Recently, the house of assemply just passed the Cross River Xmas Festival bill into law, what of a bill that would bring food to the table of an average Calabar person? This is a government that has misplaced its priority. I still maintain, how many people can afford going to Tinapa or the Ranch resort? I'm well informed about this place because it's my hometown.

Are you saying that it will be better to make the calabar environment very dirty and dis organised? What point are you really trying to stress out?

Touch of class! The slogan for Calabar should be " Come lets spoil you a little". Good job!

Rat with long nose is a good rat but the one with short nose is bad and evil. Imported gins and wines are good for the state but local brews are bad. Why not put incentives in place for this local brewers to improve on the quality of ogogoro and encourage them to grow instead of destroy them.

You said it all, jobs need to be created by the state for all these youths who engage themselves in excessive alcohol consumption. Most of these impoverished people drink excessively because of frustration and lack of hope in life.

To me, the leaders in Benue state are the cause of the social and economic breakdown because of their lack of forsight and proper logical planning and not Ogogoro.

This is what I call complete human being. The way most Nigerians reason and think most of the times stinks, mainly our so called highly educated ones.

Fashola is leaving a legacy and I can see many idiots are not comfortable with what he is doing. I just pray that this good work he started will ever continue.

Get Your MIND right brother and check b4 you bump your gums OK just because they said its equipped for fire fighting does not mean jack!, Case and point - An Ambulance in Nigeria is a van or car with a siren on top (No life support equipment, No trained EMT's ) just a driver and maybe the universal CROSS sign on the vehicle. Is that an ambulance?  NO! So there are a lot of facilities that have to be put in place before a Helicopter can become an effective Surveillance,Medical or Emergency rescue aircraft, Get out of Philly and check out the REAL World Bro.

But you have to wait first and see if the Governor was telling lies. He said that the helicopter is multi-tasking and I believe him. Again, I would have thought that helicopters can be landed anywhere whether with or without helipad. I am getting confused now!

He is a Nigerian. There are few like him around but not given the opportunity. But I must add here, I am not trying to sound very divisive, the Yorubas and people from Cross River state and Akwa Ibom seems to have better qualities for transformational leadership.

We should all be praying for this guy. He is doing a very good job at the moment.

I think we should all press the brake pedal now. Somehow, this is going too far. We are talking about peoples race here and issues like this should be approached with caution. You never know what goes on on the internet.

Unless by luck! I dont have confidence in this present team. The way they concede goals is very shocking. They are very poor technically and most players in this current team play much with their muscles than with their brains.

Right from the last cup of nations in Ghana, this team has been very disappointing. The killer instinct that past eagles are known for, lacks in them. I dont know whether to blame the coach or the players attitudes or NFF.

If something urgent is not done before Angola and South Africa to rectify this, Nigerians should expect more heart breaks.

Hey guyz! our self pride don dey too much o o o o. We want her to get pregnant and have the best baby boy. We want her to get the best qualification and earn good money. We want her to work long hours, come back cook the best dishes, take care of the kids including the biggest of all the kids (we! men). We want her to respond immediately even if she said darling I am very tired now.

Please support your partner no matter what. It is not easy on them. Just put your sisters or mother in the  picture while supporting her. I have seen some men who go even beyond washing of dishes, to washing of under wears. Remember, when she is happy, you are happy as well. And to the ladies, please do appreciate when Adam is behaving himself, and dont see it as a weakness on him.

When a man and woman come together in marriage they become one flesh. You wouldnt like to see half your body stressing out everytime in the kictchen doing everything. Would you?

I suggest all Nigerians should please take out a day for fasting and praying, no matter which religion you belong to.I can see now that our problems cannot be solved by human alone. Our land needs real spiritual healing.
We should ask God to forgive our sins and the sins of our forefathers. We should ask Him to send to us a smart and clever leader.

I believe that the type of brainwash and whitewash put in all Africans is very unfair. One of the results of these is totally lack of self pride and confidence. We as a nation have been speaking english since independence and I bet everyone most nigerians can even speak it more than queen of england. My question is, where has that left us now as a nation. All we have is a confused and a scalar nation. If learning another mans language is the key to development, dont we all think that nigeria as at now will be as organised as england?

