When were kids visiting the village during summer break, one very old toothless man used to say " in this life we're in, wealth/money has a big secret. It's not by working under the scotching sun from dawn to dusk that one makes it". People used to laugh and say old baba should just admit that he prefers morning kaikai drink than going to farm. ![]() But if you look at it, the old man was right. Many so-called "self-made" men have a very dark secret. Most invented no product, nothing unique that others are not doing in the sector, etc. Sometimes AMCON reveals their antics, others better connected get away with it. Since EFCC is now a political tool. |
ruggedtimi:Most are probably Catholics. That state produces many catholic priests too. The catholic church bestows church knighthood. Much like the Queen of England does upon recommendation of UK prime minister in modern times. The Pope is a head of state too in addition to being head of the church. Many Igbo billionaires have probably built churches and donated to the catholic church with other humanitarian acts. Promoting the catholic faith. They often earn their knighthood that way. Since in 9ja we are crazy about titles, you see these titles. In other countries people hardly use such titles daily. |
Timmyprox:Well he can be okro soup while you are egusi. You cannot be both. His dick might even be smaller and weaker than yours. Still. Variety makes........ You know the rest. ![]() |
Well, it's best to know oneself and do what one really wants to do genuinely. To date a single mother, one must be ready to play a "fatherly" role in the lives of her kids. If one is not ready or willing to play that role, no need dating her. It's bad for everyone. It can bring instability to the lives of the kids when they break up. And that cycle may repeat itself over and over again. It's a serious matter involving young lives and nobody should be "shamed" or " blackmailed" into dating single moms or dads if they are not ready to. The current economic situation is not encouraging either. ![]() |
LadySarah:I wonder o. Nonsense policy. Family unfriendly. They are missing an opportunity to show progressivism. Most mothers do it due to lack of options in our increasingly young nuclear families. |
Apination:Word! But the jazz they use to shackle them is too strong for them to hear you. This Ehindero guy did not consult a proper babalawo. ![]() |
Lol. Well we still won the cup. YNWA. |
Dudeweedlmao:He might have noticed it broke early enough. |
Cantonese:Well, Tinubu desperately wanted to be VP but religious calculus was against it. You can imagine how so close to power would have boosted his chances. He even cried we were told. At the end the North may give it to Fashola, Fayemi or someone from SW who is perceived not to be overly ambitious feel genuinely Indebted to Tinubu any more. SW will still support any of their own the North will reckon. And put the manipulative and fiercely ambitious El-rufai to breath down his neck. ![]() |
obekediamondfuto:It seems everywhere. With moral decay and money worship comes anything. |
I always tell people. Just because a man is not talking polygamy today when dating doesn't mean he won't years down the line. A partner not cheating now can cheat tomorrow. But when I say it here, some people say I am a polygamy apologist. Even though three generations of my family have been monogamous. I just state reality. Always just brace yourself for anything. |
obekediamondfuto:Well, should they all turn out not to be his, she will have to locate their father or fathers. The bad luck of having a donatus for a mum. In the African system, only blood kinship matters. The kids will search for their father sooner or later. No matter how nicely he treated them growing up. As for the man, love and fear of the unknown can make "some" people mumu and indecisive. But his capacity to do the ostrich is quite gargantuan. All of a relative's kids were not his. Despite giving his young wife cars and a very nice life. He died suddenly not long after finding out that the kids he loved so much were not his. Remember that over 35% of firstborn kids (many of those "I dey pregnant, make we marry quick" cases) and up to 25% of all kids belong to another man outside. ![]() Embassy re-union visa DNA tests, bone marrow donation, genetic diseases tests or just due to mere suspicion have revealed many things. |
