The sit down tell it all was very interesting.

Harry has a humbled personality - Maybe the several trips to Africa really humbled him.

The part he was sitting with boots on like a farmer in his poultry was cool. I will like to have one of their free range chicken stew.

Meg almost hurt herself - one can't understestimate negative media or gossips.

The most important thing is they are happy with their decision to forge their own future.

I hope his dad embrace them and welcome his grand children.

I will love to see them continuing their charity work.

The most important thing for now in the next few months is healings for you and your wife - don't worry about your mother for now.

I'm sorry for all you both are going through. Take care of yourselves.

Dapcity007:
I never celebrated IWEALA at all for her status in the global community for her success as an African & woman

She was elevated not based on her competency but because of identity politics, inclusivity, quota policies and affirmative action for women and blacks

I'm a pragmatic, she had nothing to show for in terms of contribution to Nigeria's economy as minister of finance during Jonathan regime upon all her ivy league academic credential in foreign universities, as MD of IMF she only serves the interest of globalists not any specific nation , same thing she would do in WTO
Dapcity007:
I agree freedom of choice let's stop shaming housewives for their decisions, these gynocentric era mainstream media should promote motherhood as they promote women to aspire in their chosen carriers and professions
Mrs. Okonjo is married with four successful children - you should celebrate her for that housewifey role.

Be accommodating to others who are different from you. It doesn't change who I am if I go into a restroom and a transgender is in the other one. We all should coexist.

doxijaw:
It's the other way round. Conservatism is the bedrock of fiscal conservative policies.

Trans issues are not a big deal lol, you want grown hairy men sharing bathrooms with your daughter?

What's actually intellectual about leftism?, with their hatred for order, wealth creation, science and common sense.

Yeah double digit iq indeed!

Christianity Etc › Re: Man Donates His Family House To Christ Embassy, Family About To Be Thrown Out by armyofone(m): 12:59am On Mar 03, 2021
Yeah also possible after he built the house, he asked his parents to move in. Then cousin 1 came to visit followed by cousin 2, 3 and 4. They all came to visit but didn't go back.
Son asked them to leave before they ruin his home but pa said no they should stay. He doesn't have time to fight so he gifted the house to the church. Maybe after years of quarrel and abuses.
It is common just that some don't donate but fight to get back their home.

hush15:
These people are not saying the truth. His son abroad can't and won't give a house his father built or contributed to build.

Am sure they short changing the guy on the property he sent money to build and the thinking of how to get back at them decided to go that route.

People may blindly attack the church but think am, you say na family house but na only the boy papa with four tenants dey stay house! Is that a family house.

Lmao grin exactly. Exactly what I thought happened. I pity the aged father though.
With four cousins living there, it is easy to see what the real story was all about.
I hope he rented a place for him.

mastermaestro:
Simple. grin grin I am sure he is pissed with his family. grin grin On the part of the church, they will not release the house documents because the guy is ready to testify against his family anytime, anywhere.
How this case will end wholly depends on the donor (owner). Unfortunately the donor will tell his family that he doesn't want to lose his 'blessing'. grin grin
Christianity Etc › Re: Man Donates His Family House To Christ Embassy, Family About To Be Thrown Out by armyofone(m): 10:35pm On Mar 02, 2021
I agree with you. Just imagine grin that part of the story. I think the house belongs to Shed guy and he is tired of having a home in Nigeria so gifted it to the church.

mastermaestro:
I am not taking sides. But I strongly believe that the donor is the sole owner of the house. The family is grieved because they have no alternative accommodation. Since it has to do with church and pastor, everyone will twist the story to dent the image of the church. How could many people contribute to build a house? Lame defence to get public sympathy.
For them to say that he brought the lion's share proves that he singlehandedly built the house.
It is not a family house. People should learn to tell the truth.
Christianity Etc › Re: Man Donates His Family House To Christ Embassy, Family About To Be Thrown Out by armyofone(m):
Most likely it is his house - also they said he contributed the lion share...Someone can't just come from abroad and ask people living in a home to move out now.
You don't have to be privy to deduced some things.
Maybe it is nollywood story sef.

But for the father - he should have rethought the whole thing...anyway Nigeria story - there is always more to it.

DarkJeddi:
Where did you read that it is his house?
Are you privy to any other information apart from the one contained in the OP?
Christianity Etc › Re: Man Donates His Family House To Christ Embassy, Family About To Be Thrown Out by armyofone(m): 9:36pm On Mar 02, 2021
It is his house - since he feels he, his wife and children are not coming back or if they do, they will build a new home, he is free to donate to charity.

Those family living in it should move out.

Who knows they have been living there for years free of charge and responsibility while fighting the guy over his house.

Isn't this too much for monthly expenses? If you spend this in a month, you have to net atleast $10k monthly.
Not too much. Living in a good community is great idea and cost more...rent 2000 or more or mortgage 4000 or more such community.

No matter how the head strong reach, if they stand on it, the head no go broke ? The head na rock ?

IyaTola:
People would be angry/bitter at uncles & aunties for not taking care of them but not with the parents who had them with no future plans. Your parents have 8 kids but your uncle with 4 kids is wicked because his children travel for summer when you haven't paid school fees. Howhuh

"A friend's elder sister was married off at a young age so he could go to Uni. He's working now & is burdened with raising his sister's children & the other kids his parents kept having while he was at Uni (the youngest is barely 6).

It's a very long, lonely road ahead for him."

That said, Black Tax is EVIL!
It's not older/richer child responsibility. It's not love or duty. It's not parental enjoyment of the fruits of labour. It's EVIL.

This thing, where parents heap their heavy burden of other children on the first child or the child who earns more.

Now that you're done with school, you must take care of the family. Now that you're a banker, you must start paying fees for your younger ones. Now that you're this, now that you're that.

A first daughter has been married for barely three months. Her husband happens to be quite well-off. She asked her siblings not to make any demands from the man, as it won't tell well of their family. But her younger sister believes she's wrong, and wants to go over her head and ask her brother-in-law for money. After all, the man is generous and will give if asked. Besides, he should be catering to his wife's family of five. Not to mention siblings who become entitled, lazy and oh-so-demanding.

A friend asked if a certain federal university in Nigeria charged 200k per session. That's what her younger brother asks for each year - minus books, practicals, exam fees, photosynthesis and parallelogram undecided. She's working her butt off abroad, slaving for ungrateful, thieving, lying twats! .

On the rare occasions that she complains, her parents throw out one proverb about how the head of a first child is for the younger siblings to stand on. My heart breaks for the mostly oldest children in their forties and late thirties, who haven't had the chance to build investment portfolios, have reasonable savings, find love and marriage, buy themselves new things, build their dreams - because they're caring for younger ones.
