Well, nothing here. The guy chatted you up and you agreed. It's unethical on the bursar's part as a person in a position of authority but it's not illegal. Unless of course you're a minor, which I doubt after 3 years in a higher institution. You basically have a brand new sugar daddy. Congrats. ![]() |
fosterkid:. OK ladies & gentlemen. Like many NLers, I don't normally comment on threads like this. What people need is help and less talk. Although a few words of encouragement to the person in need and everyone helping in any way would never go amiss. Considering how much this young lady needs for her treatment, such doubts by fosterkid and some others are not helpful. Can r123, Chairwoman Chaircover and any other respected TEHN figure come and clarify this matter. Just to assure everyone. Is it fully verified? We cannot afford to lose momentum, her wellbeing is at stake. By the way, is there any paypal option? A non-Nairalander friend was asking. God bless you all as you give your time, prayers and funds generously. |
nice2muphy:. Pliz show pics here. Pics say more than a thousand words |
ok |
hmmmm |
iyoema:. Price per acre sir |
hotice01:How far exactly from Lagos Road and what is the size? Which title documents are available? |
It also represents the values or lack of that our women have today. There's something called plan B but no. They want to be attached to a celeb. Women will start asking why blame the ladies. Well, babies grow inside women, birth them and baby outside wedlock affects women more than men. |
We Africans seem to not have enough confidence to Africanise our English. USA, Australia, Canada, all now have their own version of English. @OP, severally also is not in the dictionary. |
Abbey2sam:He wasn't even mentioned at all in the List. The Olowo is the most influential Oba in Eastern part of Yoruba land, situated exactly half-way between Benin Kingdom & Ife Kingdom. Politically, the Action Group was launched at the Palace of Olowo by Pa Awo, the largest Royal palace in Nigeria. OLOWO of OWO. Folagbade Olateru Olagbegi III (CFR, SAN). Born, 1942) is the traditional ruler of Owo (Olowo of Owo), Ondo state, Nigeria. He is the eldest son of the late Olowo of owo, Sir Olateru Olagbegi (1910–1998). He succeeded is father as the Olowo of Owo in 1999 but was given the staff of office as the Olowo of Owo on December 11, 2003 by late Olusegun Agagu, former executive governor of ondo state, Nigeria. He celebrated 15th coronation anniversary in 2014. Oba Folagbade Olateru olagbegi was born into the ruling family in Owo. He is the eldest son of the late Olowo of Owo, Sir Titus Olateru Olagbegi II. He received his first degree in law from London, UK and attended Nigeria Law school, in 1968. He rose to the peak of his career as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. Folagbade obtained a bachelor degree in Law from London, Uk. He later returned to Nigeria to practice Law under the late Fatai Williams. He was a lecturer in Nigeria law school, where he retired as a reader in 1991 and now a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). He was appointed as Chancellor of University of Benin (Nigeria) in 2005 and now a chancellor in University of Abuja, a federal university in the federal capital territory Nigeria. Folagbade was the former chairman of the Ondo state council of Oba. |
Which year model is this car sir? |
hmmm |
yep |
atlwireles:. Clueless will be = clever Like teenagers now use d.ope or wicked to mean "cool". ![]() Seun, why u dey change D.OPE to drug na? Abeg o. ![]() |
allanphash7:. Ok, please proceed to Syria after that. ![]() |
Another Nigerian returned about £78k equivalent (in various currencies) he found in a telephone boot. That was in the 1990s here in Europe. A very nice guy with 3 or 4 kids and a wife back in 9ja. I still remember many of our friends telling him his people in the village had followed him to Europe. Determined to make him remain poor. Every time I tell people this incident, 90% don't believe. They say a 9ja man, an Igbo for that matter, cannot return such money. ![]() Fact is some people, irrespective of tribe or nationality, can be extremely honest. |
tartar9:. How many average person would return that money? Let alone a lady on N7,800 a month? Maybe you should go ask our already rich politicians why they still loot our commonwealth. Give kudos where it's due. |
Daninya11:Do you know the billions of bacteria there are in the VJ? Ever heard of lactobacilli that flourish in the acidic milieu of VJ? That bacteria hypothesis doesn't work, at least not from a scientific or medical perspective. Sure the gut has lots of microbes to break down food. Sex begins in the head mostly. The psychological drive for heterosexual sex is the attraction to the opposite sex and her features (towards a lady) , not her VJ, which is not publicly on display. Boobs, bum and curvature play more role in attracting a man. A man has broad chest, muscles, nice legs, etc. Your post here is based on assumption, not scientific research regarding the nature of homosexuality. I have interviewed hundreds of gay people in my line of work. Their gay history began in pre-teenage and teenage years, being attracted towards boys. Many had depression from having to conceal their sexuality. My interaction with gay patients shows that they are much more aware of STD prevention & are also more likely to seek help for post-exposure prophylaxis, for suspected HIV risk. That's why gayism is no more the main cause of HIV spread, but heterosexual sex. The nature of gayism is much more complex. And it's here to stay. |
