Thank you.hi,i think your problem is a little different from my own, since you can access youtube, all you need to do is to check your google acct and see if you are duly registered, make sure you ve a g-mail acct.while in the playstore move to the free applications and try downloading!as for the movies that has refused to play,i guess you need to download MXplayer from '9apps', 9apps had a lot of free android applications.Mxplayer plays almost every video format...as for downloading from youtube, you need an application know as 'youtube downloader', or 'TubeMate' etc with this you can successfully and easily download videos of your choice from youtube.Wish you the best. |

Journalists must endeavour to inform the public rightly, they must stand out as the conscience of the nation, they shld grow above parochial interest,non-partisan and stand out as social engineers! They are the hope of the masses, even when other structures of governance goes wrong, every one looks up to them....what the press is doing right now in Nigeria is both pathetic and shameful!i just hope that after 2015 they may still ve a Nigeria to write about. |
Ephraim Emeka Ugwuonye Esq. Published on Tuesday, 07 January 2014 16:50 Written by Ephraim Ugwuonye Tweet Share In the report below, in in which Sahara Reporters aimed its usual filth on the Nigerian Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah, one can see how Sahara Reporting works. On the surface, you would think that there is a compelling story that is watertight. But not really. Before I say anything further, let me make it clear that I don't work for this woman. I don't know who she is. She will not give me water if I appear in her office tomorrow. I would say, I care very little about her personally. But, I can educate the average person on how SR uses fact manipulation to play on the minds of an average person and extort money from victims or be paid by those that aim to attack the victim. The whole story is based on the claim that: (a) Ms. Oduah claimed to have obtained MBA from the Virginia College. If one can show that she never made that claim, everything else Sahara Reporters wrote will fall like a pack of cards. Right? First, how do you know that she ever claimed to have MBA from that college? Or are you going to blame her for what Sun Newspaper reported? Maybe! But not so fast! Let's start from what we know or what we could verify: We can verify whether the particular college ever offered MBA or not. It doesn’t. But that is not the issue. Then, let's verify whether the lady claimed (a) that she got MBA and (b) that she obtained it from that college. SR says she did (a) and (b). What is SR's proof? (a) SR says that she stated that in her resume which she allegedly submitted to the Senate for her confirmation hearing. (b) SR says that Sun Newspapers claimed she had an MBA from that college. What SR did is an old trick. You create a straw man, and then you shoot him down and pose like a hero that slayed the dragon. Remember what a mother normally does with 2-year old kids. She would point in the corner of the room at an imaginary boogieman. The child will be captivated by the supposed boogieman. Then the mother will take any object nearby and strike at the boogieman. The child will smile to see his brave mother slay the boogieman. That is what SR has done in this report. It created scenarios that were not important and made them look like something hidden that it, the crusader, alone discovered. Question: What is the proof that Oduah made that claim on the resume she submitted to the Senate? There is no proof provided. For you to dispense with proof, you have to believe SR to be saying the truth. But SR CANNOT be trusted to say the truth about this woman. Why? Read the entire report again. It is clear that SR credits itself with "outing" this woman for corruption. Yet it was known that SR embellished that report it wrote on the Minister in October of last year. So, the reader must go beyond SR to find the truth. If SR had a copy of the resume of this woman, which it alleges was presented to the Senate, it would normally have exhibited that resume. It is fair to say therefore that SR does not have a copy of that resume. It must be reporting on what it was told by an unnamed person, or better, what its publisher cooked up. Secondly, if the resume was submited to the Senate, it would be part of the official documents of the Senate and SR could have obtained a Certified True Copy of what the Senate has in its record. That way, the truth would be clear. But it did not, because it doesn’t exist. So, the point is that this story that appears to be a bull’s-eye or something big could really be a patched up set of fabrications. Before you get carried away by this story, consider the following: (a) That this woman did not make