Ordinary people are suffering. Anybody's cute gf can be an olosho. Cont3 hard and coming by free money is not easy. Many people do all kinds of things now to survive. You cannot tell just by looking at face. |
Wow! The car still has swag. Is there any auto museum in Lagos or anywhere else in Nigeria? |
soberdrunk:True. But since it has happened, there should be proper punishment & restitution for the crime. She belongs in jail, and the poor child awarded millions in damages. |
cbay:Scheduled maintenance they wrote. Which means planned well ahead not emergency work. Yet, they had no time to properly print the notice and avoid using past tense instead of past tense for "announce". No radio or TV announcement. Not even onsite notice yesterday. Haba! Must we always accept mediocrity? |
sukkot:Called French suit those days. Maybe the missing half arm length is supposed to mean parsimony and prudence. Fits into the charade of anti-corruption claim of Buhari. Like Oshomhole likes to wear. ![]() It had a meaning in the days of Prof. Tai Solarin, not anymore. |
na wa o.Corrupt judges. |
Those people will be so caught soon. They will make a critical mistake. Security will intel & break into their communication. It is also a national embarrassment to FG. They might even seek help from Scotland Yard or other foreign units. Getting the money in Naira would be foolish, especially new 1000k bills whose serial numbers can be all captured before delivery. Asking in mixed foreign currencies would have same problem, but at least lighter to carry & hide. Either way, greed and negligence will give them away soon. No doubt. I pray for her safe return. |

bikefab:Happy independence day! Many: Nollywood, some good footballers, large population (there's potential to do great things), very intelligent people (though not well-applied or wrongly applied for now), good entertainment industry, taken jollof rice to a whole new international level, successful transfer of presidency from one party to another, discovering natural resources our kids & grand kids could use well in the future, recognising that we cannot go on like this, etc. ![]() Even though we have been a prodigal son so far, we will return home contrite and ready to mend our way one day. ![]() |
ammyluv2002:We humans have taken up too much of their habitat. We now have to share same space. Some even now depend on mice & rats around our houses. Even pythons gulping up our pets. |
outstandingsyll:HBD dear. |
KINGwax007:Then you have not seen Congo Zaireans yet. Many buy a pair of socks or a pant for $50 or even much more. As long as a big brand name like Armani, Gucci or Vivian Westwood is emblazoned on it. And even pull the pant out if you get into an argument with him over a completely unrelated matter, just to taunt you that his pant or socks alone costs more than everything you are wearing from head to toe. ![]() Fact is we Africans have been so robbed of our self-esteem that overtly or subconsciously, we do not really believe in our own abilities. That is a fact. To denigrate local products, they are derisively called "Awka made, Aba made, Okrika made". Therefore, the East still mostly represents the location of local fabrication & manufacturing. Especially small scale & family concerns making things. Pretty much like Italy used to be. I have heard that some shoes with "Made in Italy" tags are actually Aba made. Local makers are frustrated by lack of patronage of their very high quality products if taged made in Nigeria. |
He tried. But he should have organised a bungalow in a govt Estate for her. Making accommodation sorted for life. Irrespective of whether she has one before or not. Let's see what FG will do. |
Na wa. O. Silly guy. |
zicoraads:Hot soup for that matter. ![]() |
ok |
Hehehehe. |
They were sent to wipe out the family. Some feud somewhere. Geezors, not even the kids were spared. The heart of man is desperately wicked. Rip to the tragic family. |
ammyluv2002:Well, God did not intend that husbands would be pimps, swingers or weirdos. ![]() Do not forget that both man & woman are expected to play their part. I guess no man who loves, respects & cherishes his wife would turn her into "donatus". ![]() Or are you referring to some of our ancient friends from Benue that entertained guests with their lovely wives? I heard that practice is dead now. ![]() |
oothoney:I guess some want him to be new party chairman. Removing Oyegun & replacing with Osho would not raise dust in the SS. Because on paper it would seem like like-for-like. Which it is not. Buhari, a confirmed oil junkie since the 1970s will not hand over oil portfolio to a Southerner just yet. More likely, Fashiola's portfolio would be broken down and a perceived fellow "infrastructure builder" given a part of it. |