AnnieAnnie:I wonder. A list without Olowo of Owo in top 10 is a joke. |
We can now see why some people were raising dust when the elections were postponed even within the spirit of the law. Some sinister machinations busted. |
DaBullIT:. Ha hahaha, I doubt if you have contributed more than me. Like many Diasporans, I'm a net contributor, earning no salary from govt or private sector but creating wealth and jobs through investment. From carpenter to bricklayer, to architect, to mechanic, to maiguard, to labourers. etc. If that's not contribution, maybe you can use voodoo economics to explain what is. ![]() Until then, Aufwiedersehen. |
DaBullIT:Lol, well, like anu.s, everybody has his opinion. You appear a very biased person as seen in your political views too. When Yemi Adeshina was here in Europe working as a lecturer & going to 9ja to set up Agro business, I know people like you would have dismissed his efforts. Today, he owns Boyd Agro Allied LTD in Oyo State with branches in Osun and elsewhere. Look up his piggery, Fishery and other Agro business on you tube. While many in 9ja spent the whole time moaning, he saw potential in Agric all the way from diaspora. What you may not know, is many diaspora people have a different attitude and perspective. From living in a "can-do" environment where high productivity & commitment is expected from you at work. Be it in Medicine, Engineering, law, accounting or even lowly cleaning jobs. |
ok |
And there will be news all over Indian media now about their citizen as a kidnap victim in 9ja. You can bet they won't publish this twist over there. I hope innocent Nigerians don't get lynched in India over this. |
I second Pavore. You can do various crops. Even watermelon. You can still try cassava on one or two hectares for a test run. If you're somewhat risk shy, variety would be ideal. |
DaBullIT:Point of correction. 4 years and 11 months. Agriculture has never been as popular since 1970s as it is now. Friends and relatives who saw Agriculture as a dirty job 10 years back are now farming, beside their bank and civil service jobs, etc. I live in diaspora but visit several times yearly. I'm now also going into farming in 9ja. The environment has never been as conducive. Yes I'm old enough to compare across these decades. If you live in 9ja or visit frequently enough, you should know. Please visit our Agric threads here on NL: https://www.nairaland.com/agriculture |
Very silly and angry man. Why not return it to the owner. Or at least dash am to one widow in your village. Smh. Imagine how many tonnes of plantain, cassava, yam and oil palm fruits the Hilux could still have transported over the next 10 to 15 years. ![]() |
lastpage:This actually happened to a female relative. Two weeks to wedding, her fiancé's relatives broke the news to her that another girl was close to delivering a baby for the dude. They told her as soon as they knew, not to be party to concealing that situation. She asked me what to do. My advice was simple. It's up to you. If you love him enough such that if he had impregnated a lady 5 years into your marriage, you would forgive him, then go ahead. If you'd walk out of the marriage even with kids in tow, no point going into the marriage. She went ahead and they are happy together. What makes a woman's case different is the possibility of bringing another man's child to you the husband. The other aspect of female infidelity is that they can be manipulated by their lover to harm you, even kill you especially if you're rich. Men have the programming to juggle several women under one roof. King David and others did it. |
Maamin:. Sure not true where people marry as virgins typically. Otherwise genetic labs have proven this. Also, 30% of all kids don't belong to their supposed biological dad. In cities like Lagos, PH etc, the kids belong to client that deposits money, neighbour, pastor, work colleague, husband's best friend, maiguard, driver, old boyfriend, old sugar daddy. The list is endless. As for first born, many girls have unprotected sex with two to three guys, sometimes until wedding night and beyond. Poverty and greed are major reasons. Brazilian hair, iPhone, BB, Dubai trip, school fees, rent etc. In about 10 years, DNA test kits will be available cheaply in pharmacies. Wind go blow fowl nyansh well well. Men should brace themselves. ![]() |
Gboliwe:. You have not seen anything. When they say half-baked graduates, what do you think it's all about? |
ilugunboy:. True, a person like GEJ who has seen how born-to-rule people have raped, pillaged his homestead and awarded oil blocks to themselves, even if he looks meek, he certainly cannot be a fool. Hence you have to pity those who call him clueless. In some parts of 9ja, opening your mouth wide, talking and bragging is considered a mark of cleverness. If you don't do that, you're clueless. ![]() |
neoapocalypse:. Hahahaha, I hope the rice sweet well well. Very reckless lady. She could easily have caught HIV and pass it to her husband, na wa o. Girls are not smiling these days o. In infidelity schemes, boys are learners now. ![]() |
