Please my people help me:

My wife wants to give birth in Canada; we are thinking of stating the state government as our sponsor as I plan to apply for tourism visa with her.

Please is this possible if we have the access.
Biko don't try it. How can you say state government is sponsoring your wife to give birth In Canada. As per what now. How can the govt of a state be sponsoring you for tourism or childbirth. They wont dig it o

Hello house. I submitted my TRv application on the 11th of march and i am still waiting for an update. My international passport expires in november, it was 8months left to expire as at when i applied for the visa. Do you think the short lenght of my passport to expire will be a barrier to my application
Send them a mail. This has taken too long

Am in same situation and my deadline to submit it is on tuesday. I have an appointment with Dr Ayodele, booked through phone before i submitted my application but the secretary have refused to email it to me. I have spent so much on calling them to explain but the secretary insists they dont have an email address. I dont know what to do cry
Why dont you write a letter with the details of the appointment you booked with dr ayodele. Explain that your doctor will not do email correspondence. That your appointment was booked over the phone. Write his name, date and time of the appointment in the letter. You can include his tekephone no should they need to confirm the appointment. Upload this letter in the section of the additional docu they asked for. Shikena

Good afternoon everyone,

Am truly sorry to bother everyone. Am trying to do my visa application myself.

Am somehow confused, please at what point do I add letter of explanation?
I don’t have an invitation letter, what do I upload on that column?
Will appreciate your response, am begging in the name of God.. I attached a photo for clarification.
Thank you
I'm also wonderimg why they are asking you for invitation letter. What did you fill as your purpose of visit in the questionnaire you filled. If you picked visiting, it will require for letter of invitation. If you picked tourism or other, it wont ask you for letter of invitation. So you might want to edit your questionnaire again and fill appropriately

Happy weekend guys, I will be submitting my visa application online by 2nd of june, 2019 and I intend to do my biometric this same week.i booked for flight and suppose to land on 21st of july and return to Nigeria by 31st of july. My question is does my timing covers the required processing time and secondly if the visa processing time exceeds beyond July, would my application still be considered. I need know before I finally submit. Thanks
It does not cover. Appication this days take minimum of 7 to 8 weeks.
As per your second question, yes it will still be considered.

Yes pls, my Visa is for birthing purpose which I used for my first baby in April, 2018. So I'm fee weeks gone now and hoping to use it again before it expires.

DH is applying because I, my toddler and new little one will need him to bring us back home after delivery. Pls note: he's travel history is only the family Dubai trip we went for.
With all this us visa wahala, why dont you land in the us first before your husband attends his inyerview. I just remembered a story here of a lady that said the VO was angry that she used her medical visa to birth two kids insteaf of one. So to be safe and to avoid issues like ones Visa bring cancelled or revoke, let your hubby pick an interview date that you would have already arrived in the US.

Good afternoon all,
I have read from page 1 to 113 but am still little bit confused. Please I need assistance .

1) I applied for USA visa, and my interview appointment is for October 2nd while my EDD is November 25th. I think it’s too close to my due date. Will applying to canada be considered wrong since am still on USA wait list?

2) I intend to be honest with my application. From what I have read here, you need to attach your doctors correspondence while applying , since Canadian doctors don’t give email correspondence, what do I attach?

3) my husband is the sponsor. I hv a bal of 2m in my account, he wants to transfer more money before I print my statements. Will that raise a red flag or I should just upload his statement like that?

4)From what I have read, Ontario is the best option as it’s less expensive. Am I right?

5) how can I find a family doctor to refer me to an gyna? Am only 13 weeks gone.

So sorry for my plenty questions. Please help a sister. @hotstepper(thanks for all u do) @Mamaoo
@ Omobendy..... and other super mamas..
1. No
2. Make up your mind on the dr you will use. Guve him a call and book an appointment. Write down this details in your LOE.
3. Two options. Upload his statement like that and that of urs also. Or let him transfer the money to your account and explain the lodgment in your LOE.
4. I dont know. Seem so
5. There are some drs here that dont require referrsls from family dr. Read a few pages back. Details of their name has bern shared previously from peoples testimony.

