Where is MUSIWA when you need him! Abeg, do you still propose Ikorodu as capital of New Benin Republic? If yes, make I begin find land to buy there o. ![]() |
mrmetoo1:. Ok. I understand. You see, many also tell their kids how great Sanni Abacha was, how the Naira was stable under him. You can get subjective opinions from parents, grandmother, uncles and so on. But you can read wide as an educated person. Now, I listed those parties to show the belief of many elderly people, which in turns influences young people. They think APC represents the progressive principles of Awo's AG. Hence the way my dad & many others joined AG and continued faithfully. But it's sickening to mention Buhari as having anything to do with Pa Awo's priciples & political ideals. What we have, is a few selfish SW leaders led by Tinubu, bastardising possibly the best & most progressive ideas of the last 100 years in Africa. Awo's progressive ideas that brought free education, a boost in Agriculture like Cocoa, palm, rubber, Broadcasting, education, infrastructure, you name it. A first in Africa in many respects. |
jude33084:. My brother I tire, with gud first aid, quick resuscitation and emergency surgery to evacuate internal bleeding and drip/blood given, some of those quickly declared dead by common road users might just survive. We regularly manage to keep some alive here in the West, some with horrible injuries. |
mrmetoo1:. Hahaha, my father said, my mother said. Not your own judgement or experience. My father is an APC chieftain in my area. But that doesn't becloud my judgement. He began as Action Group party agent and rose through UPN. Then AD, ACN and APC. Mixing with APC senators, honorables, one or two Governors during things like wedding in the family is not unusual. Still I base my judgement on my unique experience, not coloured by any party affiliantion. Not based on my elderly dad's political ideals that may not be for the 21st century. Well, I do not condone corruption, if you have genuine sources of information (I had an experienced investigative journalist in GMB's regime) that can stand a libel case, you're free to use it against anyone. |
Herzumpther:. Sure, still eating from her father's stolen 2.8 billion as oil minister. Money they moved from Midland Bank. |
Finally deservedly on fp. |
ok |
mrmetoo1:Lol, I laud Fashola's achievement. Irrespective of which party he belongs to. Many PDP people rubbish his record. But I'm NOT a PDP member. I saw/see some of Fashola's achievement & base my judgement on that. I presume you were a kid or not born yet during GMB's regime. Buhari did not fight any corruption the way people portray it. He merely punished Southern politicians like Dr Ekwueme & Pa Ajasin because they were not "his" people. Nothing against them. Shagari who was over all in charge was chilling in a mansion, Southerners with nothing against them or just mere party donation from contractors were in jail. Aside Barkin Zuwo (with lots of money in bedroom) and one or two other Northern 2nd republic politician, no other were punished. If you don't know the history behind Umaru Dikko & Buhari that motivated attempted crating, then you know nothing about them. My own close relative, a respected journalist of over 30 years then who tried revealing the hypocrisy of Buhari's govt was harassed and sacked from his civil service job. If Buhari is so clean and respects democracy, why did he refuse to appear before OPUTA PANEL? Ask GMB to return the 2.8 billion he stole as oil minister, that Shagari traced to London Midland Bank account in Buhari's name (the reason he quickly overthrew Shagari) & the mismanaged 25 billion (as found out by OBJ) at PTDF under his watch. When I briefly met GMB & heard his live speech when he was head of state, I thought he was decent until he unleashed his brutality. Then we can talk of anti-corruption stance. Now do you dispute any of those things GEJ achieved so far? Like new universities, Almajiri schools, Nissan producing in Nigeria, working railway?? |
mrmetoo1:I don't support any political party or campaign for anyone. But I detest seeing people all parroting each other. No critical analysis. Like I said, Fashola on his own is a decent guy. For APC to shun Fashola & present an old cargo coup plotter and therefore a treasonable felon just hoping to grab central govt shows how cynical & power-hungry APC is. Oshodi clearing, the infrastructure and so on are Fashola's achievement, not APC. Similarly: 12 Federal universities built, 250 Almajiri schools in the North, boom in Agriculture & Nissan & others making cars again, renovated & new airports, 50,000 ghost workers removed from Federal civil service, Fertilizer scam stopped using e-wallet, near-sufficiency in food production/agric boom. Railway working again, Second Niger Bridge on track, Federal roads fixed n getting fixed & so on are GEJ's achievement, not PDP's. Because OBJ was there for 8 years and he built only a private university (Bells University)for himself. Atiku did same (ABTI American University). Even the debt cancellation was not unique to Nigeria. Ghana & others had debt cancelled at same time. EFCC was used to cower political opponents. Equally Boko disaster is GEJ's failure, although Northern sponsors, saboteurs & feudalists are behind it. |
