Anambra Specialist Hospital Carries out First Heart Surgery

Anambra State may have started reaping the fruits of its massive investment in the health sector with the series of heart surgery that is ongoing at St. Joseph Specialist Hospital, Adazi Nnukwu at the moment.
The surgery is being carried out by a team of 15 Doctors and medical workers led by the renowned Anambra State based USA Cardiac surgeon, Dr. Joseph Nwiloh, who is based in the USA and is globally regarded as one of the best in the world. The building housing the Heart Clinic was named after him by the former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, who built it as a way of celebrating worthy Anambra sons and daughters and hold them out as role models for the young.
Dr. Nwiloh, who helped in equipping the centre, thanked God for His mercies and Peter Obi for his vision. He promised to even work harder to make sure the centre becomes fully functional.
Gov. Peter Obi, who was visiting the State and was requested by Dr. Nwiloh to witness the first surgery on Saturday, said he was happy at the many fruits of the collaboration between the Church and the Government. He said he was even happier that his successor, Chief Willie Obiano has continued in the collaboration, saying that the ultimate beneficiaries are the people of the State.
Speaking on the development, the President General of Adazi Nnukwu, Mr. Ben Enemuo said the people of the town were happy over the development. He thanked God for the gift of Peter Obi who initiated the Heart Centre and commended his successor for the promise to build on his foundation.
The former Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Lawrence Ikeakor who visited the hospital to witness the surgery said that with the development, Nigerians may not have the need to travel outside the country again for categories of heart diseases requiring surgery.

Why i also think that any discerning mind would also assume that his 'open letter' to Pyrate Confraternity is also the silliest tantrum,cldnt he have found a way of reaching out to them if they had hurt BAN so much,since he claimed there was a form of tie between Wole Soyinka and the lost members who became buccaneers and that there was an attempt to lure them back.

let me start by saying that the death of 'civilians'in the hands of the military,in any form of struggle is painful and condemnable.Having said this,i wld equally like to assure you that the story told by Sheik El Zakzaky cld be 99% falsehood,i ve been priviledged to witness a Quds day match in Jos some yrs back,i went on an emergency trip to Jos and saw exactly what happened because i was also on the path of the road leading to Rukuba Road where the Shittes had their Mosque,though the governor warned earlier that the security situatn on ground means that the procession to Rukuba Road Mosque,which is in christian deminated area cld lead to crisis and shld be averted.But they insisted that they must do it and they were given military protectn but by the time they finished their prayers and were leaving,we started hearing the shout of 'Allah Akbar',in a blink of an eye,the devotees started shooting up and had set few shops on their path on fire and that angered the indigenes who now mobilized and fought back inspite of the presence of soldiers,though the soldiers in protecting the devotees,shot at some indigenes.
This led to the not famous Rukuba fight were human flesh were eaten,but the propaganda by this group afterwards,made the whole world to think muslims were unjustly killed and massacred in Rukuba Road and ever since then both Alqeada in the Magreb and boko haram has always singled out Plateau state in their hate speech...until we start telling the truth and not portraying the opressor as the oppressed,Nigeria may never know peace.Eye witness account coming out from Zaria says that the shittes shot at the military during the procession and in defence the military shot back and for El Zakzaky to think that a brig.Gen Okuh will stoop so low as to pick up a gun and knife and go on a killing spree in an ordinary riot,means that El zakzaky needs his head examiined.where his children caught with Arms?did they attack the military?where they at the wrong place at the wrong time?where they involved in the destructn seen at the site of the procession?did the bullet that unsettled the military come from them?.
