Agriculture › Re: Battery Cages And Old Layer Birds For Sale by AreaFada2: 7:08pm On Aug 15, 2015
Dear poultry gurus, apart from being able to house more layers per quare metre, ease of cleaning and fewer damaged eggs, what are the other advantages of battery cages compared to allowing them move around freely on the floor? I want advice from experienced practising farmers.
My layers at grower stage are currently free on the floor.

Thanks.

Family › Re: How Third Parties Involvement Ruin My Parents Marriage by AreaFada2: 7:07am On Aug 15, 2015
While crying to God is a good thing, heaven help those who help themselves. Your hubby telling his buddies and family is a cry for help albeit erroneously. Sit your hubby down on a happy day and tell him your worries in that regard. Make him understand that you respect his trust in family and friends, since they have always been there for him. But that it is only you both who need to sort things out as two loving adults. That such going to third parties risk giving the impression that you both may not have the maturity to run your marriage peacefully. Also give him example of your parents.

I think this is some malicious rumour against Bubu, just like the Abobaku lies.

I don't support him politically but no way our change president can do this.
After all he said no office for his wife much less appointing a doctor of any description to be her SA.

The news will be rubbished when day breaks.

We actually need to export more, both Agric & finished goods. Good for jobs, earns hard currency and strengthens the Naira.

I asked several yam retailers in diaspora, to my dismay, the vast majority now import from Ghana.

They stopped getting from 9ja due to unreliability of supply. shocked shocked
Agriculture › Re: Ghana And Japan Overtake Nigeria In Yam Exports by AreaFada2: 10:44pm On Aug 14, 2015
I don't doubt it. I know old farmers who now do only plantain and oil palm.

Yam is a fussy plant. Pegging, tending to its branches and needs well-drained non-waterlogged soil, needs just right amount of rain & sunshine, ideally a cleared thick forest land.

Same fate might befall cocoa. It is another fussy plant.

Go to Agric section of NL, hardly anyone mentions cocoa or yam.

Until we modernise yam production, even some people in 9ja Middlebelt may give it up.

Hmmmm! but you did not give any real proof why u will take such a stand as a father. That's what I am eager to hear. Does anyone have a real story to back up these fears about female bank marketers or it's just perception?
The guy's dad and colleagues may have oiled a few marketers already. It becomes reality for the old man, not just perception. Of course certainly not all marketers sleep around. You see, Toks, women hate the truth fa. Never mind them saying they hate liars. You have warned them, let them heed or leave it. I tell my female friends the truth out there, then they look at you suspiciously. And I'm the guy that has never dated two girls at the same time yet I know many running 4 girls gingerly together. They even call me killjoy when I condemn it. But warn women and they turn on you as if you're the baddie. Just leave them.

As for me i dont believe in that lack of self control thing. Unless soneone truly has a psychiatric problem, every single thought that comes through a persons mind is well calculated before they cheat. Besides men are not wired one way and women differently. Everyone is unique irregardless of gender. Society just loves to put labels on things which is called social conditioning.
Im very deconditioned from society bcs i do what i feel is right. And also speak up for injustice.
Anyways, my turn on is not particularly successful men bcs i am practically a doctor now but men who look very nice, hot, sexy and clean. Basically i am turned on by looks. I got my own money so all that other stuff doesnt really matter to me for now. Well at least dnt be a bum ass nigga.
My dear, all women like those things you mentioned. But at the end they chose a guy who won't be a "liability". A euphemism for a poor guy. If they have a choice. Trust me, I know female colleagues who are successful senior physicians and surgeons. In 9ja currency, some take home about 50m Naira yearly. Some far more. They are financially comfortable. And none is married to or dates a hot, sexy clean janitor or kitchen help grin cheesy If anything successful women are more picky when it comes to men. A wealthy guy can marry a pretty but dirt poor girl.
Very rare with women, even more so African women. cheesy

Excuses excuses excuses. What about if there was a hot houseboy with a big dick. Or mai guard that looks sexy? Shey only men are visual creatures cause na only them get eye? Then me as a woman am blind. This nonsense needs to stop. If you can't practice self control fine! But it is not a mans nature to sleep around like a dog. Only animals do that. Why take vows if you cant live up to them. But yet u expect your wife to do so abi? He who has equity comes with clean hands. Also what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Thank G im not planning to marry a Nigerian man because with this mentality that most of yall subscribe to, a divorce is a sure banker.

P.S: All ye that lack self control. Let me paint a scenario for you. Lady is stark naked in your bed, beautiful and very sexy. No condom in the room. The door is locked so u have no where to go. She is seductive. But u know on very good authority she is HIV+. Will yall still fucck?
It goes both ways. That some housewives also knack maiguard, driver or gardner is no news. If they are the only ones readily available. grin cheesy

BUT women generally look to sleep with higher placed males in society. That is why female infidelity usually involves their boss at work, pastor or some other powerful or rich or someone in a position of authority. Power, wealth and status attract women.
Men are attracted more by basic biological stuff like curves, health, beauty & youthfullness of the female.

Men intrinsically want a fertile female, women want a male that can provide and help bring up kids over many years.

Iara & Osho Baba are a good example.

No matter how sophisticated we consider ourselves now, we're still just biological entities. grin cheesy

Would you mind telling us how those "saner climes" got to be like that huh

Or they were always like that since their days of being CAVEMEN?

I have clearly suggested a modern way of making changes legally in a modern society. Suggest your own ways. Or ignore it.

How many parents do you employ? How many "not so rich" distant relative kids do you sponsor at school? Do you volunteer your time for poor kids in society in a charitable way or help kids in any other selfless way?

If you don't, then you're not contributing to eradicating child poverty. So no matter how much you type here or question people, no single kid would have escaped possible servitude or child labour through your contribution. cheesy grin
Family › Re: When your maid becomes the madam. by AreaFada2: 1:42am On Aug 14, 2015

A minor can't work for pay legally.
So whoever you're paying to keep her as your maid is exploiting her with your help.
I'm sure you won't like to give your own child out to work as an underage maid to anyone but will encourage others to do so to children of poorer parents who are ignorant and greedy and won't mind using their kids to survive.

This is not one of those topics that one will be like just ignore them they are talking nonsense. You're actually here propagating child labor. An offense for which people serve jail time in saner climes.

Pls stop this nonsense. It's enough.
The fact is that in saner climes, those sane politicians have put a social safety net/social wellfare system in place. One cannot accuse most of our nutjob politicians of ever thinking of such. Even the 5k promise of Bubu, nobody hears of it now.

In such a situation, you have possibly millions of poor kids begging, weaving their way between cars hawking goods and generally fending for themselves and families however they can.

House help is just one of them. OP is facing reality here, not some fanciful idea of how it ought to be.

You might do well to petition NASS to enact robust and enforceable laws against child labour. Not those meaningless signatory to UN yada yada yada. But I wish you good luck with that o. Because you're talking of a country where 13 year olds can marry legally in some areas. grin cheesy

Nothing works in 9ja like in saner climes except those things God himself put in place. Shikena.