Hello everyone.

I'm new on this thread. I'd like to ask if it's not to late to apply for Canadian Medical Tourist visa to have my baby. I'm already 6 months down. Is it not too late or employing the services of an agent be the easy way out. I'd be waiting for your candid opinions. Thank you
I'm not here to burst your bubbles or dampen your spirit but i personally believe it is late. I am talking from my personal experience. Especially if you will be applying for medical visa. That is if you will be declaring yoy are going for childbirth. They will take their time. Maybe a normal TRV wouldnt. Mine took 7 weeks plus before i got a passport request. Stamping of passport os another one week or more. If successful with your application, by the time you are done, you will be getting close to the 40weeks mark. You can however give it a try and jlhope for the best. Worst case scenerio, you travel at 38weeks

Congrats. Would you be so kind as to list documents submitted for the benefit of all?
Bank statement. Both domiciliary and naira acct.
Letter of employemnt for both hubby and i.
Leave letter from my employer
Documents of our landed properties
Pension certificate
Budget sheet. ( our budget sheet showed we were only going to spend half of the total amount we had in our account. )
Flight booking
Hotel booking
Marriage certificate
Itinerary of places hubby will visit
Hospital correspondence
A detailed LOE stating my name, what i do and where i work, purpose of visit, amount made available for the trip, details of hospital and doctor i will be using. Details of how long the three of us intend to stay.

I also wrote a detailed letter addressing the prior refusal.

I think this is about all. Generally, i feel if you will be declaring your intention for childbirth, they want to know you have the finance to cover the cost and any contigencies and they also want to see the plans you have made regarding hospital and doctor who you will be using in canada and the cost.

NB, the embassy later sent a request letter to include a proof of medical insurance to cover my stay in Canada

TravelRe: Giving Birth In Canada by aye88: 4:25pm On Apr 29, 2019
Here is my feedback.

Applied for canada visa in january this year. Hubby, mum and i. Purpose was for tourism. I stated in my LOE that i will be using the visa for childbirth. We jad 5k euros in our dom acct. Visa was denied. Reason base on purpose of visit and financial or personal asset.

Reapplied again in march. Hubby, mum and i. Stated tourism for hubby and mum. Stated others and childbrith for myself. Account balance this time was 10M. I wrote a detailed letter addressing the previous refusal and also wrote a LOE. Included a budget sheet. Hospital correpondence, itinerary of places hubby will visit during his stay. All other documents that we included in the previous application. Visa granted this time.

it's 6mths o. There are two sections when you try scheduling an appointment now. 1. Previously refused in 6mths and 2. Regular. Appointment date will never drop if you choose option 1.

It's stated on the same appt page that one would be denied a visa outrightly for MISREPRESENTATION if you choose regular when you have been previously refused in 6mths.

However, a man I know took the risk and appeared for interview about 3weeks after refusal. He was truthful when asked by V.O. how he got an early date. Told her that he bought the date from an agent though filled his DS-160 himself. He was granted the visa.

Bottomline is, all applications and circumstances are different and he was lucky. Are you willing to take a RISKhuh In my opinion, it's best to wait the 6mths out to avoid stories that touch.
I think you can apply anytime though they usually say 6months. People have reapplied after refuser even when its less than 6montha. I reapplied two weeks after a refusal. I choose the option 1 for the previously refused wthin 6 months and i got a date. Infact i was even able to change the date later myself and got a date the following week. Meaning i was able to schedule another interview 3 weeks after my previous denial. If you feel you have a strong reason to reapply, by all means pls do immediatly

And they said online was faster than paper. To get a medical visa now, you have to apply early. At least before reaching the 30 something weeks mark