There is nothing wrong in individuals who wants to learn how to speak other languages but I see it very sickening when someone wants to make that a national issue. There are many other relevant things to worry about in Nigeria. I think all Africans should learn from Nelson Mandela for stansding for who he was and was ready to die for the course.

I remember Abacha's broadcast when he took over power. He said that our hospitals was turned into mere clinics but surprisingly by the time he died in the office after some years in power, our hospitals deteoriated into mortuaries.

Mr blazer , I do not have to start from my village. It is old mentally like that, that is why we are were, we are. I am better than Yar Adua. So why should I not be president. Any nation put its best to a test. I am ready to take on yar adua on CNN or BBC in a debate on how to turn the nigeria economy around. This is an open challenge to Yar Adua or  anyone who think , he want to be president of Nigeria. To take me on on this issue.

Look I can tell you I can run the economy better than yar adua.

God bless you my brother! You made my day. Our forefathers who never went to school and who could.nt speak any word in English or French or whatever, where able to fight and retained Africa for their children and grand children. But now with all our so claimed education and exposure we are slowly slowly giving our continent back to them. It is only a stupid fish, that could not differentiate between a bait and real food under the sea, that is been caught by the hook. I was so glad that Dr mahathir Mohammad of Malaysia was in Nigeria to enlighten them. I hope they will listen. The Russians, Japanese, Chinese, south Koreans, Malaysians, to mention but a few are great and amazing countries. It was not because these countires speak English or French.

We should imagine, using our native languages to explain the principles of Physics or Chemistry citing local examples. The understanding, assimilation and retention wil be much more higher than when taught in another mans language with examples so foreign to most of us.

MAY GOD PUNISH FRENCH, I neva learn English and Igbo(ibo) finish and they are telling me to learn french as if it's a ticket to heaven. What have we benefited from the English that we've learnt. There is nothing wrong though in learning 'French' and adding that to our port folio if that will help to unite us as one people, but I would have thought that again we are trying to import what we have in plenty. I thought we have more than 50 or so spoken languages in Nigeria. What about introducing a language that will be very unique to all Nigerians. Good man! It is the only 'recycling plant' in Nigeria that has been well maintained and serviced since independence.

Listen educated Christian, there is a saying that 'Pride goes before a fall'.. I have read about great kingdoms and I have also read about how they crumbled. I have been opportuned in my life to associate myself with humans, people like you call rich and wealthy and I know their pains, and I also know their wishes. Maybe God wants to use this medium to re-position your mind and your understanding of life.

Initially, you offered to help me which now I highly appreciated, but hang on! I just realised that you needed that help more than I do. Personally I have not seen anyone who has done that, but one day in your sick bed, your self pride and ego will be humbled. That day you will remember what I am exactly telling you now. Life is full of surprises and shocks, when you think it is ok, it may not be ok. That is why a wise person seeks more of spiritual things than physical, because spiritual things you take away with you but physical you leave behind.

What I meant by you getting a job is to do more meaningful things with your life than closing and opening your eyes and telling people God wants them to do contribution for you. I am glad that God is using me to re-position your mind and thinking. I know it is very hard on my on part but God have used me to do even more harder jobs than this. My only happiness in this is the end result after I have finished the work I was sent to do. I see people change from worse to best and they come out very humble, caring, considerate, happy, confident and above all appreciative of wherever they have seen themselves in life.

I have tried everything within my capacity to re-align your thoughts. I now believe that as far as this Post is concerned you are completely "irredeemable". I however wonder really if any body can have an intelligent conversation with you let alone engage in an arguement. You can't seem to stay focused on the issue at hand. You are obviously too seriously haunted by your past hurts that you do not want to move forward. Just to remind you again, The Experience Worship concert cost a HUGE amount of Money  and other resources to stage but It is ABSOLUTELY  FREE and the organisers have NEVER called for a donation or an offering or gone to rip people's pockets to steal their Monies, don't you get it!!

You have gone on and on about Crusade and Money in your little  mind and Myopic perspective condemned everything that is crusade and GIVING for the work of the Ministry. I have told you for the gazillion times that there's nothing wrong with raising money or taking offering in a crusade ground if the organisers have instruction from God to do so. My concern with you childish reasoning in this whole matter is that you are passing judgement on people you didn't call. People you don't give to and hoping that God will endorse your charge against pastors because you have generally assumed that they are robbing the individuals who give.

