Dating And Meet-up Zone › Re: A New Year Promise To My Beloved Wife. by AZeD1(m): 8:46pm On Jan 02, 2013
xynerise: If someone had told me that you will be my wife today I would have called that person an antelope grin.

These are my new year promises to you.
I will always be there for you. Last year I travelled a lot and I never always had time for u(I mean real time cool). But this year, I will make sure you get the best of company. I started with the little gift I gave u yesterday as a bribe for my misconduct last year and I will bribe u more in subsequent days to come grin. Accept my apology grin. As for Anderson, I promise to be the best daddy in the whole world and not like the simpsons undecided grin. When I come back home today, I will get him nice toys cool. But you (skydeep) deserve the best this year and forever. Your next birthday will be on ovation magazine grin. I never thought a woman like you exist until the day I met you at the supermarket. Seriously, I will visit the owner of that supermarket to give her a hug gift. grin.

Lastly, You will be the boss of the house for one week starting from today grin. The boss of everything including.....you know what I mean grin.

My advice to you guys, I never thought I would find love here but I was wrong. If you believe it, you can achieve it. Happy New year all. Goodluck cool
Bros no dey pour sand for our garri now!!! We know you love wife.

Good one though.

Politics › Re: Jonathan's SURE-P Is A Drain Pipe On Nigeria's Economy by AZeD1(m): 2:16pm On Dec 31, 2012
taharqa: And hw did they increase Overhead? Just #1billion naira was set aside as Recurrent for d programme, while d remaining #275billion was for capital projects. The senators as politicians claimd d Committee usd #2billion to run its programme when d committee went to defend dier 2013 budget, but Kolade and Co later returnd with documents showing they had only spent #200m to set up their secretariat, run it, travels and handle sm of its programme. This was reportd, but d @OP of course 'forgot' to also post that part cos it wont serve his purpose.....
Just 1billion? Is that not money? That money would vastly improve one of the teaching Hospitals in Nigeria.

Is there no ministry or mda already existing that can do what the sure-p committee is doing?
Politics › Re: Jonathan's SURE-P Is A Drain Pipe On Nigeria's Economy by AZeD1(m): 12:50pm On Dec 31, 2012
taharqa: I laugh @OP. He does not undastad a thing about d SURE-P programme. This is d 2nd thread he is opening tday on a programme he has very little clue about. He was burnt very badly on d 1st thread, and then opend anoda thread which has bn brought to FP by d yeye MOD we hv here....VANITY
What is the essence of Sure-P? The Government should be trying to reduce overhead not increase it.

Politics › Re: Fashola Is Not Qualified To Be A Presidential Candidate by AZeD1(m): 8:13pm On Dec 30, 2012
bilms: I have observed that the media propaganda of the Lagos State Governor is still enjoying much relevance, especially on nairaland despite clear failure of his administration.

Many things i read about Fashola on nairaland speak contrary of the reality on ground,a little survey among the masses in your area would speak for itself.

Just within the last two weeks, the Fashola for presidency thing has made it to the front page God knows how many times.

So i ask, what exactly has foshala done to deserve a presidency?

Is it the increment of The Lagos State University fee from 25,000 to 250,000 that made him worth the presidency?
Is it the crazy Lekki toll gate fee, which when protested ordered the protesters crushed?
Is it the promise of demolishing Katangwa market, denying over 30,000 people means of livelihood with a promise of not providing any alternative?
Is it the demolishing and killing of some residence of Makoko Community?
Is it the Ban of Okada without any meaningful steps toward re engagements of the citizens?
If the increment of school fees transforms the school and they produce quality graduates, then it becomes a good. Quality over quantity.
The lekki road is good as at the last time i passed it. obe to dun, owo lopa.
He is not the 1st to ban okada and he won't be the last. Do i support him? Yes, those guys were terrible(I was part of the people who used to enter ikorodu to Ojota).
As for the demolishing, with what happened at Oshodi, we just have to wait and see but the Oshodi record speaks in his favour.

abiL: I think it's silly for grown people to write in text formats. Even when I'm sending a text message, I type my words out in full (it's time consuming, but who cares! grin). I'm not a fan of abbreviations.

I work with some qualified professionals who cannot even write properly, with all their degrees and qualifications.

Years ago I did a voluntary post at a secondary school and it was appalling how some of the kids wrote their essays like they were text messaging their friends.

Oh yeah, people that also write like this 'I waz sLEeping whEn dis woZ...' should be killed mercilessly.
I'm with you on this!!!

Richfella: Some posts here, written in text-speak, make me want to hit my head on the wall. Yikes!
Its truly annoying when adults resort to writing "text speak" on a public forum. I can tolerate bad grammar but "text speak" just makes me write you off as un intelligent and not worth responding to.
Education › Re: Are Smartphones Affecting Our Written And Spoken English Skills? by AZeD1(m): 4:13pm On Dec 29, 2012
You don't blame smart phones for the laziness of humans. No smart phone/phone comes with "text speak".

Sincere 9gerian: Yes na me. The ONE and ONLY sincere 9gerian. I just switched off my refrigerator like 30mins ago because it is over-blocked. It is now precisely 52hrs of constant power, no blink. I'm broadcasting live from Enugu city, also called the Coal City.
This is the same way I'll be beating my chest when the CONSTRUCTION of the 2nd Niger bridge begins next year. Watch Out!
52 hrs of constant light won't "over-block" a fridge. Its either your fridge is faulty or you are just cooking up stories.
