During the June 12th blow up, OPC burnt a number of police station, killed some people, destroyed properties, but it was never declared a terrorist group or procribed
The Niger Delta militants took up arms, destroyed Oil installations. They were never tagged terrorists, they were given amnesty
Herdsmen have slaughtered people all over the place, they are not terrorist
But IPOB with hardley any record of violence before operation python dance, bear no arms and has never killed anyone are tagged terrorists and proscribed.
Ok, no worries |

Whats the definition of madness again? Keep up with your online bombing. Keep up your online bravery. i know you're more sensible than to go pelting armed soldiers with stones like the brainless twats whose carcasses were loaded into keke napep in umuahia
Once again, Did you read Ekweremmadu's epistle? or again you consider him an afonja whose words make no sense? shukuokukobambi: And what sensible actions have you proposed or taken to actualise restructuring?
Insulting every tribe in the country and every elder in your region? Lying to your ignorant tribesmen that you have diplomatic relations and missions in 80 countries? Lying to your ignorant brothers that USA, Russia, Turkey, Isreal and Iran (see combination sef!) have agreed to enforce biafran independence? Call a country that still holds your citizenship, a zoo implying you're a lesser animal yourself? Threatening to burn down the zoo and when the zoo army obliges, you pelt armed soldiers with stones , dive into the muddy pool for a swim, then come out and start screaming genocide all over? Or maybe becoming a tiny demi god whose urine and feet are being licked by idiotic followers?
What sensible thing exactly are you doing in this mission that is worthy of the time of any sane human e.g Your leader Ekweremadu? Did you not read his epistle of Monday? Well thanks for reminding all that the names Kanu called the country pribably right. Where else do you get Armies invading civilian domain in peace times and shooting unarmed people? Those who are lucky are made to swim in dirty water, not even animals do that. Every wise person already knows the North will never agree to restructuring and those who trumpet restructuring are judt noise makers who dont have the spine to agitate for their sovereignty. |

really? Burning of Dangote trucks and mosques in 2015 is what? Bonfire? But you failed to say that the before those trucks were burnt, the Nigerian Army had arrived and shot people including a young girl. It was the sight of this that instigated people. Not that the burning of the Truck was a good thing but it was the Nigerian Army that brought violence into a peaceful thing same as they did with python dance in Abia. How is it that the two different occasions that IPOB was seen as violent, it was started by shootings by the Nigerian Army? So Yorubas should be prepared to physically attack the Igbos in their land Because they want restructuring or secession? Now I see How you guys reason. Be thankful that we don't reason that way in the Western part of Nigeria, home of the Yorubas. Its not a new thing. During the fall out if the June 12th elections, many Igbos were attacked and their businesses burnt or looted in Lagos and environs by Yoruba elements. |

Yyeske: You don't even know geography, London is in England and can have access, is Anambra, Imo and Abia part of the SS, same SS that have told you they are not interested in your Biafra? No part of the SE bounds the ocean. They are landlocked. Go get your referendum in a constitutional legal way just like Quebec, Scotland and Catalonia did and no problem or you go the Eritrea and South Sudan route. How many times will I educate you on this London is not even near the ocean but ships dock in London because London has river thames that runs into the ocean. You dont have to be by the ocean to have a access to the Sea. A port can be built in Oguta in Imo because it has a big River to the sea. Another port can be bulit on Obuaku in Abia. Even Onitsha River port can wirk well if dredged to capacity. As for referendum, agitating for it is not illegal. Holding rallies for referendum is not illegal. The question is was IPOB violent in its rallies? Were they violent before the Nigerian Army came? I would rsther have a landlocked country where we can develop our river ports, manage our own affairs and trade with the world than be part of a hopelessly failed Nigeria where nothing works. |

diegwu01: Unfortunately, the Burden is on IPOB to prove to the world that these were their members and were actually killed by the Nigerian Army. Snapping pictures in the Mortuary proves nothing. The Army can easily say they shot no one this is the reason why all of this should have been prevented from the start. Dying for Nnamdi Kanu is the silliest idea of the century. Nobody died for Nnamdi Kanu. These guys could easily have been shot by the Nigerian Army fr another reason besides Biafra. The important thing to note is that the Army do not have the right to shoot unarmed people in a non combatant situation. Thw Army is set up to defeend Nigeria against external aggression. Internal aggression is for the police and the Army is only called in when the situation is beyond the control of the police. That was hardly the situation in Abia Everybody should be worried because when the Army leaves its constitutional role to start deciding who to shoot and not to shoot, it wont matter if you believe in Biafra or not, just being in the wrong place at the wrong time is all that is required for anyone to lose their life. |

If majority of Igbos will reject Biafra in a referendum, why is the federal govt afraid to give them referendum?
Theres a big deifference between being land locked and having access to the sea.
Anambra, Imo and Abia all have access ti the ocean same way that London has access to the ocean through the river thames. |

It should be condemned by all because any of us could be agitators tomorrow, maybe not about Biafra but something else, and wind up in a mortuary like them.

