I need a serious advice here. I own a NAFDAC approved juice factory. So we have test runned and did trial production which was very successful. The samples were liked by the supermarkets and customers we give it to.

Now the issue now is that we are commencing full commercial production this week. And I had an arrangement with a chdhood friend of mine who had access to about 400 supermarkets in Nigeria. He has always been in FMCG sales after NYSC days, well connected and well experienced in sales and distribution. He wants to be the distributor and the receiver of payment from the customers, he will deduct his commission and remit my due money from sales after 30 days of supply on credit to him

Now, do you think the arrangement will favour me as the manufacturer, investor and sole owner of the factory. Should I develop my own in house sales team? even though I am not well connected to supermarkets in Lagos like him. I believe he is saving me the stress of customer acquisition.

My fear is that most customers will know him as their supplier and not know anything about me as the business owner. What if in future, he raise capital and start his own factory and steal all my customers.

I need advice on the way forward

I'm yet a businessman and I'm not very familiar with FMGC sales but with my little banking experience, I will advise you to do NO FRIENDS thing. It's good that he's bringing his experience and connections which will be good for your business. However, you need to have a 3rd party agreement or legal contract involving both of of you and your bank. In that way his collections account from his customers (supermarkets) will be domiciled in your bank, and your banker will be mandated to debit him and credit you after 30 days. That shouldn't stop you from hiring at least two people to work on sales from in-house and they should be laising with your friend. Abeg, make we try to dey avoid unnecessary headaches.

It gotten to the notice that plenty of the applicant can't even remember the position they applied for..
So for the those going to be called please try to remember the particular position you applied for.
And some person upload two different CV, with information about their experience with different date.. .so they honestly have means of screening..... the interview is going to be in batch....

You forgot what you used on the CV? So your actual experience is one thing while what was on the CV is another. Seriously, would you hire yourself if you were the employer?

Every job seeker should know how to package CV. If you don't put what they're looking for there (skills and job experience), you won't be called talkless of getting the job.

Have knowledge of everything in your cv so you can at least defend it.
You can be coached for a job by someone (an insider) who knows the nitty gritty and job requirements, and possible HR questions.
Always be mentally prepared for the job you're packaging for.
Infact, at a point you know you have all it takes for a particular job role but if you don't exaggerate yourself on your CV, you may not be called for skills test or interview.
Reverse might be the case too, like when you're targeting a better paying job and working environment, but the advertised role requires less experience. You can yank some experiences off your CV.
If you don't want to package, embellish or exaggerate your knowledge and skills, go and wait for 30k FG jobs.

Just look closely at the email they did not say you have been shortlisted. The said go fill up the required certificate. My assumption is that they are yet to release the full shortlist. Just that this one might have been successful but some documents appear improper. Maybe you were successful but has no document upload issue. Some people are really dirty. I've been with people who don't wash their own clothes or used plates, forget to flush toilet, don't bathe before going to work or classes.

Some things you can do. I've done.
You don't need to be advising her but forget she's older than you.
Buy her rollon, almost her type clothes and some you think she'll be good on, if you can.
Remind her to bathe.
If the toilet is dirty asked her when last she did the cleaning. Advise her to clean the toilet/bathroom immediately after doing her laundry or just before bathing.
Make sure there's general weekend cleaning that involves everyone.
Remind her her hair is unkept, if she's looking dirty tell her. Remind her that if she continues like that mehn will be scared of her.
If she returns from her Sunday food sales, inform her that if she doesn't wash her wares by at most the following day, you'll throw them in the bush. (I did this to a final year roommate while in the school hostel, I was in 200L but na fight be wan end am after heated exchange.).

Omo you have to be brutal with her... My folks are in the village and I have a sister in one of those conc churches (I led them there and out except her). So if I always remind her about her hair and dressing any time I see her or asked her if she still has rollon or perfume, you can do same to your cousin. I'm even concerned about the cleanliness of my sister's armpit (even mum's). My sister is in her final year now and much better apart from the church we've all left her.

My only regret is that I could have used the 8h I put inside MBA Forest to do the final finishing of our house in the village. I invested the least among my guys and as we are not seeing any meaningful payments especially from eliozu, even the ones with over 2m have partially moved on. Never again!