the claims in any resume contrary to what SR has alleged. (b) That this woman is not ordinarily responsible for what Sun Newspaper might thane written. (c) That there is no other occasion where this woman is said to have made the same claim. In her recent appearance before the House of Representative in November of 2013, she fully described her educational background and there was no claim about the MBA from the Virginia College. So, how come that she wrote her resume for only one occasion? (d) That SR might have been on a vendetta against this woman, not as a journalist reporting facts as they occurred, but as a propagandist shaping those facts to arrive at an agenda. (d) That this woman has enemies that could have bought SR to peddle these fabrications. And SR has previously been known to lie and fabricate stories based on who paid for such fabrication. (e) That, indeed, if you look closely at what Sahara Reporters wrote, you would see vividly the trick. SR wrote in its own words as follows: ________________ “[Oduah] realized very early in life the indispensability of a sound education in her growth plans in life and therefore pursued her education with all diligence and sense of purpose,” her documents claimed, adding that a determination “to have the best education at the highest level” prompted her stay at the Virginia college in 1983 for the MBA programme. The above is the story of SR. SR presented the statement above as if it all was something that Mr. Oduah said or wrote. But look at the above statement again carefully. What do you notice? Not all of it was in quotation mark. The quoted part are supposed to be her statement. The portion that is not quoted were supplied by SR. __________________ A realistic look at the above statement would show that: Oduah said: “[Oduah] realized very early in life the indispensability of a sound education in her growth plans in life and therefore pursued her education with all diligence and sense of purpose,” ……..“to have the best education at the highest level” ______________ The following part of that statement above was supplied by SR: SR added: [her documents claimed, adding that a determination]….. [prompted her stay at the Virginia College in 1983 for the MBA programme.]. If you examine the above, you would see that it was SR that added “MBA from Virginia” to Oduah’s resume statement. Further, if you look at even the statement in quote, supposedly written by Oduah, it has a phrase such as “…pursued her education…”. The “her” in that statement means that it might not have been written by Oduah herself. Otherwise, it would have been “my” instead of “her”. ________________ Also, note the following statement by SR: As her public relations machinery marched on, in December 2012 The Sun newspaper published an article headlined “Stella Oduah: An Amazon of transformation,” which lauded her “MBA from St Paul’s College, Lawrenceville Virginia USA.” The story also praised her for being an official who brought her “rich educational background to bear on the aviation sector by automating revenue centers in all the agencies and parastatals to boost their revenue profile and enhance transparency and accountability in the system.” What does SR mean by: “As her public relations machinery marched on..”? How did SR know that the story published in Sun Newspaper was not something written by Sun Newspaper journalists and reporters on their own? How did it become “her public relations machinery?” . And if SR was sure that it was not Sun Newspapers journalist that wrote that story, why didn’t SR mention the names of the people that comprised “her public relations machinery” since it knew what they were doing? I bothered to point those few instances and pattern of manipulation of facts by SR. I know SR first hand. I know what it did in my case. Concealing a personal vendetta towards me, it lied one thousand times against me. It clamed that an American court found me guilty of stealing. It claimed that I was going to go to jail in America. It peddled such falsehood to the gullible members of the Nigerian public who bought it hook, line and sinker. It is peddling similar lies against this woman, hoping that the gullible Nigerians would buy it. What SR is not revealing to Nigerians is how much money it was paid to attack this woman. And one must have noticed how the SR publisher tries to blackmail the Nigerian Senate into investigating the story it fabricated. This is not journalism. This is gutter attempt to extort money from this Minister or to give value to those that paid SR to spread this propaganda. FOLYKAZE: Can someone tell this big.ot to shut the hell up?another jobless frustrated entity on the prowl...take suicide, its fashionable in your culture. |