Just hope this story is made up. If not wahala dey o. Op was even lucky enough to find out her cheating antics years ago. First of all, run a paternity test on ALL your kids. Even those that "look like you" as they could belong to your brother or cousin. Then decide what you want: early death after severe heartache or long life and peace of mind. If you choose the former continue as you are. If the latter, you know what to do. |
Olamsoh:And of the "employed" 76.9%, half should be earning 18k per month or less. That one Na employment? Gainful full-time, reasonable income employment in Nigeria is less that 35%. |
Tina26:Many Indians have skin as dark as Osuofia or Ambode. Only with curly hair. Very many in Southern India part called Tamil Nadu. In fact they are the original Indians. The lighter skinned Indians are largely Persian and other migrants to the Indus Valley area. Even those in the pic are normal every day Indians. Indians like Africans prefer lighter skin. India, Congo Zaire and Nigeria are the biggest skin bleachers on earth. This preference for light skin also lead to lighter skin people most prevalent in Indian films and elite social status. |
Vanity crew storming this thread soon. ![]() |
Na wa o. |
Astark:His family is Muslim. Clara his late wife converted him to Christianity. Luke in Yoruba land, many people in Owan/Etsako axis are Christlims. One reason Oshio and Tinubu get along so well. |
festacman:God bless you. Who knows her? Among the population over the age of 40, 2.5% will not know her. 70% of our population live in rural areas with little or no broadband penetration. It's mostly city kids without jobs or much to occupy them that will follow her on social media. And perhaps express their admiration or disapproval. In a country where the rich have connived with with politicians to loot our commonwealth, do not be surprised if many kids hate rich kids flaunting their wealth in a sea of poverty. Who was that billionaire tangled in oil subsidy bribe dollars with one Lawan in House of Rep back then? I thought as much. |
Sweettwenty8:Abeg my dear, do not take NwaAmaapku or whatever seriously. You know his antics. ![]() There are men married to ladies pretty like models and still go to rough parts of town to patronise dirty hookers. Often old habits are hard to give up. If he was a long term bachelor before marriage or from a very modest background, ewa probably "saved" his life at some point. I do not see much problem with eating ewa, except having to buy from the roadside. You don't want him getting food poising after eating your food mixed with street food. In-laws can be very difficult God forbid. You have to be very firm in asking why the need for street ewa all the time. Or find out from a close relative of his "codedly". |
OduntanGabriel:Oh boy na OYO to the masses. |
Lexusgs430:Sadly my brother, none. If care is not taken, soon garrison commanders, top politicians, police top brass and NASS members will be routinely paying ransom to be freed. It's going in that direction now. I pray it doesn't happen though. |
The lady got it spot on. Some people have to do certain jobs. Be it a doing autopsies, doing dissections to teach anatomy or being a mortician. |
Olu317:Lol, I am not sir. But the different stories that emanate from it bring up questions begging for answers. |
Lol. Funny African parents. ![]() You go grow grey hair waiting for their apology. |
edeXede:My brother, the desperation of every Yoruba monarch to claim direct descent from Oduduwa is really frightening. It's an attempt to claim legitimacy. Oduduwa was never the biological forebear of all Yoruba or all Yoruba monarchs. Simply impossible. What began as a political move to unite Yoruba people under one forebear has been taken to another level of comedy. So Akanbi is not the branch of Oduwa that produced the main (7 or so) Yoruba kings? After Oduyale, who will suddenly come out of the Wood works, Odumosu? ![]() |
hahn:Compound fool even. You have no money and the pure water money you have you want to spend on one idiot who may be dating 20 men simultaneously. Instead of building his business solidly first. |
Very bad. Something needs to be done and fast. |
But he will still support breeding anyhow. By people who cannot even feed themselves. He does not see a large population without education, proper food, housing or jobs as security risk for any country. |
In this country what are the criteria for giving female titles like Dame, Lady, her excellency, etc? Because every wife of a sitting or ex governor, senator and such bear these titles. Serious countries have clear cut rules for such. |
Gadafii:Engrishh olopa sporotteded. ![]() Oh boy Na those wey dey nack such English dey sleep most peacefully. Because they do not care one not. |
