LiteratureRe: My Book Of Rants! by ariblaze(op): 8:57pm On Feb 05, 2009
he came, he saw, he conquered,

people say that a lot,am sure even you do

i must admit i used to be in league with you all

until today that is 5/2/09, stuck in traffic, emotions in turmoil

from the left wing the saying hit me, i have lived life

this in its sense means i came,had experiences,some good,some

bad, some i will never speak of and some happening right now

this can be likened to seeing

now the one i have issues with is conquering, who did i conquer?

would that be members of other clubs in school that i bounced at my party?

or the junior whose life i made miserable in the military school?

maybe my mechanic that i terrorise because i think he is trying to buy a car off me?

my colleagues who see in in awe and an enigma?

most of this people, might not give a shit if i was to die today

as death conquers all, what is my gain?

the people i alienated in my quest to conquer?

thus i change the saying atleast for myself to

i came, i saw, i loved and i
will live a good life

and not making a mockery of my wife or family by writing things like
I have come close to a party, last year one of my bedmates came in from Enugu,
com'n bro act your age

RomanceRe: Real Life by ariblaze(m): 11:35am On Feb 05, 2009
@GINODRAM

chairman olori oko

alas oko omoge

wanted to ignore you at first , but then thought you would prolly think you have written something sensible

so lets see

am resident in lagos and have enough ladies at my disposal,
like dirty cloths she?

what say you if i claimed this same ladies have many guys at their disposal, where you are just a part of the statistic?

or you and probable very few men can handle more than one solid relationship i am not talking about one based on understanding of sex

or where you are basically her financial benefactor

then this
they must either be jobless - cant afford to keep a girl
this really got me reeling

i think you are my good sir the jobless one

because if its the lagos i know the average guy works in a bank, telco, or a co operate firm

lives on the island works on the mainland, commuting to and from work takes about 3hours on a good day

that discounts the weekdays, and the weekends unwinding with the boyz whilst trying to live the resemblance of a life consumed by work

doesnt that make you the jobless one sir,
because if a guy that does this routine makes the statement you made
the so many ladies would prolly be numbers of girls he would call up and pay for the services

i observe most of the guys on NLand are kids or young adults
you are like 45 huh?

silly boy dont come here spewing crap

if you do, you will get schooled again

Some aren’t as big as you expect
When its all over, you will either have
A big smile or a big frown on your face

I don’t get this. . . why does it have to be that she has been stung to express herself on this matter?

Going by your logic, one could easily say thou art protesting a wee bit too much because as far as I can see you seem to be the only guy. . . ya know affronted by this

Just sayin' undecided
hello ma

i am not affronted by the statement

i just think its generalisation

the poster is dating a nigerian

bet he fell in love sooo quickly too lol

They can't even fall in love with the most beautiful, submissive, respectable Nigerian lady in the world.
the statement on the other hand stems from someone hurt before

and this statement

no im not stung im talkin from reality
confirms it, writer is just in denial

if Nigerian men are that bad

its a wonder we get married atall

and at least 60% have wonderful marriage lives

and sure i protest, because women on this forum

have a way of making the men look like base animals

RomanceRe: Who Is A Husband Material? by ariblaze(m): 6:38pm On Feb 04, 2009
@sistawoman

nicely put, you do remind me of what i think someone would be like lol

but you missed the question sha, you described husband not material

the material is what would make him husband

@post

a husband/wife material

is that person that meets the criteria you have set down for your what your perfect spouse should be

irrespective of the person's character i noticed the poster said homely, not all men want that

some want a laid back person, some want a serial spitfire, some want some who will challenge them mentally, emotional, academically, insipre them spiritually i.e telling you to read victory over hamas and joining you in prayers, yet not frown at your lifestyle nor shy from going hanging out with your boyz alongside you.

while some prefer,a woman who would cower before them, someone to dominate
RomanceRe: Is Love A Curse? by ariblaze(op): 6:22pm On Feb 04, 2009
very intelligent writes

if i say so myself

but you all seem to be of the opinion that love has to be fifty fifty

no it doesnt,i respectfully disagree

i dont think one shoul love because you expect to be loved back

it is wonderful when it is returned in equal fold but its not mandatory

hence the love triangle

love is no curse, just alot of us abuse it, and sometimes confuse it with lust/hate.
how do we abuse it?

do we abuse in the name of love

or we abuse the act of loving itself

and please i will like to know how a grown man who has being around the bloc

for a while will confuse love for lust/hate

i have felt hate

i have felt like

i have felt lust

i have felt indifference

i am just feeling love for the first time in life

tell me the scenerio above, how can a person confuse that?