tpacalipse: The Op is a foool. You are one of the reasons ASUU went on strike. You think premium is kindergarten in nature as you are? Nigerian government may be a kindergarten one but not all Nigerians are kindergarten people.how there you call some one a fool for saying the truth,if anything, you sound more empty and stupid than any other on this thread!when people do not concur to your evil insinuations, you resort to insulting them..haters will always hate but i can bet you that your entire family both distant relations, no lady amoung them has ever attained the height of Stella Oduah both in academics and national duty!you do nt know what it takes to wear the crown,as an e-rat which you are,the only way you can get to people on top is to write frustratingly online.keep on hating and dont go get yourself a life!Isnt it a shame that able bodied men will spend the whole day discussing Stella Oduah and the woman kept moving from strength to strength!..as for the Premium times you mentioned,an online newspaper known for their cheap blackmail, used by politicians to get back at their percieved enemies, little wonder that they suddenly woke up to the realization that Stella Oduah falsified her certificates! |
Its well with Stella Oduah |
How are the mighty fallen!...this is political suicide! |
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State is due in New Jersey/New York, USA on Saturday, 04/01/2014 to parley with Nigerians especially Imolites on the recent political development in Nigerian. He is expected to defend his defection to APC and why he thinks that APC will best serve the interest of Imo people and Nigerians. That's all for the visit. But the people of Imo State do not see the rational for the visit if his visit is simply to sell APC considering that he did not remember Imo indigenes in diaspora when he ran for Governor in 2011. Why is it that the Governor considers it expedient to embark on such trip this time and at whose expense? Smart Imolites have laid ambush for him because they are not interested in APC or PDP but in good governance of their state and Nigeria. They intend to raise the bar and demand explanation on the Agbaoso hog wash impeachment saga, Award of contract to his Arab/Lebanese cronies that abandon the job soon after at the expense of indigenous contractors who are ready to do the job for our people. They will also want to know why Catholic Bishop of Owerri Archdiocese Bishop Obinna and a good number of Imo indigene are not happy with him? Okorocha may not be able to explain the last poser. The event at National Mosque in Abuja on the 15th day of November, 2013 explains it all. Governors Okorocha, Wamako and Aliyu as well as former Governor Orji Kalu joined other Muslim faithful in a special Jumat service to welcome 18 Muslim converts mainly of Igbo extraction majority of whom came from Okorocha's Imo State. The converts who were all male within the ages of 25 and 35 years said they accepted Islam because it is a “truthful, peaceful and charitable faith.” Ibrahim Ukah, formerly Uchenna Ukah and a younger brother of a fellow convert, Tobechi Ukah, now Abdullahi Ukah from Imo State were the spoke persons of the new converts. According to Leadership online, the commencement of Friday prayers at the mosque on that fateful day was unusually late as the converts were given priority when Islamic rites were administered on them for 30 minutes. The converts were led by the NTA Owerri host of “Islamic calling in Igbo language” Alhaji Muhammad Kabir Orjiegbulam. Governor Okorocha who spoke in Hausa described the occassion as an important turning point in the growth of Islam in the eastern heart land and later led other Governors to raise a total sum of N13m for the converts. Gov Aliyu and Wammako contributed N5m each, Okorocha N2m and Orji Kalu N1m. Other dignitaries present donated various sums but it was not clear whether the target sum of N18m meant for the 18 converts was realised. It was alleged that Okorocha has concluded plans with his Lebanese cronies to build standard mosque in Owerri and Okigwe in Imo State. The news of what happened at National Mosque, Abuja was agog everywhere and every other person in Imo State started grumbling. Two weeks later, Gov Okorocha joined other Catholics at Assumpta Cathederal for the commemoration of Christ the King marking the begining of season of Christmas and Advent in Catholic calendar. But Bishop Obinna gave him mouth full. He thoroughly reprimanded him for reckless use of Imo State money for selfish reasons and equally denied him the opportunity to also speak from the pulpit as privileged laity like Governor or President are occasionally allowed. The Bishop told him to learn from the experience of rejected ex Governor Ikedi Ohakim. It is extremely difficult to discern the mindset of Gov Okorocha. Of what benefit is all these showmanship? Can Governor Wammako of Sokoto