PLease guys, before any repairs.... lets make it a point of duty to run a scan on our cars before running upamdan to buy pars. Yes i kno your mechanic is a whiz. Yes is good you trust him, but for electrical faults or even any engine performance problem run a scan. Even if you will need to pay please pay and get a scan results. That way you can even do a quick online research about the problems your ECU has noted and follow with your mechanics fixes. Do have a nice day pals... |

orahfrancis: My first car was a Nigerian used VW passat. I used this car for good 4 years without issues.when i solf i bought a used Peugeot 307 that csr drained me i sold and bought another 307 from a retired army. The it revvs just like a brand new. I advice buyers to do all due diligence before buying one.the truth is that some nigerian used cars are as good as new ones. And finally when buying a used car please i repeat buy from a rich man who maintains his cars not from a poor man who cannot eat talk less of maintaining a car. If u know u know. The three used cars i bought proved this right Contrary... if the rich man has a driver that has been servicing with 20w50 rather than 0w20 nko? Vehicle maintenence has nothing to do with financiL status. It is a thing of the mind sir. ITs either you care about your car and take good kia of it or u dnt care as long as d engine starts u r good to go. Some of this big men suffer in the hands of our so called "big" workshops. They pay thousands for servicing, bt the workshop dey service their motor with low oil grade.... u see say nob about how much. |

I take out the inner fuse box inspect the sockets, a lot of them are corroded in green.
I ask for some petrol and an old tooth brush, my Ajebo client no sabi remove small fuel from gen.
I teach him how to tap fuel from the tank using the fuel tank tap.
Back to the car, I dissasemble the fuse box and clean it.
All the corroded connections done I proceed to install the fuse box, coupled the footwell area and started the car And did it start? |

Icon2007: please my Toyota camry 2007 is emitting blue smoke now, I bought it as tokunbo and it was working well since march. though the car still move well and no abnormal noise coming from it. but the blue smoke is really given me concern. kindly suggest how to go about solving it.
thanks Blue smoke is usually associated with engine oil burning in the cylinder. And this could be caused by quite a number of things. 1. Find a competent mechanic 2. Run a deep scan. If it is electrical related you can isolate it. If not den u can focus on mechanical faults. 3. Don't throw parts at the problem. OP pls confirm have you been experiencing oil shortage recently? I believe that engine series are known to consume alot of oil. If Thats d 2AZ engine sha. |

AutoMoTech: Ok dts good. Seen the list. Now lets help u get this fixed.
P0341 has to do with your variable timing control. Things to check/test 1. Timing chain (damaged or stretched). Ensure timing is properly set. MAke sure the cam and crank sensors are properly socketed. Replace if found bad. 2. Remove VTC control solenoid valve. Check if it is clogged and if it is functioning properly. Ensure it is not stuxk close or stuck open. There is a also some sort of a strain that cleans dirt in the oil. Ensure it is clean. And before carrying out this tests, ensure your engine oil properly guaged. Low oil can also throw this code atimes.
For P0135 and P0141 Check your O2 sensor circuit. Both the sensor circuit and the heater circuit. Check the fuse, look for wire that's cut, test the o2 sensor ensure they are working properly. If not replace.
For P0662 and P1078 Kindly look online, there are enough videos that will guide you through the proper diagnosis and fix. Its a ling process so i cant stat typing everything here.
For the ABS codes, check the ABS module. Is it awake? Then check the sensors ensure the wires are not cut open or imoroperly improperly socketed.
Best of luck bro Now lets beg kingreign to allow u bring the car Hehehehehe |
