billyG:But the guy has a point. A legislator willing to shell out N15m in bribe is basically admitting guilt. Yet he was not named. A legislator should ordinarily be above board like the named EFFC guy. I don't care much about the senior EFCC operative. Fair is fair. |
Ditala:Ol' boy! This Agbazue guy is just a small fish. Emmanuella's "Jonah's big fish" of this game are the ogas@dTOP and they are raking in billions. And considering that no big gun ever gets convicted by EFCC, they must be really working for their money. Not just the SANs are working hard. While fighting corruption is great, the efforts it saps & the counter efforts to undo it are way too high. We can see why Buhari hardly has any energy left to run the govt/economy. ![]() |
lonelydora:The majority might still be from Edo for now, but it is changing fast. I watched a documentary on BBC a while back. The lady trafficked as far back as 17 year ago was not from Edo. Luckily a white guy rescued & married her. They now run a charity in Italy to rescue more women. There were clearly many non-Edo women. On social media, there people I have known for years, who were fairly ok in 9ja: hairdressers, fashion designers, etc. I have persuaded many not to travel. Telling them asawo is what they will end up doing there. Because their stories of a "benevolent guy or lady" have looked suspicious. With a sudden interest in going abroad plus mentioning Spain or Italy. And they are from across South of 9ja. The one that did not listen and is in Italy since about 4 weeks now is from the South East. And she has never lived in Edo. I passed on the charity details to her. When there is a problem in 9ja, instead of recognizing the danger & potential "contagion" effect of it, we focus on tribes. We forget that we share one geographical, economic & social space. Mores, norms, morality & culture are becoming more & more fluid. |

Anything to fix? Is it first body? What is mileage on it? All papers in order? |

GEJ still working. It is his budget they are still using ni. They cannot implement theirs even when they claim to. Though the quality here is obviously not as good as Lagos-Benin Road that GEJ did. I will be interested when I see Benin-Warri-Asaba rail planned by GEJ is completed. Not this patchwork that will not survive next raining season. Shebi APC say they sabi rubbish GEJ's stellar achievements, while commissioning his trains and other projects . Dem never see anything. ![]() |
Ride on child. May the force be with you. |
Very tasty. Even raw. |
jerryunit48:Gbam. Complete lie by APC. It seems APC cannot compromise him. The sudden change of commissioner 3 weeks ago, so near election was even suspicious. Since he's not playing ball, they have removed him just in time to bring in an APC stooge. APC is panicking seriously. It seems it's do or die for APC. From postponement near coronation of crown prince to removing PC willy-nilly. |
Cjrane2:No surprise there. When you spend billions of tax payers' money jetting around like Ajala & calling the same tax payers corrupt criminals upand dan, why should anybody come & invest in a den of criminals? |
SamuelAnyawu:Instead of change, APC motto is now : Elected to blame. Omase o. ![]() Thunder wey go fire this Oni guy is currently running up & down Olumo rock, practising Kong-Fu tactics & skipping & doing serious press up. ![]() |
Ok |
erico2k2:Hehehehe. ![]() Some women do not know what they are wishing for. This kind of courtship suits impotent or 1 minute guys perfectly. I know some cases of broken marriages under 2 years after no sex courtship. Sexual incompatibility. Very serious matter. |
Stelvin101:We're a bunch of very spineless people generally in 9ja. We worship money & status/position anyhow. That is why when most loud critics are invited to come & chop, they turn coat instantly. |
So anyone takes this spineless Kee Mumu diplomat serious? The man's tenure has been the most lackluster tenure at the UN I have ever seen. According to some of his staff, it is the red carpets & razzmatazz of travelling around he keeps talking about. He has no achievement at UN till date, so he's likely to respect a fellow non-achiever like Burukutuhari. ![]() After rubbishing your countrymen as corrupt criminals, driving away investors & plunging your country into poverty, outsiders have to like and respect you. Because they've got us exactly where they want us. |
gbomojomo:This is the real koko. After 20 years together & 5 kids & another on the way, I guess no man already caring for 5 kids would insist on abortion. The probability is very high that the preggy is not his. What if tests have already showed him that he cannot father a child anymore? But the lady is unaware. The lady did not complain of domestic abuse or that the man does not provide for his family or that the man womanises or cannot satisfy her in bed. These are the 4 biggest complaints wives have. Who knows when the man became aware of the pregnancy or since when argument over the pregnancy began already? Yet she sued for divorce. She did not wait to have the baby first before divorce, at least to be born within wedlock considering their religion. I guess the real owner of the pregnancy is waiting for her. That way, she can quickly marry her lover before she delivers. Clever but dubious woman. |
Very stupid set of people. That guy na mumu raised to power trillion. Do not be surprised if there is no borehole in his village to provide clean water. And his cousins playing draft under the mango tree. |
NobleG1:The system can be a lot better for sure. But there are still many competent ones. Especially among the older generation. Of course some of them trained abroad. My biggest problem with 9ja doctors is attitude issue. A doctor does a far better job by respecting and listening to a patient. Though migraine and brain tumour might have certain symptoms in common, a good listener would have spotted the differences through patient history. How can he just recommend surgery without a brain scan, at least a CT or MRI scan? And the acute fever diagnosis, as a result of what? Meningitis? Very puzzling. ![]() |
hUmaneOne:Well, not so fast. Many things are bastardised in 9ja. Not every doctor is a surgeon. It is a specialty requiring many years of postgraduate training. But jack of all trade stuff is common in 9ja. An abnormally shaped or sized kidney can present very differently. Have you seen a kidney around 4 times its normal size due to kidney stone? They are now mostly anatomy museum pieces in the West. But with our poor health care system and poverty, I would not be surprised if such still exists in 9ja. Now they said he thought it was a tumour. What if he thought it was a kidney tumour? This is the problem with private practice in a porous system. There might be no senior colleagues to seek advice from in such a situation. If any suspicion of kidney racketeering, the MoH and NMA should investigate of course. |
Lol. The need to teach anatomy much better. The kidney might have been abnormally shaped. |
Great thread. |
This is the result of too much spirituality. |
Lolz. See kweshions. ![]() |