It might not be what others would to hear but people are allowed to express themselves. If the people talking cross a line and start making inciting or incendiary speaches, the law provides that the police may arrest and prosecute. But when the authorities decide to abandon the law and start using the Army for home invasions, that is absolutely wrong. How can the Army go to a place and shoot up the place in a democracy? ElsonMorali: By Nnamdi Kanu style you mean:
1. Broadcasting hate speeches.
2. Calling on your followers to massacre the tribes you hate
3. Asking for arms, ammunition and funding to prosecute a war against the Nigerian state?
4. Insulting at every turn, not just the tribes you love to hate But also the international community of nation states Because of perceived support for the unity of Nigeria.
5. Forming a parallel government.
6. Training members to take up arms against the state.
7. Searching for Hausas in your public space so as to massacre them.
8. Burning and looting the businesses and trucks of perceived enemies be side they belong to other tribes.
9. Organizing protests in the Hope that the military will kill off some of your people so that you can post pictures of their dead bodies online.
10. Making efforts to annex other minority tribes to yourself Because they have the bulk of the resources, their lands have access to the sea, and also for the opportunity to flex your muscles and the pleasure to have someone to bully.
I can tell you something. Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB have not killed anyone and before this Python dance thing, IPOB had no record of violence. But all you wrote above are things that people who want restructuring must be willing to to because the North will be prepared to do much worse to see that Nigeria stays the way it is. |
Politics › Every Southern Nigerian Will Eventually Have To Become An Nnamdi Kanu Or A Slave by attackgat(op): 8:44am On Sep 20, 2017 |
There is a general consensus across across the SW/SE/SS which makes up Southern Nigeria that Nigeria has to be restructured. By restructuring, I mean the devolution of powers from the center to the zones, making them autonomous. But the problem is two folds.
In other for Nigeria to be restructured, the current constitution will have to be changed. The government cannot just get up and restructure Nigeria, only the national assembly can do that.
Also, the core North, the NW and NE, along with some in the NC are all against restructuring. The reason is not hard to see, the economy of Nigeria is mainly in the south, so a restructured Nigeria will shortchange the North.
Any vote on restructuring Nigeria at the national assembly is certain to be defeated as NE and NW have more than enough voting power to do this.
So what happens when the North forecloses any hope of restructuring?
Southern Nigerians will either have to carry on according to the will of the North or agitate Nnamdi Kanu style. Like him or hate him, Nnamdi Kanu pulled a crowd of followers in the millions out on the streets and he didnt do that by trying to be politically correct all the time.
The SW/SE/SS will have to do what he did in that regards. But what if the North still remains adamant that Nigeria will not be restructured no matter the protest?
The inevitable truth is that each zone will have to seek self determination like Kanu.
Ultimately, everyone in the south of Nigeria will have to either become an "Nnamdi Kanu" or become a slave |

Nigerians amaze me. A Nigerian is a person who thinks that they will have a strong, united progressive country through lawlessness, inequality, militarisation and falsehood. It will not work in a million years.
A country were military are still shooting down unarmed people just because they dont like what they are agitating about is not a country by any stretch of the imargination
I also laugh at people who talk about restructuring. Anyone who is looking for restructuring is just a person who has yet to come to terms that Nigeria is being controlled by a Northern oligarchy who dont want to hear anything called restructuring |

honourhim: The plan by Ohanaeze Ndigbo to hold the 2017 Igbo day celebration in ph has been kicked against by some indigenes of Rivers state who have some (useless) hatred on the igbos. In a radio program held to senstize the masses on the upcoming event, Some callers of Rivers state origin, especially the Ikwerre people, kicked against it with hate speech while some others welcome it.
My question to those against the plan is this-
1. If you were governor Wike would you have cancelled the plan to host the event in ph knowing fully well that this people are your political ally who have given you political support in the past and present?
2. If you are an Igbo living in ph and Wike cancels the celebration would you still vote for him in 2019 and even beyond? The answer is NO. If Wike does that it will be a fatal error on his political calculation knowing very well that Igbo population in Rivers state is quite huge.
3. Immediately he does that, the APC in Rivers state will cash in on that and bash him (Wike) in the media in order to win the sympathy of Igbo voters.
You people should always think before you talk in public. Wike is an Ikwerre man but cannot survive in politics with only Ikwerre people around him and i believe he understands the game. I am not his fan though and i am not an APC too but i know that he has huge supporters among the Igbos in Rivers state. The boys in Ikoku does not waste time to support him when you argue Rivers politics with them. I tried it severally and they never wanted to hear that Wike is not doing well at all so i left them. How will those guys feel if Wike reject the celebration in ph?
Left with me Ohanaeze should relocate the event to another place since the hosting is rotational. It was held in Asaba peacefuly but since this people are kicking, kindly relocate. Two things to note. World Igbo has been held outside Nigeria in places like London and America so I dont know what this big deal about Portharcourt Also, parts of present day Rivers are Igbo. Some people may not know this but places like Oyigbo used to be in old Aba division before they were carved into Rivers state |
