tuniski: Quite unfortunate we found ourselves in this quagmire! Most troubling is the army of suffering youth who see this as only winning argument and bragging rights while the nation drift. Almost unanimous the observers have given a damning verdict of the charade of 2019 general elections. Yet, some unfortunate goons get very insultive defending misery!
But if you look carefully you will find that you are better off than many who support impunity here. So let them keep their contract with poverty running. :
Simplyleo: [s][/s] Is there anything you don't complain of?
You hate Nigerian fulani cows, now Akwa Ibom has gotten Brazilian cows for you, you still complain.
Are you this or you acquired this?
Meanwhile, they should try and sustain such importation cos 2000 cows is far less than Akwa ibom weekly consumption of beef.
My brother does it mean we do not already have a thriving dual purpose cow somewhere in West AFRICA? It would cost less in transportation, acclimatisation and sundry. Are they going to import Brazilian grass with it too?
Lovelyn451: His wife is fine, wish to be like her after four kids
Then have your kids early. If you can afford to. If you do not have the means you will just be looking old event at age 27 with several kids. That is the secret of most.
Just like Omotola who had her fiirst kid at 18 or 19. Her kids look like her younger siblings.
DameB: Which type of collateral did these men use to secure these loans? Meanwhile Lapo dey make people commit suicide for common taazands, see igbese in billions here nau
God bless you. None I guess. Or they would have seized those assets by now. 9ja Na padi padi stuff.
The first gift am getting for my son is a boot and football
Ramsey left for free. So Juve can spend save transfer money on his wages. It's the dream of most footballers. To leave for free Abe command high wages.
Ugosample: more like if you are not useful to the society you find yourself
you will be treated with disdain
India is another shithole
But most Indians you find in the western world are useful to themselves
But most Africans can't boast of same
hence the disdain
Indians cooperate.
An African will leave another African's business and patronise an Indian or another non-African.
Yet Asians will never be seen dead patronising African business. We do not know the value of keeping our money circulating among blacks. Other groups are keenly aware of it.
obailala: Even though we do not practice a proper kind of federalism, the truth is that Nigeria is still a federation whether we agree or not, and governors are mini-emperors, just like the president. Unfortunately, most governors still do not recognize the kind of powers they wield, that's why everyone still sucks up to Abuja.
He who pays the piper dictates the tune. Governors depend on Federal allocation. Even though it's theirs by right, a president can withhold it. OBJ did it to Tinubu in Lagos.
If governors depended like 90% on IGR, they won't even look the side of the president. They'd flex the muscle which they know they have. They all have an attorney-general in their state who knows the constitution.
Luckily Lagos has IGR far more than most, so Tinubu could afford to be stubborn back then.
Of course a governor as a chief executive is far more powerful than a single senator. People even leave the senate and FEC as ministers to try contest for governorship.
The Senate is now even "an old people's retirement home" for governors in Nigeria.
I post what ever the fuck_ I like, it's my cyber space
My dear, depending on which country you live in and your aspirations in life, do it VERY carefully.
In some climes, just when you reach the pinnacle of your career, homophobic, bigoted or other controversial posts many years earlier can come to haunt you big time.
Many have lost sumptuous positions ready like that. While you are free to hold any views you like, putting them in the public arena can potentially cause you massive trouble when you least expect it.
anonimi: Was Europe not igbehole (shittyhole) centuries ago before their people decided to work continuously to fix it? Those who can't fix their own places will be treated with disdain by others. No joke.
sholay4star: They wrote on their twitter handle @USEmbassyAbuja
"Today the U.S. Naval Forces Europe Band "Topside" was a special guest at Silverbird Television where they performed popular American and Nigerian tunes, including a rendition of Afro-beat legend Fela's classic "Water No Get Enemy."
No wonder these female actors buy a mansion around 2 years after they divorce. When they finally get the freedom to sell their goods to the highest bidder.
nett: im sure the person that wrote this list started watching football12 years ago. if the criteria is 25 years , the fact that marco van basten is not on this list is unpardonable.
Kaybex007: I beg what kind of animals are we breeding as political leaders in this country. They just do anyhow they like. Anyway I have always said that I do not see this our geographical area as a country. It's a jungle, where the opportuned ones are the predators that feed on the prey. It's survival of the fittest.
Nigerian politics is rough. It's mostly agbero and thugs able to rig elections that get elected. Except you have a godfather with a retinue of his regular long-term thugs to rig you in.
So expect no decent people in those positions. At times some decent political appointees come into the picture. That's it.
FarahAideed: Africans and this primitive accumulation of land mindset ..Africa is the only place on Earth I still here people talk of land and landed property like fools . As people we must remember Life is nothing but an experience and our duty here is to capture and deliver as much experience as we can before we die because that's all we got ..in the real sense nobody owns any material thing in this place called earth not even a grain of sand , the only thing this place allows us to own are memories of experience ..
Not true. Landed property is still the most popular investment worldwide. In fact in US and UK, and many other developed countries, most personal wealth and debt are in the form of real estate.
Recessions have been measured largely in impact based on effect on mortgage business. People unable to continue mortgage payment and low demand for mortgage loans and therefore declined house prices and increased repossessions by lenders/banks. Not just unemployment.
Only that in the West there is social housing or housing projects in US such that owning a house might seem not too crucial. But people who want to build wealth for next generation still invest in houses or flats.
He's married but cheated with this girlfriend. Until he divorces his wife he cannot marry this one.
He has been married twice before. He had an affair that resulted in a daughter during this last marriage. His last wife gave him 4 kids. His first daughter is now 26 years old. The guy is a serial cheat. It shows hypocrisy inherent in every society. The elite get away with all kind of things.
solmusdesigns: I think thats just the problem of fools asking god to bless dunce for spewing trash..
Nigerias only problem is How to fund our huge infrastructural deficit which fashola in his wisdom suggested a 10trn bond that any body can subscribe to, to many dull dunce thinks nigeria is rich and deserves isshh but fact and figures show our only meaningful export is 2.5mbp crude which IOC takes 40% while 60% is. Shared by Fg, 36 state and 774 local governments.... with 200million oil dependant people, yet we want to copy saudi with less.than 50m citizens on 11mbpd
..
I have always said Nigeria is a poor country but people refuse to hear. With Nigerian population anything below 10m barrel per day is nothing. Never mind looting. Wealth is not even oil and gas these days. It is a highly educated, highly productive and innovative human resource.
What Nigeria has is potential wealth if harnessed properly. Ortega had bucketloads of potential but he never became Maradona of his generation.
Some politicians would "No money, No money"...... So where is this N10tr going to come from??
He said from bond. Me and you can invest in the bond. From just 1000 Naira.
Countries have used bond sale to finance wars, infrastructure from at least time of Napoleonic war.
The problem is that it is just borrowed money repayable with interest, only with a different name and who's to say they won't loot it like they have done till now?
adanny01: So you believe the president doesnt have the right to write the National assembly directing and lobbying them to take control of the state assembly?
Do not forget in a hurry what GEJ did to Ameachi or what Obj did to Tinubu. If Buhari were the type, Saraki would not have survived 4 yrs and Obaseki would have ran back to Edo with his tail between his legs.
One major flaw of Buhari is his lack of will to deal with the political space.
Anyway Nigeria practices militocracy so not surprised you support abuse of power. I do not support meddling no matter who does it. My point still remains that Oshiomole used fewer assembly members for his proclamation.
Oshiomhole is doing Tinubu's bidding now and people support his meddling via FG. I know the tune will change the minute he disagrees with Tinubu.
