I have two Non-NLer friends currently joining resources to start a pig farm. Both are in full-time employment. No previous piggery experience. One of them suggests buying piglets, fatten them up and sell off after about six months. That way, a single full-time employee will do, at least for a start. Both will lend a hand after work and on weekends. About 40 to 50 piglets to begin with. The other prefers breeding piglets so that they can sell off some of them and fatten some up. That way, the business will grow quicker. He thinks they can manage about 10 to 15 sows for a start. What do gurus in the house think? Thanks. |
Lifebender:. This partitioning don due tay tay. |
Urhobo Wado! Urhobo are very smart, colourful & sociable people. I grew up with them & they are very easy to make friends with. Anyway where I come from, we don't consider them strangers. We have a common origin anyway, as the OP rightly posted. In my locality, my uncle the traditional ruler has made two Urhobo men (who came as young humble labourers to work for my grandad) chiefs. They distinguished themselves, had & raised highly successful children in the locality. We consider the kids (doctors, lawyers, engineers and so on) as indigenes. Impressive. |
goldfish80:. Paying school fees? Should chickens sef be housed in that kind of place? I think only fish pond or an area for pigs to cool off should it be considered for. |
Ruttashobolwa:. Na lie my brother. If they cared so much about election success they should have offered logistic assistance. Their intel are everywhere, including some of our politicians. They clearly knew INECs challenges. US are just stoking the flame of discord. Remember they still have 9ja breaking up in 2015 prediction to actualise. Suppose election goes ahead and it turns out 15 million people didn't get their PVCs, would that result be fair irrespective of who wins? In addition, with Chadian, Cameroonian troops & NA working more closely, they are recording some success against Boko. This momentum should be kept. Imagine US drones locating Boko in Sambisa but they won't tell FG or NA. Don't you wonder which side they are on? Who knows how Boko get intel about NA?? We may have failed in many ways as a country, but we are not that retar.ded not to know when others don't mean well for us. |
atlwireles:. Abeg just forget those Yanks matter. Na them sabi. As for people knowing whom they want to vote for already, you're right on paper. But with 21,000 out of 30,000 PUs allocated to the North, and hundreds/thousands of PVCs handed to Emirs instead of the rightful individuals PLUS VERY few PVCs distributed in the South, Northern APC rigging was clearly afoot. That plan may now be in danger. Otherwise, no reason to start raising dust over postponement, not cancellation. When their son Babangida cancelled the freest and fairest election till then, what did they do? A bunch of hypocrites. |
rago:. Are we so uncivilised to go to war over postponement that is within the law? |
EverestdeBliu:. No mind them. They talk from both sides of their mouth. They refused to help fight Boko Haram. They refused to help us fight Ebola. Like Ebola, we will defeat the scourge of Boko Haram. That time, they will come & learn how to fight ISIS, Al Qaeda and co. I nor blame them. I blame Buhari. If Buhari had not overthrown our democracy in 1983, our democracy would have matured and stabilised by now. America already face fierce competition with China, Brazil, India & others. They surely don't want another stable and powerful kid on the block like Nigeria, rising in Africa. |
jnrbayano:Joystick ko, wrinkly blokkors ni. ![]() |
musb92yahooco:Wetin concern bros Jona plus Boko with bossom feeding in the church again? Abi you hear say the thing happen for Otuoke? You nor know say mentioning Boko & church na bad market? |
The booob's entire circumference was on show.[/quote]. So you took your time to survey the radius, diameter, circumfrence and leghth of the equilateral triangle that could fit into the circle? And she was even sitting behind you. Meanwhile sermon was going on. Haba! Habatically! She's just a mum at that point, not some sexy chic revealing stuff. |
omoluabi87:. Also try to control rodents. Grasscutters can cause serious damage. They cut the stems and eat the pulp inside. Find out from people in the area if grasscutters are prevalent. |
meforyou1:. Like Brooking Insitution said: The only thing APC people stand for is Anti-Jonathanism, much of it fuelled bt closet-bigotry. It doesn't matter how ridiculous an idea is, if it's anti-Jonathan, then it's a gospel. Very funny set of people. Hausa-Fulani in addition want power back in the North. Some South-West leaders believe if you please Hausa-Fulani enough, you might just be lucky and get crumbs from their table. |
BigB11:All those brutal & STRONG DICTATORS of over 40years, where did they get Nigeria? Or Nigeria became an advanced country during Abacha's time? Nigeria is a place where loud mouth brutes and dictators are respected. If therefore people's programming from decades of dictatorial rule make them to have no respect for a civilised, educated, urbane and law-abiding leader, it is Nigeria's headache. Eventually everyone gets what he deserves and wishes for. |