State or Gov Aliyu of Niger State come to Onitsha, worship at the Basillica of Holy Trinity and cap it with donation to Christian converts? The answer is No. Capital NO, over their dead body. I want to believe that Islam is a good religion, but two faced sleeping muluanya is a path too dangerous and too expensive for Okorocha to follow. It long expired during the period and age of Jesus Christ and the Pharisees. One should either blow hot or cold, no lukewarm is acceptable. A typical Hausa/Fulani Moslem does not respect an Igbo man one bit even if that person converts to Islam, used all the money in the state coffers to propagate the interest of Islam. They will never trust him and many are surprised if not shocked that Okorocha at his age and experience does not understand that. If Okoroch like, let him turn Dan Anyiam Stadium to Nigeria Medina, it will not add anything to his personality, to them and in their false self righteousness, pork eating unbeliever is unbeliever, Iyamiri is Iyamiri period, the deep rooted unilateral and unwarranted hatred is there unto eternity. Then, why disgrace oneself, why cause pain to your people that once loved and trusted you because you want to step up to national prominence? Ask President Jonathan, Ask former President Obasanjo and they will tell you that it is God not men no matter their influence that raises Kings. Talking of conversion to Islam, one is not perturbed because there is economic sense for a jobless youth of Igbo extraction to smile home with N1m after just 30 minutes of ceremony and exchange of banters with Governors. No doubt their body will be there but their spirit will be far away, with eyes set at the end result... the N1m cash already promised them. At the back of their mind, they appreciate that majority of Igbo traders that made it big today started with something less. That the Igbo industrious and enterprising spirit will make things happen for them. Get the cash first and wait and see if Police will come and arrest them for not coming to Mosque thereafter. The whole thing is comical and it is a win win situation for the converts and the facilitator Mr... sorry Alhaji Muhammed Kabir Orjiegbulam who no doubt will insist on his commission. The whole thing is a scam but in the surface it shows that the resources being spent on the NTA sponsored program in Imo State is yielding fruits and that it is not a waste after all. Like most Nigerian villages, I have jobless impoverished youths in my village. Impoverished not because they are not hard working but because visionless leaders in the mould of Sharia Governors as seen in the National Mosque made the widespread poverty in the land inevitable. I will get in touch with Orjiegbulam, may God spare his life not just Orji, when next such circus comes up again, I will send unemployed youths from my village. But there will be assurance that all APC Governors MUST be there. Okorocha, Wamakko and Aliyu are stingy after all it is not their personal money. It is state money, peoples money. Donation in hundreds of millions to converts next time around makes better sense. The paltry N1m per convert of Nov 15 can not pay one year Shop rent at Nkwo Nnewi or Onitsha Main Market. However, Orjiegbulam should be commended, after all half loaf is better than none. But he should dream bigger next time. The whole saga has its significance. It shows Ndi Imo the kind of Governor they have and what awaits them in future. That is why majority of them are unhappy with their Governor. Happy enough, they know what they should do. They can help themselves. They've done that before. Val Iwuchukwu |
..i didnt really want to join issues with Ghanains but had opportunity to listen to ex president Jerry Lawrence complain of attitude of Africans whenever they meet whites!of particular mention was his experience in the UK when he said he met his Ghanain folks submiting effortlessly to the unjustified intimidation of whites, but on a particularly visit to London he met a Nigerian at the Airport and while a white guy wanted to do their normal 'i am superior' kind of act,he quickly stood up to the white guy and shouted him down...he went ahead to say he loved Nigerians for their toughness and being pride of Africans in diaspora!Seriously no insult intended,Ghanains are good people but even on a Ghana site i once came across a story of a particular club in Ghana where even Ghanains can hardly gain access, that its exclusively white,my heart bled!!!and it seems in Ghana you need to be a (melato)half-cast in order to make it easily to the top of their movie industry,i just hope this do not conote inferiority complex on the side of ghollywood!..that apart, our little neighbours are not doing bad at all. |