That Jesus wasn't born into earthly Royalty does not make him poor. Get it into your Religious mind son, Jesus wasn't poor! He only became poor so you might be rich. His wish is that above all things that YOU (Asunaobi) may PROSPER and(plus) be in GOOD HEALTH even as your SOUL Prospers. What a balance we see here.

Listen Son, the Experience Worship gathering is FREE to the Public and There is absolutely NOTHING WRONG with a pastor taking offerings at a crusade ground or a concert if that's what the Lord lays on the Pastor's heart.

Please keep your Money but don't come here to bewitch people with your Poverty mentality.Incase you don't know POVERTY IS NOT = SPIRITUALITY.

Honestly, people like you makes me feel like throwing out! Infact I dont blame you much anyway. I blame our leaders for failing to educate and enlighten our people. I dont really mean academics here because you can be a proffessor and still dont get it. There is no pastor in Nigeria who will come out and tell me that there is spirit of God in Nigeria. What I know about God is that His spirit does not exist in an evil chaotic environment.

Crusades are more of a way of looking for church members than preaching the real word of God because the more people you have in your church the more money you make.

I am praying to God to heal you of all the brain whitewash that has been bestowed on you and open your eyes to see your real self and how God made you to be.

How on earth can God of the universe lay in your filthy heart to be collecting money from poor Nigerians to enrich yourself in a your crusade. If you love God so much take public transport around Nigeria and spread His gospel. Lagos is already flooded with churches.

I have a poverty mentality because I am very poor, there is nothing wrong in that. Remember Jesus Christ did'nt come from a royal family neither was Him born in big flashy hospital. Please now that you know that I am very poor, can you practice what you preach? CAN YOU PLEASE SEND SOME MONEY TO ME I AM REALLY STARVING?

My final advice to you, GET A JOB! ENOUGH OF THESE MOCKERY OF GOD.

The point is very clear! take away money making from the church. The number of these noise makers will disappear. Did'nt Jesus Christ fore warned us. I was in Nigeria sometime and I saw how fraudsters were investing in the Church. They should better go around with their acquired wealth and help the orphans and starving children across Nigeria, Africa and the world. I know one Church in Nigeria now, the pastor of which you people respect so much, who have fleets of cars but his second in charge pastor had none.

If you are a pastor and you are rich please forget about heaven, because you have been rewarded here on earth. I am as wise as the serpent when it comes to my personal relationship with God.

Anyway, thats my opinion. There is nothing wrong in going to crusade if that can help anyone to build up faith, but when it comes to donation, give nothing. Take your money home and look around you, there must be someone that needs the money more than these pastors.


All these people do is to hang up peoples hope somewhere and people tend to believe that God will come and help them when they are lazy. We want people to be encouraged, We want people to be loved, We want people to have equal and fair opportunity. We want people to live in clean, organised and decent environment.

Well, educated christian put your pastor across to me and I will have a chat with him/her. All I can tell you is that some have eyes but cannot see!

My advice guyz! If you have made up your mind to go, Please watch your pocket. If you know you wont be alert enough to do that, then wear trouser and shirt with no pockets. Jesus fed people when they went to listen to His preachings but this days pastors and so called men of God (self imposed) steal from their poor followers. My father was one of them when he was alive! I love him and may his soul rest in peace but I never liked his practices.

The most important thing in life to me, is for someone to sit down in a very quiet place and ask yourself whom you are? No matter your status, how rich, poor, educated, illitrate(person who was denied the opportunity for education), you will always notice in your life that there is something missing. That thing missing is your personal relationship with God. What I am trying to say here is that that your personal relationship with God is FREE!

We should all remember that Jesus Christ gave it free to us and so shall it.

Maryam please do not try to fool God by sounding to be an Angel because well meaning Nigerians knows you are not one. You and your husbands pride have been humbled by something very divine. I hope other fools like you and your husband will learn from this. Life does,nt worth all the troubles and problems people create in other to make others suffer. When you die now, remember you will be leaving all those stolen wealth behind. Please do not piss us off further by mentioning God or Allah in any of your speech. Our memory is not that short.