Babare:. You have to pity Rivers State. As Amaechi dey burn their money. |
madjune:. Look, we all celebrated when Buhari firt came to power. He had massive support. He was even endorsed by Pa Awo then. Shagari's officials were becoming indifferent to the plight of the public. Inflation, unemployment as it was/seemed then. We hoped that like Murtala/OBJ era, there will be return to a better democracy within years. Even WAI was very popular. But soon, we saw Buhari had no plan to leave power, sacked workers, cancelled key projects etc. Then his decrees. Retroactive death sentence. Then a relative and co-workers who had become family friends lose job. Some returned from abroad in the 60s & 70s after studies to work in 9ja after turning down or resigning from decent jobs abroad. To save money is cool but at the cost of familes being pushed into poverty? Take Ambrose Alli for example: a professor of pathology (called morbid anatomy then). A contractor donated money to UPN. Did he deservethat ridiculous jail term? Take Pa Ajasin too. Tried, not gulity. Tried again, not guilty. He was still deatained. Haba. Jonathan has not performed optimally. But if you consider current global economy, FDI, employment, infrastural development, new universities, Amajiri schools etc. I cannot remember any govt in the past 30 years that came close. The powerful elite of 9ja control many things: companies, banks, oil blocks, followers/hangers-on, etc. Most of them got what they have via corrupt or shady procedures/processes. It is very complex and fighting the system and maintaining your position/presidency is DIFFICULT. OBJ found out. OBJ once said even Jesus would find it hard govening 9ja. Advanced democratic nations today took time to correct anomalies in their system. If GMB had not overthrown Shagari, our democracy would be 35 years old now. Constitutional amendments and refinement would have taken place since to strengthen it. Why do we have to recycle old generals? What happened to Fashola, Ribadu, El-Rufai, Duke and many others with track record? |
madjune:. Lol, Kids of university staff @ University demonstration Sec school obviously are on campus. Senior prefect & other school prefects obviously would be model students & SUG to meet an August visitor. Did you think all NLers are jambites? Left 9ja to study abroad decades ago. Buhari & boys destroyed education system. At least where I am, I got everything on merit. |
Moana:. Well, they might just be talking from experience over the years. Or you think around 20 or x number of men of that age have not dated women or even got married before? Your own wisdom can't be superior to the combined wisdom & experience of all those men. |
moca:We shall be free by God's grace. |
elantraceey:. My dear, hurry hurry and then get the whole thing wrong. |
Na wa o |
it would be useful if you could shine some light on it. Like where in Nigeria they can work? Are you an agent supplying staff on commission, your commission (if applicable), remuneration per staff per year/quarter, terms & conditions of employment. For example, I know of people seeking farm workers in Edo & Ondo but reliability of staff has been an issue. email: area.fada@yahoo.com |
So you mean people have not been cleaning their anu kinikon? Next time put a thread on how to put eba for mouth. ![]() |
Who's coming up with this April Fool story? Abeg, it's not April 1st yet. ![]() |
9ja na wa o. |
Raiders:. Which population? You mean cow population? Regional geography may not be your strength. Tell me anywhere in the world where arid and semi-arid areas have higher population than coastal or wet areas? Has Nigeria ever had a credible census since the British connived (as admitted by former British colonial officials) to rig census in favour of the North? Did Lagos state not dispute the higher figures for Kano (with Jigawa event cut from Kano State) than Lagos in last census? Yet Kano population still grew faster than Lagos over previous 10 years. A lie repeated again & again start to sound like the truth. |
madjune:Drop names? How? The relative is closer than a cousin. I never mentioned cousin/friend. Maybe your social status might make you see these things as impossible. Well, when I met Buhari, he was like 42 years old. Everybody still erroneously believed he had good plans for Nigeria. In fact he was addressing students in a campus. But it became obvious soon after that he was just another typical African dictator. No bright ideas. Wanted power for the sake of it. And to rescue his neck over his stolen 2.8 billion. Even if I had met him later, I wouldn't have told him so. After all, I had great plans for the future (that I'm lucky to realise now). Why would I risk early death or imprisonment from a dictator? Nigeria & Nigerians are not worth dying for. It is a mere crude oil and oil blocks contraption of a country. |
Cutehector4u:. I think the cancer risk is more due to the chemicals used for making the money. Like mercury in older currencies then. Rubbing off on boobs under the hot & humid condition. |