mrmetoo1:. Don't forget FG invested massively in Lagos before. Lagos had Jakande & Marwa. Even Mobolaji before that. That Foundation was already laid for Lagos. That's the reason head offices of multinationals were ordered to come to Lagos as Federal capital, they pay the huge taxes Lagos now use to do projects in addition to borrowing hugely. Don't pretend as if AD/ACN/APC just came a few years ago and did everything. But it is your new Messiah, Buhari who cancelled Jakande's laudable Metro project, the same cancellation expert you guys want us to believe will rescue Nigeria. I know Lagos of the 1980s, population was still manageable, exactly the perfect time for that Metro. And I have lived in several National or commercial capitals, be it London, Paris, Zurich, Hamburg, etc, they all attract people from the regions, so Lagos is no different. |
ramdris:. Do you know that when slavery ended in America, many slaves didn't want to leave their slave masters. Because they had never known freedom, so bondage was their way of life for such a long time. It took a long time for them to see the light. And 16 years is a long time. While Fashola on his own is a decent guy, his master Tinubu is a slave master. ![]() |
missclassy:My dear, it's a common thing like Gala & Lacasera. Blemish ko, sex-famished ni. This lady is just not sophisticated. Dazzal. Promiscuity has nothing to do with level of education. People can pretend here all they like. I have had several married ladies on my back over the years. Only the Grace of God. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT IMAGE OP PRESENTS. The woman took a vow during her wedding. Be sure of one thing. That lady will not be coming with a condom to fvck this guy. This lady is married, imagine when she wasn't married yet. The simple reason why 50% of firstborn kids & 30% of all kids don't belong to their assumed biological dad. Pervasive infidelity. It's no news anymore. |
meiloya:. My brother, if I knew the strategy, I'd be very unpopular with the ladies BUT I'd have a VERY FAT bank account indeed! ![]() Sadly, there's isn't really. Most of the strategies if followed, it's what Nairaland ladies like to describe as follows: deeply insecure, has trust issues, snoops around an innocent girl/wife, he does not even trust himself, he knows he doesn't deserve the woman, not man enough, he's sexist, misogynist, etc. One feminist wannabe or the other will find a way to use one of the above even if completely irrelevant. Basically, it will involve carefully monitoring and observing her right from courtship. Try to know the reason she's with you. Is it because you're successful or at least presented yourself as such? Or is it love? Is she VERY materialistic and is only concerned about beautiful things now or talks about achieving solid goals for the future together? How does she react to a situation when money is not flowing or when you pretend money is not flowing? How do you rate her principles, morality and integrity. Be aware that ladies are experts at pretending. Understand her environment and upbringing. I say upbringing rather than religion because religion has been so bastardised now, that the married pastor might even be the one who disvirgined her. So all that stuff is losing credibility fast. Only God knows his people now. Fact is from your observations, you might be able to tell to some extent. But remember, ladies keep their game very close to their chest. For them, fear of exposure and public disgrace is very big, so they take extra precautions. Playing the part and presenting the perfect picture of a virtuous woman is all important. If killing you the husband is what it will take to protect that fake image, she'll have no qualms doing it. |
@OP. People keep forgetting Area Fada's Law of Female Culinary Prowess, it states that: The deliciousness of a girl's meal is directly proportional to the number of joysticks she has tasted. Which also can be put differently as: The deliciousness of a girl's meal is indirectly proportional to virginity. deliciousness of a girl's meal = 1/Virginity + k dm = 1/V + k Where k = constant ( ingredients used are constant). Follow this law & you will never come to NL to ask such an embarrassing question. Voila! |
But who knows if the PZ presentation ceremony man is the actual biological dad? From DNA tests, 50% of first born kids belong to another man outside. 30% of all kids belong to another man outside. It can be a neighbour, former boyfriend/sugar daddy, work colleague, client, best friend's husband, husband's best friend, driver, gateman, etc. This might be the real dad coming out at last. Lots of women have many dirty secrets. ![]() |

CFCfan:. But as you know very well, there's currently no incentive to decentralise. The FG just has too much on its plate. Devolution would seriously lighten the burden on FG. But that would also mean loss of some power. Certain sections of Nigeria are vehemently against it. |
CFCfan:. True, but among them are elected people. President, VP, govs, deputy govs etc. Ultimately, the president signs the bill or refuse to. But I think the input of stakeholders from the states would be important IN CERTAIN CASES. This would not include defence, foreign policy, national economy/budget etc. Hopefully by then, there would already be State police service. As it is, people who carry out the bulk of job ruling us on day to day basis are unelected. The National Cabinet if full of unelected people. They spend our money, award contracts, implement policies, issue trade licences, represent us abroad in international summits, etc. Maybe ministerial appointments should be looked at. |
