it all depends on the type of business & the knowledge you have in the business
It's either you are trolling or just uneducated. Someone advised you up there and you still arguing. What the banks or any investor that want to do business with you would want to see is - what if??

Does anyone foresee this pandemic/lockdown?
What if you fall sick, or God forbid die, does the business die? You need to come up with various risks that could come up - govt legislation, weather, competitors, alternatives.

If your business idea is risk free I'm sure someone somewhere is already doing it.. Unless it is a novel idea, new invention.

So stop making up stuff, that will make people see you as a scam or not knowledgeable. If I'm giving you 15mil I want to know what could go wrong.

Well if your business is so good and risk free, just go to the banks/micro finance houses.. They are there for a reason!

CrimeRe: Italian Nurse Strangles Doctor Girlfriend. Says She Infeced Him With Coronavirus by axeman10(m): 8:11am On Apr 02, 2020
The lockdown is affecting people's mental state.
It goes to show humans are social animals.. And a lot of people are locked in with strangers they call partners or spouses.
One thing is we either come out of it stronger with more bonding and love for one another or bust.

I know it is hard for us Nigerians, but if we can just try and control our movements, the virus can't move. It will be one of the greatest tragedy ever if we allow the virus to spread in Naija.

If you have, help your neighbours.. Their living sane and healthy means your health and your family's will be guaranteed to a large extent.

We know the government is non existent, but now is the time for people to be selfless.. And not leave it to medical officers alone.

So it's now a crime to live in a shared apartment. We are 4 Nigerians living in a 4 bedroom Duplex. Everyone has his/her bedroom. I stay in a double bedroom. I said 50-70 euro for groceries..... So Jack Daniels has now become grocery right? I can really see your level of reasoning.

Enjoy your day.
Thank You for admitting it's a shared apartment..that buttresses my point that you are misleading Nigerians.. The fact remains people are depressed as they cannot make as much as they are making if working...but We are all willing to stay home and fight this virus together... Stop deceiving Nigerians that people are happy and living in paradise in the face of this pandemic.

People are losing their loved ones on a daily basis and cannot even attend the funerals.. You are here talking about being happy staying at home..

I won't comment on this thread again. Do have a good day.

It appears who are the one misinforming people. The average rent in Limerick is between 300-500 Euro. You might get more or even less, it depends on the location and amenities of the apartment. Go to rent.ie and check.
Stop lying, this is a shared apartment..and if there are 3-4 bedrooms in that house.. You are talking about €1500-€2,000 with other tenants in the house.. An average person earning 38k - 78k a year with a wife and kids..will not share 2-3bed apartment with other people.

That foreigners share rooms and live like 'isale eko' residents does not mean the locals live like that. People are actually depressed, they can't go out and make money... Stop lying and misleading people... Who in the world live on 50 eur a month as you stated.. Bloody liar.. Money wey no buy one bottle of Jack Daniels.

You my friend are the one misinforming people, OP stated that this an action taken to cussion effect on the lockdown, this is spending money - you dont have to pay mortgage from it, as the govt ensured that you are given mortgage holiday, Creche fees are being paid too. For high earners its peanut; then again most high earners should Ideally have savings to tide them over for 3months.
No, I did not say the govt did not pay residents to cushion the effect of the jobs lost.. I also stated the band of people affected.. Other categories of workers are getting lower say €203 a week.

As I stated, those getting 350 a week will still have to pay their rents/mortgages, electricity & gas bills.. Only that it is deffered and no bank will pressure them to pay. Banks ain't no Santa. These people are actually losing money staying at home.. OP was making it look like they are making money staying home.

See an average rent in Limerick:

Obviously he is living in one room shared apartment for paying €325 a month in Limerick.. And who lives on €32 a week if not a pauper.. When a cup of coffee and muffin at Starbucks go for over €5.. That can't even fill your tummy for breakfast.