odua boy: Stupid idiot is the jamb cut off for ibos different from every other ethnic group in the country or what the heck are you talking about?there you come again, displaying ignorance of the highest order! When the lad spoke of Jamb, you know the states that has been on top inspite of the Yoruba Yoruba press false propaganda, that you are ahead of others in educatn, only for it to be disproof to the dismay of the yorubas. The way you people use Wole Soyinka's Noble laureate as yard-stick in measuring yoruba achievements,is both shameful and absurd, this to me shows a culture that has lost it..So Ghanains or even Egyptians are light years ahead of Nigeria simple because they ve produced noble laureates or UN secretary generals or igbos dancing around because we ve produced common-wealth secretary general and other award winning notables!still wondering what you meant by yorubas are running the music world or even the entertainment world as a whole in Nigeria,or is it producing corrupt 'oil cartels', so-called Nigerian richest men. When the rest of the free world are looking at the middle class when weighing how rich a people are and of course you know the tribe in Nigeria that are more comfortable through their dexterity and efforts and nt government patronage. Now that the chips are down and the yoruba bubble busted, your people shld desist from false information....To ndigbo in this forum,we must use everything within our reach to put up pressure on the IG of police, until this anomaly is addressed!though some Igbos are already on the case,we must keep the fire burning. |
I was waiting to hear something new, only for me to hear what we already know;(1)we know its a religious struggle (2)we know it was geared towards distabilizing GEJs regime (3)we know that islam encourages jihad against non partakers of the faith (4)we know that there are boko-haram moles in the army(Abubakar Shekau acknowledged this when he implied that those among our military who serves allah in truth, helped out)...in the coming days a lot will be revealed!so let him keep his press briefings to his faithfuls, we already know and we dont care .The Nigerian military must remain resolute and victory is assured,we must step up our efforts in profiling of our security personnels,we must track down first the internal threats, we know the coming days ahead may nt neccessarily be pleasant but even Shekau himself knows his fighting a futile battle! |
..this is exactly why i view APC disdainfully, because this whole drama is just to return power to the North and satisfy some elites and nt for a change that will usher nigeria to its rightful position in the comity of nations..the arrogancy of this northern elements in telling Nigerians how they signed an agreement in their clandestine meeting and allowing GEJ to do one tenure,as if power is their birth-right which they dispense to who ever the deem fit to keep it for them..how many zones where present during the agreement, who nominated the representatives,is it constitutional?if nt,then head to court and lets see how it goes!..all the yrs the power was with north, all you ve been able to do for the North is to create over 15million Almajiris and little wonder bokoharam has unending supply of willing soldiers. |
..Fulani gunmen again!so much of one Nigeria,Nigeria to be or nt to be!The christain minority tribes of the North has so much been suppressed, maimed, disenfranchised, tormented without the good people of this nation standing up for them,if the Hausa Fulani by paradventure get killed, then you will hear AREWA,northern council of elders, northern professionals etc suffocating everywhere with their ranting and i ask,are minority tribes of Northern Nigeria no longer part of the north or are they called one monolithic north only during elections. We must get to the national conference and discuss a lot of burning issues!May the souls of those killed, rest in perfect peace. |
Uyi Iredia: @ bold: I see. Yet you people are yet to have a Nobel laureate: the best chance you had at it was buried in Anambra...ha ha ha!i cant believe am in a forum discussing with 12yrs old, seriously my little niece can do better than this..pls stop mentioning a man who is mourning his beloved daughter whom he may ve lost to the incompetency of your doctors at UBTH and because of the excesses of your past and present leaders!Wole has since out-grown his chauvinistic tribes men and like the highly republican igbos, sees himself as a global citizen..no wonder he travels a lot, mingles with like minds and nt sticking to a hole in Lagos beating his chest,'this is our lagos'.That explains his decision to side his co 'like minds'during the civil war and nt joining genocidal Awolowo and his band of soldiers of fortune! |
