smithoo: Federal Govt and the state Govt should just terminate the employments of all striking doctors and pay everyone off. They should start fresh recruitment to fill these vacancies with good but strict condition of service. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. It might take a long time to fill those vacancies but at the end those vacancies will be filled. Being a medical doctor does not make you a good administrator. All our health institutions are been headed by medical doctors and most are in shambles. These people must be humbled else they will hold this nation to ransom. People lifes have been lost due this strike, can they bring those lifes back after the strike is called off. Terminate them and let see if some will not shift ground and begged to be recalled. LAGOS STATE under once tried it but it was resolved amicably. This time let it be total.

Am pregnat. doctor say lets find out, Go for a test.
Am feeling feverish- Doctor says lets find out whats really wrong with you, go for a test.
Am very sure the so called lab technician, can tell what result is positive for any ailment and a pharmacist can tell u what drug and what dosage u need to get cured....Every consultant just gives u a list of (lab technician's) test that decides which of the (pharmacist's) drugs to use..It make one wonder what they can really do without test and drugs..

Thirdly I didn't even know the DG of nafdac was a dr till recently. Believe it or not if his only qualification was prof of medicine I would join psn to picket fgn.

Nobogy ever said that nafdac must be headed by a dr. So we aren't greedy. He was qualified. Period.

Post 1 neither does being a pharmacist give you a good knowledge of food. So who has some knowledge of all drugs food hospital health. Am sure you know who the current nafdac DG is.

The post you quoted is not interpretation that's getting a result. What the scientist knows is that this sample has this result left to the scientist he will simply give the drug for the result ( treating the result) not the patient.

Morotov1: Oh please, what other management do you give to a CVA patient whether hemorrhagic ( cerebral aneurysm etc) or ischaemic after the initial stabilization.?? Most people don't have stroke at the hospital but at home only to be taken to the hospital when the deed has been done where the condition is confirmed, patient stabilised and send for rehabilitation. While some people opt for the hospital route , some go straight for rehabilitation. And to think that a stroke victim takes himself to the hospital is funny .....well maybe in mild cases.
Don't attack my knowledge but the Nigerian factor, ever done a survey research This is not textbook version but Nigerian reality.

So you agree that a stroke patient should be stabilized first before rehab.

Would you consider your relative who has a stroke come directly to a physio for rehab without a neurologist assessing him. Will you allow that? You know the evolution of a stroke.