My experience in Ireland so far has been trailed with mixed feelings due to the coronavirus. The country is experiencing its worst ever pandemic - with nearly 3000 confirmed cases of the virus and 54 deaths recorded. The government has ordered a lockdown for some months to curb the spread and minimize the effect of the virus in the European country.

The nationwide lockdown has left the country’s public spaces hushed and deserted amid overwhelming public support for extreme measures to control the pandemic. Dublin city and other usually bustling urban centres are now like ghost towns..

In my area in Limerick city, the vast majority of the population appear to be following appeals to stay at home except to buy food, care for vulnerable people, do work deemed essential or briefly exercise.

The government has taken a very good measure to cushion the effect of the pandemic on its residents. Residents whose jobs and businesses closed due to coronavirus are being paid 350 euro PER WEEK. Those enjoying this benefit include Nigerians and other nationalities (both students and workers) who are living in the country. Many Nigerians received their alerts today being Tuesday and were greatly overjoyed.. People are being paid to stay at home and be safe. The payment will go on for 12 weeks...that's 3 months. Just chill at home and get paid.

€350 X N420 (about N147,000) per week.
€1400 X N420 (about 588,000) per month.

Monthly rent is €325 while €50-€70 (depending on your spending capability) can go for groceries for the month. This only happens in civilized countries where the government take good care of their people.
Why do you people like misinforming Nigerians??

The €350 is for those earning between €38k-75k per annum (that is a minimum of €730 per week), whose jobs were affected by the lock down and cannot work from home.. Or business owners who were forced to close their businesses but still have to pay staff.

Surely, you are not getting this money...otherwise you'll be well informed. I live in Dublin and rent is €1000-1500 a month... That money is not even enough to pay mortgage... Stop spewing thrash and misinforming people.
Nigerian government is not doing enough but don't make it look like you are in paradise in Ireland either. No government in the world is father Christmas.

To be honest.. I wanted to attack him innitially, based on the misleading headline.

I am not bothered about all the side talks and comments, but the message he is trying to pass across which is very valid.

All responsible governments and heads of government are virtually addressing their citizens everyday. We are now used to an unresponsive president whose "I don't care body language" creates distrust even amongst his supporters.

All in all...he actually made sense about the government's irresponsible allocation of resources...which more or less is aiding the corruption they are claiming to fight.
PoliticsRe: Work From Home (THE HYPOCRISY) by axeman10(m):
The idiocy of our leaders. They hear people abroad using the term...and next thing they carry the slogan.

In Europe and America, they specifically say work from home if you can... But everyone should stay at home except those running essential services.
Many govt offices are CLOSED in these places.

Whoever is the Head of Service at the state or national level announcing WFH for staff from level 1-10 should cover their faces in shame.
.
Why do you have to lie publicly? Just tell your workers to stay at home and work out modalities where the number of days spent staying at home doing nothing (which you are paying for) will be deducted from their annual vacation over a period of time _ say 5-10 years. It is a sacrifice we all have to pay for.

Thank God you get small sense pass fed govt.. At least you didn't ask them to work from home.

Hand sanitizers should be made compulsory in all buses. The conductors are more at risks to themselves and others..as they are constantly touching money, carrying passengers loads, or even touching passengers.
PoliticsRe: Folasade Yemi-Esan Tells Level 1-12 Civil Servants To Work From Home by axeman10(m): 4:39am On Mar 24, 2020
Bold faced lie...
Just tell them to stay home. People with no regular power supply, laptops nor access to Internet services.. Will their 30k minimum wage, you expect them to work from home?

And most level 1 jobs are to carry files from one office to another.. Or has things changed in govt offices that I don't know?

Just tell them to stay at home...and it forms part of if not all of their paid holidays...depending on how long the lock down lasts. It is just a sacrifice we all have to make.

Be careful who you fight..especially the elderly. Some people are walking dead, HBP, stroke, diabetes etc.. Ordinary arguments could send them to the grave not to talk of physical contact.

Be careful... Don't fight that old mama or papa... Don't even fight your mates..unless you are getting paid as a professional boxer or wrestler.