Mayor_of_Lagos: The problem all non-Ibo Nigerians have with you is your lack of structure and order, and is genetic! You put a Yoruba person in position of authority and you hardly hear noise or controversy as he/she focuses on delivering service. An Ibo person in position of authority wants to be noticed - work is left undone, projects are approached hapharzadly and with no direction, subordinates are soon frustrated, chaos and scandal everywhere.though i hardly respond to national clowns, your post is only good for comic relief, from your moniker 'mayor of Lagos',it shows a man who have a lot of unfulfilled dreams, born out of hallucination, little minds hardly get over their domestic needs,Mr local champion,i didnt know that Demiji Bankole,Bode Gorge,Musiliu Smith,Tafa Balogun,Tinubu,Gbenga Daniel,Vaginia Eteh,OBj,Fani kayode and all their tribal cohorts who ve contributed greatly in freezing this country when they where in positns of authority are all igbos...like Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and some prominent Northerners observed that, yorubas remains the bane of a stable and a effective Nigeria, due to their genetically built cunny and slippery attitude!!!na ur Hausa Fulani slave-masters talk dis one!!! |
dayokanu: OBJ is now a tribalist. The same OBJ who was voted by Ibos, Had his strongest base in Iboland.your posts usually sounds idiotic,is always devoid of any sense and sounds more like a frustrated fellow with suicidal tendency...so when does appointing igbos as ministers a privelege to ndigbo,i guess you ve nt heard of federal character principle in which every state of the federatn must ve a representative in the Federal cabinet.Btw, the igbo ministers in OBJs regime cld stand out as first eleven in any country, having them to serve a recalcitrant tyrant OBJ was even demeaning to some of us who are sensitive..but for you and your slippery kinsmen,we the igbos ve a 'cultural advantage'over you,we will keep moving from strength to strength,no amount of hatred for igbos will limit them from giant strides!..the holy bible says that 'why we are asleep,God chooses those he wants to bless'!The present Nigerian unjust structure,is even propelling ndigbo to greater achievements,OUR DETRACTORS ARE OUR HELPERS...you shld be wondering that inspite of the economic stagnation imposed by genocidal Awolowo on igbos, today i guess you are a tenant in an igbo man's house in Lagos!no harm intended, just think over it!Olodo |
It is very sad that Nigerians of other ethnic groups feel more relaxed when obvious case of marginalization has been established,as long as its not favouring the Igbos or south-south!...where are all those who petitioned against Gen.Ihejirika,Stella Odua,Ngozi Okonja-Iweala,Deziani Madueke etc...National conference here we come. |
SPECIAL REPORTS Published on Sunday, 29 December 2013 21:45 Written by Elombah.com Tweet Share The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Dahiru Abubakar, is reportedly showcasing his achievements since he assumed office, as IGP. Sources say this is a campaign to solicit for his second term in office. He has the backing of business mogul, Aliko Dangote, an insider with Jonathan, some members of the National Assembly, governors, especially those from the Niger Delta, South East, top politicians, ministers and advisers to the president and others that played the role of advertisers, campaign managers and solicitors to convince the president to reappoint him for a second term. However, Abubakar during his first term as police chief confirmed his reputation as a nepotist tribalist. He shut out the Southern part of the country thus ensuring that the educationally disadvantaged Northern region has more top Officers in all spheres of our government services than highly educated Southern region. Today the imbalance in his appointments ensures there is no Igbo AIGin the police service. Unbalanced favours According to a Daily Sun report, the police chief is known in the service to nurse some good level of intolerance when it is about religion, though sociable. An officer at the Force Headquarters stated that: “Shortly after his appointment and following the opposition over his alleged religious bent and difficulty in tolerating diverse views, especially in the Jos crisis, he sprang a surprise and surrounded himself with Christian officers to prove his critics wrong. But those appointments did not last, as he has since replaced most of them with people of his ethnic and religious affinity.” Biased AIG appointments A good instance cited by the Newspaper report is the “appointment of Assistant Inspectors General (AIGs), where 10 of the 12 are from the North, and all Muslims, but one from Benue State, and a scanty two from the South-South and South-West and none from the South East. These appointments are said to be part of the strategy for the 2015 general elections. With the IG’s right hand men in states considered to be very strategic, the