Kunlexxxx:Even traditionally, beating is not the normal thing. Although it happens. People who confessed cleanly and tell all the evil they have done are used to swear an oath of the land and maybe at shrines of the community. That they will henceforth desist from evil & use their metaphysical prowess only to do good. And perhaps certain fines imposed on them. In fact of old, it was quite accepted that witches & wizards were a vital part of the community, if only they would desist from doing evil. The best medicine men boasted of being witches.....but ones that did not attend evil meetings in the coven or consume human meat or blood in the coven. But nonetheless able to see all that was happening there. Even if unable to prevent it. It was that knowledge of those secrets that medicine men used to release/buy off those condemned to destruction in the coven. Be it illness, poverty, misfortune, childlessness, death, etc. As kids, we heard many such stories from old relatives (in their 80s, 90s then) about events of their own childhood. We Africans have not researched African metaphysics or lack of it properly. We seem to believe that only Westerners have monopoly over truth. Africans cannot be right, if their experience or ideas differ from Western ones. That seems to be the prevailing position. |
Billyonaire:Dude, can you expatiate on your research? It is something we all need to understand better. |
Delicate matter. But the biggest problem is that you still have a gf. If you didn't, it would be different. You could have re-assured your friend that you're not at all about banging but ready to marry her. But she's just 21 and presumably still under parents care & control. Believe me, if you were earning a decent income, she through with her NYSC at least and you propose to her, your friend would be delighted. Her family know your character and would be happy to leave their princess in your care. Your friend is concerned about you using his sis little to play "five-a-side football" and zoom off with your gf or another girl into the sunset. ![]() |
madridguy:Well, I had my doubts until one event when I was a kid. It was one fine Delta lady like this o. She had several kids, among them 2 handsome boys. One in his early 20s and the cute little boy of about 6. The hubby was one perpetually happy, smiley man, never ever in an angry mood. They leased land from us. Basically our tenants. Until this man got ill. His condition got worse but doctors found no concrete diagnosis. After several months, it got so bad that he was taken to Delta to die. There he died. It was so painful. Less than a year later, the son in his 20s also died. And only months later, the cute little boy died too. Total disaster! Following that, the lady confessed that the little cute boy's head/soul/spirit was too strong that it has pushed her to confess. She confessed using her hubby's & sons' lives to attain a very high status in the coven. She basically became top gun elite over there. She herself died soon after that, leaving their girls so devastated. But I still have some doubts: Did she develop severe depression & psychosis (with hallucinations) because of so many bereavements within such a short time? Was she simply a broken woman and did not even know what she was saying? Or was she really a heartless witch at night that coveted so much power & status in the coven to kill her loved ones?? |
wite111:The press has gone mute. Soldiers are just being killed and the public cannot even share the grief of their families. Sad. RIP. Hope your sacrifice for 9ja was worth it. |
NkayTiana:I think Lucky Igbinedion disappointed Edo, especially Edo South so much that POI's involvement with him caused voter apathy. He could not convince Edo people that he would be different from Lucky. Despite Osho's poor second term record, Edo South can at least score his first term positive. If GO can perform positively for 4 years and murk about with the remaining 4 years, it would still beat Lucky's. Lucky remains an albatross on PDP's neck. |
bigtt76:Pathetic turn out my dear. Edo has about 4 million people. At least 2 million of voting age. Most under 30s did not register or bother to turn up. The excuses they gave were funny. They forget that their future and that of their children are at stake. Their health care, education, employment, food security, economy, personal security, infrastructure, etc. But most rather do all night in church than take practical steps using God-given sense. It doesn't matter who wins. As long as it is free and fair and majority of voting age people take part. |
