otomatic:Loans @4% per month Deposits from 10-14% per annum depending on tenure max of 30 days. |
Godbpraised:Opay is quite popular with their app that offers payment solutions, ORide, e-commerce, pay day loans, savings and fixed deposits accounts. My main reservation is that I feel many borrowers may default cos of our current realities although Opay is aggressive on recovery cos of use of BVN. |
Punchline33:All markets, shops, banks, ATM, cashback points where overcrowded the two days preceeding the lock down. I don't expect anything different tomorrow and next cos almost everyone I know has not been able to get cash and will still be going to the market. I couldn't even get water and bread to buy. It was during the lock down that I bought 3 bags of pure water at almost double the price. I saw two people in a G-wagon driving around for water two days ago. At nights one or two shops will open but nothing much to buy. Everything is just so expensive now. Wike should just forget this lockdown and let PHC people breathe. |
Hello fellow investors, will it be wise to fix some funds with Opay for 30 days @ 14% p.a? Giving existing rates, the fact that Opay give out quick loans @4% monthly interest rate and our current economic realities. |
Buhari should pity pitakwa people and send Wike small change. There's no lockdown in Lagos with over 1300 cases. Rivers State have just 14 cases and no new official confirmed case since this week. |
Is it the same report that GEJ didn't implement for 3 years before leaving office? But who said a criminal can't be a caring and loving husband and father? |
kalvoken:Stop disgracing yourself. Abba Kyari is now Mamman Duara. I don't like the man but it's obvious people mix the two people up. |
An American nurse posted on twitter that the mortality rate once a patient is placed on ventilator is at least 80%. Thank God that most Nigerian cases don't require ventilators. This too shall pass. |
Some people have been in offshore rigs or FPSOs for over a month. Even though they're making their dough, staying on the high seas for prolonged days is not good for their physiology and psychology. Wike, should apply common sense. |
grossintel:I've been in PHC fully for 4 years now, I did NYSC in Eleme prior to that and I've seen worst places. Don't stay in non-indegines developed areas and be making mouth. Goan stay in town and come back here. Or some backwater areas of PH where dbam, viki boys roam freely. I've been in an area where if police stop you on the road and you identify to be living there, they'll say are you all not cultists and robbers there. That I now live in a well paved new layout part of PH doesn't mean those slums don't exist. FYI, I've seen dirty in Lagos too... Ajagbandi, Ajegunle has fine areas and places where you'll puke just passing by. |
We're on tithe break... Buy food for someone instead. |
Patode:This case isn't too strong jor. It's not even forgery. If either of the first or especially the second name wasn't there, I don't see any mismatch in the names. It's possible for someone to use only 2 names in primary and secondary schools and add a 3rd name in your university as long as your first name is unchanged. My late dad used his middle name (Dennis) and uncle's name (Heaven) as surname in primary school. He changed that in secondary school, i.e, completely different firstname and lastname. This is an interesting case because I don't see any suggestion to the fact that the forgery case was proved beyond reasonable doubt. Buhari has different set of names without a certificate and no court could sack him although his results are verifiable. I'm not understanding. |
rinw:I wanted to post this earlier... But the matter off me. ![]() |
Omotakins:Wow! This is beautiful and great to hear. He's a bigger boy now. Keep grooming him. He'll really make you proud. ![]() |
Donald Trump is officially the impeached POTUS who lost the majority vote by over 3 million. |
hotwax:You meant the house had 17 witnesses and the president blocked witnesses and evidences from his side. |
Temple1288:Oh my God... It's not worth engaging with you but if you at least followed the trial, it's Republicans who were always shifting their baseless arguments. I must applaud the steadfastness of the Dems though they realised their victory ended in the house. A political trial acquittal is never equal to exoneration (not guilty). |
It's started with politics and ended with politics... All of you should go and rest. No impeached POTUS has ever been removed from office by the senate even when the president is from the senate minority. But this is particularly a bad precedent by the republican senators... Now, no one can cry foul in future if a president blocks investigations into his misdemeanours or the senate majority blocks a fair impeachment trial (no evidences or witnesses allowed). Just how PDP showed APC the way and PDP is now toothless and ineffectual. |
HRHQueenPhil:Great... That's why I don't bother writing notes most times. What I do is not note rhema and some key points in my phone notepad. Today, we're enjoined to always owe all our life's achievement to God, not to be thinking it's by our own efforts. It's just grace; you're only a treasury or custodian of all God has blessed you with and always ensure to love and help your brothers. |
Good day nairalanders. Today's Sunday service was very much engracing. But taking a review I discovered that most services I've attended are always like: Prayers time : Praying Praise and Worship : Singing and Dancing Testimony time : nairaland/twitter/facebook Choir ministration : WhatsApp Message : Bible app (KJV + AMP) + Dictionary Excuse me Sir, how can we "edify God"? Happy Sunday, y'all. PS: I try to give all offerings; only the Sunday school offering is tricky. |