It's funny that people don't know the different types of aroma that emanate from various VJs is not really all that. Obs & Gynae docs would rather not do it if at all possible. What you treasure so much, is just another birth canal, with the doc saddled with responsibility of checking & ensuring it can do its job. A doc might just be checking the cervic os (mouth of the cervix) to ensure it's not open. But you rarely need to do that if no history of miscarriage. |
CFCfan:. It can have mixed function, but veto power in certain areas. Such as creation of new states, constitutional amendment & devolution of power to states. State Houses of Assembly already have powers concerning wholesale change of Federal constitution. If not full veto, it should certainly have the powerful to push bills back to parliament for reconsideration & amendments. This would ensure a unicameral parliament does a thorough job before asking for presidential assent. This would also allay the fear of some that the party with majority in the House can use support of smaller allied parties to pass bills, with other relatively big parties having no say. NC would be a "checkpoint" before assent. |
CFCfan:That makes sense. More than about 250 MPs is sheer waste of time & money. Instead of a second chamber, something like National Council/NC (like the German Bundesrat) instead of current Council of State parading former coup plotters. NC Comprising the President, VP, current Supreme court chief Justice, Federal Attorney- General, every state gov & FCT minister and possibly 2 other reps from each state. Can be deputy govs & state attorneys-general. This NC can deliberate on laws passed by the Federal parliament before presidential assent in certain areas and some other specific functions. Just to ensure that the unicameral parliament is doing its job in a balanced way. To meet once monthly. Nobody should be paid extra to do this, as all are already paid by the state. Except where the president summons the NC in emergency, when sitting expenses can be paid. |
CFCfan:Nigeria cannot afford a bicameral legislature. If things are done properly, I can't see Bayelsa with say 6 MPs having problems with Lagos having about 16 MPs in a unicameral legislature. |
Kedam:. That doesn't really work. From my experience. She's sure that he's free. Such a friendship never ends well. Never an amicable ending. It takes a lot for a girl to give unsolicited green light. Girls take rejection very badly. We guys are used to girls playing hard to get and all. If you move to a place you both won't see often, better. In my case, I changed jobs about a month after I sat her down to politely say we both CAN NEVER be lovers. But even that one month was like hell, she won't greet me or answer me. That's how bad it can get with girls. @Lizabeth25, usually you don't have to have led her on. It is usually that you're just a carefree and genuinely, respectful person. The type she wants but never gets attention from. Being close to you now, she wants to grab your attention by all means. If that fails, she tells herself "I'm not gonna let this one get away from right under my nose". She becomes bold and starts making it obvious. Usually, others in your environment notice it before you. Surprisingly, you will be the only guy or one of the few who never asked her out. Funny world. |
hotice01:Ok Sir, I will get back to you. |
Zico5:. In some areas, some private schools pay 6k to 10k per month. NCE holders for that matter. Upon all the stress. You go nearly weep for them. |
Looks like a cheap imitation of what you see in many Western countries. It certainly looks out of a place to me. From the pic, it might look impressive viewing it with "9ja eyes". Maybe the pics don't do justice to it like some said. I have seen pics of Abuja mansions that look more impressive. |
Lordabas:. Guy, you just made up this story, right? If not, just try to listen to yourself: "I want to date (possibly marry) my bother's ex-girlfriend or ex-fvck mate". I hope that rings very cool to you. Just the kind of girl you always wanted. Brilliant. While you are at it, it appears during her "young, naïve & wild days", she probably slept with loads of guys. Wild and naïve girls are very unlikely to use condom. At least get a proper STI test before you start enjoying your own share of it. Bonne chance! |
Dude you still have not posted pics of the land here. |
is this car registered |
dkronicle:. Powerful people are behind Boko, so Boko can even bring a weapon as big as Ship house in Abuja into 9ja. Same people want election conducted at a time boko is in control of large areas of North-East. They loathe the current momentum against Boko because it doesn't fit into their narrative and propaganda. |
Rawani:. Even with over 800,000 PVCs still to be printed as at 18/02/2015? That's what Jega admitted to senators yesterday. How can you conduct credible elections with so many cards not yet printed and millions not distributed? Haba! That would have plunged Nigeria into another avoidable crisis. |

Now I'm confused. You said maybe I wasn't born during the regime, I said I was but I was very young so I don't remember. All I said was I asked those who remember to know if it was a horrible period for them and they said NO. I mean is that hard to understand? Who should I have gotten answers from if not from those who lived during the regime? How does it mean they're the ones influencing my decision right now?
