdraw my pup at any point in time if I feel she doesn't have enough care.
10. A written agreement that you will pay the full cost of my pup including severance packages in case the pup dies while in your care.

NOTE:
You will also agree never to breed this pup, nor make money out of her in any way whatsoever.

If you agree to all these and you can put it into writing and append your signature, contact me so we could chat on it.

Dog;Man's best friend, tail for communication( an important part of "friendship) but since dogs dont run or swim lets just cut the tails off dey can communicate with their ears or do we speak "bark" now?

Since we can use humans to illustrate how about we cut off pples smaller toes since we basicaly need the big toe for balance?

No offense honey, I hold u in high esteem, you're a wonderful example of a typical dog lover, but I must state this fact...Do you realize most people who are so particular about the "tail communication" thingy are the ones who don't have time for their pets...Even if their dogs were to have 5 tails each, they still wouldn't understand their dogs nor interpret their intentions...Why go in search of what's not lost? Why don't we tackle the problems at hand, instead of chasing shadows...

Any dog lover, even if his dog was blind, deaf, dumb, "tailess" and "earless", would still understand his dogs no matter what the situation is.

Circumcision has positive effects on the kid ... docking and cropping are done to make dogs up to american kinikan standard ( i no know how that one take concern us for here) and it makes caucasians look like wild monkeys (seen 2).

If there are any other advantages of docking and cropping.. please share

In essence, not all breed of dogs are meant to live with a tail. Dock tailing of large breeds is essential for hunting and working purposes, keeps better balance and the likes.

Bro,my younger sister has a caucasian. She found this really hairy pup,loved it and bought it without any idea what she got.2 years now and its a massive hairy dog that's all but pampered spoilt and dorminant. Not putting CO's down at any lenghts, they are impressive too,but I think they lack that swiftness and response relative to size like the boerboel. Depending on how much you're willing to spare, u can do royal canin, it costs 19,800, or u can settle for Arion puppy which costs 8,000...Thats for the dry feed, follow up with Jojo canned food... Don't forget multivitamin tabs too...

Hi there, lhasa apsos are a very delicate breed, you need a whole lot of enlightenment on the breed before u go get one... Low cost of feeding though as they don't eat as much as the heavy breeds. You need to be careful on the choice of vet too, cos as u know most drug administration are advised on body size and weight, any slight overdose might lead to

You need to go learn how to groom a lhasa pup too, else ur pup will end up with a mass of tangled hairs...

Hi there, do u realise your dog is still a pup, what some Nigerians would call "young adult"... Do the needful and stop paying attention to some excuses given by ur vet. Follow her up with vit tabs and supplements. I've not heard of any case where a particular brand of processed dog food was reported to delay heat. Your dog is not just ready to come on heat, so don't sweat over it, and even if she comes on heat, u can't mate on her first heat, not advisable.

This case can be likened to the life of two twin sisters... One of them hit her menstrual cycle at age 10 while the other didn't hit hers until 15...

So bro, take ur mind off it and feed ur dog what u think is right for her age.

Not everyone knows what the condition is called...Moreover, medical terms scare people.

Dogs are security alarm systems in banks and some homes...They don't take action unless triggered. You need to let your dog know the reason you are keeping him, either as a pet or a guard, some dogs serve both purposes depending on the expertise of the owner...

I wonder why such a horrible sight shld attract any guy... My opinion anyway.

Whichever the case maybe don't ask her that question anymore. Expecting to get a yes or no answer from her is irrelevant at this point. She cuddles and kisses you then in my opinion she's already into you. Girls doesn't go about kissing someone they have no feelings for. She could be shy or something. Perhaps it could be her first dating experience or she's had a heart break before and just want to take things slow. Now you don't rush it, be patient.

Keep showing her you care, treating her right always. I believe it's possible to make her feel less uptight and start opening up to you. I think when a girl is certain you care and love her sincerely she'll come around. Not every girl can say yes when one ask them out, some are way too shy to say it. Fact is, she mustn't say a yes before you know she has accept your advances or in a relationship with you. So it'll be nice if you stop asking that question and just assume she's in a relationship with you.

Did u read the part the OP said they've been together for 2years? You advice him to have more patience even after this whole while.