See these lazy thieves. After toiling and staying late at work almost all year, I got barely 5% of 2m as Xmas bonus. These blokes will just be eating free money without any major impact in their communities. |
We're christians We can fvck We can take postinor 2 But we can't abort. Your options before the matter escalated. Now, you can't even abort if you want to. Wahala wa! Anyway, if I had my way when I was in your shoes I would have prevented a distasteful experience. My late didnt let me have my way, the girl sef no gree take my advice. Now, it's a pain in the arse. That someone impregnated your sister doesn't mean you should alter the course of her life (oh, we don't even know the true course of her life). I have seen thugs/cultists who later became threatening big men in the society, legislators, even house speakers. I have also seen thugs who after putting unwise girls in the family way (and the girls family allow them be), lost their lives or became useless after their ogas lost political relevance, lost power or they fell out. So there are different possibilities. Follow ya heart but your sisters heart matters too. This might be her destiny. If I advise people in real life, they'll say I'm confused. I will tell them that I don't really know how to advice people but my instincts (first thoughts) are mostly right. |
Artisans and blue collar folks really have more women and more sex than white collar guys. Na lazy men dey fvck pass. This holy day period is a proof to that. |
Nice thread... I started following few days ago. I have some guys who relocated to dubai few years back and they're currently doing fine though started with some meagre jobs almost immediately on touch done. However, right now when you ask about relocation and job prospects in the UAE they're always painting some risky scenarios like some folks here. The issue now is I have a bro who has HND in building tech and have finished service since 2018. He worked briefly with a building contractor in the island in Lagos but the pay wasn't taking him home and poor working conditions before relocating to the village to be assisting a friend with building works they do contracts for mostly individuals and sometimes government. This is not very steady and he's been applying for series of jobs, wasting his savings to travels, etc. I recently advised him to go for an online design course that he's currently on. Main point: I have been able to save about 1m from my small job and although I have relocation plans myself (but my motivation is advanced studies), I think I can aid him in relocation to the UAE if we can make trustworthy links. So he can get a job and also start assisting the family (that I'm doing mainly since my dad passed 4 years ago) when he settles down. But with what I'm being told, the expenses involved and prospects, I don't want to waste the little funds I've been able to gather. So any experienced advice will be appreciated. |
ogawisdom:Lending rates can go below MPR? ![]() |
Richnerd69:You're doing a good job. Marry her already to avoid story that touch. Abeg, help a brother too. There's this babe that I'm just picking interest in. I want her back in PH from Jigawa. ![]() |

You will get offended if someone calls you a fool. You can slap someone for calling you a mad man or insulting your father. Yet you think you can be free if you call your governor a 419 or accuse your school's VC of corruption without evidence. We don't really need social media bill before 'beans go done for you'. |
Sometimes I pity Service executives or contract staff in banks. Termination of contract with the parent company means mass sack. However, I think some old non core staff who have stayed for over 5 years become demotivated and lethargic seeing several of their colleagues converted to full staff, and new GTs employed and moving the ranks. Thus, I won't blame the bank so much if they wanna let go of some of the contract staff. Firstbank is one of the highest employers of labour in Nigeria. Only last year about 500 GTs were employed. Several other experienced and GTs hire including a conversion program for 500 service executives have taken place this year. I'm also sure the affected 1000 staff are been replaced by younger more motivated bloods. No wonder several contracting firms are recruiting tellers, CSOs and marketers. The industry is no child's play. Finally, it's not funny out there. Being a contract staff in a bank is not the best position to be but it's better than nothing. To that end, people is such position must have a plan to leave between 2 to 5 years, fighting on all fronts: investing in personal and academic development, saving for business or emigration, seeking conversion and hunting for jobs actively. Even as an envied full time staff with several privileges, I hustled my way out and still hustling as PMB isn't my papa. |
Unwise commenters, the RAPE case hasn't gone on trial. What the court determined was validity of the case. On appeal Busola will have to establish is she's still suffering pains from the alleged rape or the alleged rapper is still tormenting her. Else, the case is status barred after 6 years of that incidence. She can't make claims. If she wins an appeal, the case will go into trial, and who said she doesn't have evidences. For starters, she named some names on her side and on the side of the accused who were aware of or intervened backed then. So why is the oyibo pastor celebrating? ![]() |
charliboy654:Why una too dull for this country? Those 12 centers are the FG centers. The summary of what you just read now, if you actually read and understand is that local govts ati churches derive their rights to conduct marriages from the FG. So your local council will still conduct the marriage registry as long as they're following the regulatory guidelines. |
