My mom didn't use any house help and dealt with half current light. She royally made her soup and leave it on the stove for some days while making sure to warm it morning and evening . As long as no one ''shook hand" inside the pot to take meat , the soup tasted alright.

My wife wakes 4am each day to prepare the kids for school and also cook that early morning. We do not eat leftover foods. She's a super woman i must confess. Whenever i go out late i help in sweeping and arranging the house. She told right from our wedding she does not want a maid.

Take turns bathings the kids....ofcourse one can do more than the other.
Any one can grocery shop-give him list with explanation what type of tomato or okra you want and leave room for mistakes.
Cook in bulk during the weekend and sometimes get healthy take out on the way home.
Do laundry as you go and folding on the weekend. If he doesn't join you, ask him - babes, I need help here...still on the phone with friends? By the time you call him 3 times, he will know you mean business
I think both of you can do it. Hire an adult and pay them to help but made sure your husband joins you in home management.