police would determine whom it would work for when the time comes,” our source confided. Some of the prominent appointments include the AIG for Zone 12, Bauchi, Mohammed Gana, from Niger Sate, AIG Zone 1, Kano, Tambari Mohammed from Sokoto State, AIG Zone 5, Benin, Salisu Argungu Hamishu, from Kebbi State, AIG Zone 7, Abuja, Suleiman Abba, from Jigawa State and AIG Zone 9, Umuahia headed by Bala Nasarawa, from Kano State. Others are AIG Zone 10, Sokoto, Sule Mamman, from Katsina State, AIG Zone 3, Yola, Mohammed J. Abubakar, from Kano State, AIG Zone 2, Lagos, Maman Tsafe, from Zamfara State where the IGP comes from, AIG Zone 11, Oshogbo, David Omojola, from Ekiti State, AIG Zone 4, Makurdi, Michael Zuokumor, from Bayelsa state, AIG Zone 8, Lokoja, Christopher Dega, from Benue State and AIG Zone 6, Calabar, Jonathan Johnson, from Taraba State. From the list, Ebonyi and Abia states have no representation and all the states in the South South and South East except Bayelsa are headed by Muslims. The DIGs are Suleiman Dauda Fakai, North West, Atiku Kafur, North West, Emmanuel Udeoji, South East, Peter Gana, North Central, Marvel Akpoyibo, South South, Abdulrahman Akano, North Central, Philemon Leha, North Central. Real bias Where Abubakar played the main bias role seems to be in the appointment of mobile police commanders. Of the 58 command units nationwide, 32 commanders are from the North, and but for three Christians, two from Kaduna and one from Niger, the rest are all Muslims. The three Southern geo-political zones have 26 to share among them. As almost all police commissioners in the Southern states are from the North, so it is with the Mopol commands. A clear glimpse of it is the list we have here. From the North, the police have Mopol 26 Uyo, CSP Mohammed Dankwara, Mopol 14 Yola, Ahmed Garba, Mopol 29 Awka, Mohammed Shehu Dalijan, Mopol 4W, Damaturu, Musa Garba, Mopol 3 Enugu, Mamman Giwa, Mopol 21 Abuja, Ibrahim Sa’ad Muhammad, Mopol 44 FHQS Abuja, Ali Garba Sarbi, Mopol 48 Ahoada, Lawal Sani Mani, Mopol 1 Kaduna, Sagir Ismaila, Mopol 24 Aso Rock Abuja, Dantawaye Miller (a Christian from from Kaduuna State), Mopol 5 Benin Adejo Abdul (Kogi State) Mopol 8 Jos, Haliru Aliyu, Mopol 15 Ilorin, Sunday Audu Peter, another Christian from Kaduna State, Mopol 17 Akure, Yusuf Sani Doki, Mopol 40 Jalingo, A.M. Diri, Mopol 42 Gusau, Abubakar Argungu, Mopol 52 Chalawa Kano, Moses Gana (Christian from Niger State, Mopol 9 Kano, Muhammad Guri, Mopol 11 Calabar, Abdullahi Ibrahim, Mopol 55 Aba, Dankwano Wilson, Christian from Kaduna State, Mopol 7 Sokoto, Danlami Yusuf, Mopol 13 Makurdi, Yusuf Ibrahim, Mopol 25 Azumini, Tijani Albasu, Mopol 4 Ibadan, Shuaibu Danaguni, Mopol 12 Minna, Yahaya Jega, Mopol 16 Abeokuta, Baba Lawan Audu, Mopol 22 Lagos, Abubakar Yakubu, Mopol 27 Katsina, Abubakar Umar, Mopol 32 Abakaliki, Kabir Abdu Randawa, Mopol 34 Gombe, Garba Yaro, Mopol 35 Dutse, Nasiru Ahmed, Mopol 58 Lafia, Abubakar Garba. Commenting on this lopsided appointments Dele Odugbemi stated: "We shall discuss all the injustices and imbalances which are the major causes of insecurity, distrust and disharmony among Nigerian ethnic nationalities at National Conference. How can educationally disadvantaged Northern region has more top Officers in all spheres of our government services than highly educated Southern region? We should forget about religion and focus more on merits which i know the Southern region surpasses Northern region in all academic endeavours. Nigeria should be re-structured on regional governments with full autonomy to all regions to control its resources and contribute same percentage to run Central Government that should have very small cabinet and responsibility to cater for National Police, Nigerian Armed Forces, Immigration Services, Customs Services and Central Bank. Each region must establish its own Regional Police Service which will fully take charge of the security of the region while National Police will deal with high level corruption and other treasonable cases in the nation." www.elombah.com |

....this is truly the Wole Soyinka i use to know, saying it as it is,without being partisan.APC its an illegal recycling company, what they do is simply putting old wine in new bottles, people whose sole interest is always to remain in the corridors of power and playing on the sentiment of the deprived masses, whose conditions were made so by this same leaders in the past...and i ask a simple question, its life any better for ordinary Nigerians living in APC states eg Lagos,Osun,Imo,Sokoto etc...we need changes for good in Nigeria but not the type APC is offering,'all hands must be on deck'to rescue the sinking ship called Nigeria. What we need more now is social re-engineering and value re-orientation and nt the class war being fought by our thieving elites. |
