U can wear suits, wedding gown, even traditional attire. |
Governor's consent is not a conclusive proof of title to land. It is either you didnt do a proper search/ investigation to confirm the seller's title or the person who sold to the seller simply plans to make trouble just to get some money from you. SOLUTION: consult a lawyer. |
@poster, this is inspiring. You gave a succint summary of Robert Kiyosaki's book "business school' |
A lot depends on what you term to be good business. I started my book retail biz last month with just 4k (i mean four thousand naira) and today i've had a turnover of about 40k (in just one month). I do it parttime cos i have a regular job. As small as it appears, i consider it an impressive start. I realise there are people like me who love books but due to their busy work schedule, they find it difficult to go to bookshops. I source for books of popular authors with interesting titles and take to them during lunch hour(thanks to amazon). The prices are a bit lower than bookshop prices as i do not pay rent. U sell more if u can give concise and interesting description of d content of d books (u need a sharp mouth and a smiling face). I also gave out a free e-book to all customers so i have their email addresses and can inform them of my new collections without going to them. This is just testing d waters. I intend to expand my customer base. Money is important but isn't all there is to starting a biz. U need to identify a need and fill it. |
As soon as I read the story, i phoned my younger sister and narrated what i had read. I begged her to shun all strange contacts on facebook, twitter etc and always give us details of her movement. |
Her husband should have seen it coming. She must have complained many times about d job. He should have encouraged her to leave. |
Pls send me some motivational books. Ayandayo@yahoo.com |
Singing: "me i like my country, i like d land and people, everything e dey for Nigeria. Make we join hands to make Nigeria better" What's with all these restrictions? (reduce your accent, don't google words like fertiliser etc) I tire o. I hate restrictions with a passion, hence i will never contemplate living outside Nigeria. Naija all the way. |

I've noticed that there are lots of repetition in the Nigerian vocabulary and wonder what could be responsible for this. Must we repeat the same words to drive home a message? Examples are: waka waka, follow follow, yanma yanma, sharp sharp, borrow borrow. You can come up with more |
Call hin Jason or Jerome |
Are you a student? Do you want to make some extra cash on the side while studying? You can achieve this by selling books. Yes, I mean books. Being a student, your campus offers you just the right environment to market books by bestselling authors. E.g i. Act like a lady think like a man by Steve Harvey ii. Who moved my cheese by Spencer Johnson iii. Gifted hands by Ben Carson iv. Conspiracy of the Rich by Robert Kiyosaki v. Rich Dad, poor dad by Robert Kiyosaki vi. Why you act the way you do by Tim Lahaye vii. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill viii. Attitude is everything by Keith Harvell ix. How to make friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie x. Think Big by Ben |
@poster, I would like to encourage you. My husband and I lived apart for one year. Shortly after the wedding, I got full schlorship to study abroad which was what we both longed for. Then I found out I was pregnant and that didn't stop us either. I had our baby abroad while studying. We ensured we called and mailed each other daily. Skype really helped too. I was able to secure a better job shortly after my return and I must confess to you that we've never regretted taking that decision. Between, he is a God-fearing man and loves me dearly. Being apart for a while is one of those sacrifices we sometimes have to make to move ahead. |

Eat south african soft chicken. South african (black)women can attest to that. It works |
I intend to sell books (majorly motivational books) at retail level. Kindly suggest bestselling titles and authors. I would appreciate ur comments. |
The magistrate was high-handed. He should have told the orderly to march them out of d premises. |
I had my baby through c/s. I didn't go into labour at all and baby was overdue. Except for the pain i experienced afterwards (the most excruciating was the first walk to d bathroom), i still prefer it to the labour pains that i see other women go through. @poster, from what have heard from other mums, second natural births are usually not as difficult as the first. U have nothing to worry about. |

I know this story. It's in the Nigerian Oxford English Course reader yourangel: I still remember this: THE CLEVER DOVE |
Nice memories! This book had 2A (used for dictation), 2b (used for arithmetic) and 2d (for writing) versions. I hated the 2b version used for arithmetic cos i didn't like arithmetic then. |
Keke napep delivers 2k per day. It costs 370k, registration at park with other papers will cost about 30k. Alternatively, look for a big retail market where pepper is sold, buy 2 grinders give the machines out to some1 u can trust. A grinding machine delivers 1k per day. |
@mods I meant cum laude (with praise) not precipitate laude. Dont twist my words ayandee: @poster, my experience may be of help to you. Seven months after marriage, I got full (all expense paid) scholarship to study for Masters abroad. My husband encouraged me and gave me his full support. However, a month to my departure, I found out I was pregnant. I had my baby while studying and still finished cum laude. I returned when my baby was 4months. I wouldn't have forgiven him if i missed that opportunity. I eventually got a job based on that degree and contribute in no small measure to family finance. I'm happy doing that cos of d sacrifices he'd made. Unless her new workplace prohibits pregnancy in d first year of work, u guys may consider having a baby. That automatically takes her away from the prying eyes of those hawks offshore |
