kunlewoye: @ A-Zed; wher did you confirm it? Wld like to know. I was @ my school after waec instructed me to get a letter frm the princpal. The school is in Osun state so the letter was addressed to WAEC Osogbo as that's the regional office under which my school was placed. I still have the letter here with me as I'm in Abj due to work commitments bt will go to waec, Osogbo later in June when I'm about applying to obtain the letter. I hope it won't take forever to obtain the letter as this whole process has made me lie a lot of times to get free time away from work. I'm nt even sure if I'd be referred to Lagos to get the letter. I also intend to use this period to obtain a letter of attestation that can be verified frm my uni. Pls does any1 kno other things I should obtain? I don't want to have to b absent frm work again after this period. Thanks.

I've got someone close who just got a job at waec and after i saw sean001 post, i asked her and she said its true cost is 10k. i'm submitting my application tomorrow so i'm hoping on God.
I'm going for a pre masters.. resumption is 18th of june so i'm even late.

Someone pointed earlier that you can get a letter from waec acknowledging that you are the actual owner of the result and i confirmed it to be true. It costs 10K.

Is it compulsory i submit my waec certificate?(its not included as a document used for admission in my cas.) I intend to submit it with an affidavit cos of the spelling mistake. Just want to get your opinion.

We all moan and complain about the our leaders and politicians but we forget many of them were once part of the "masses". It seems as if we(myself included) complain because we do not have access to the national cake.
So i ask what have you done or are you doing to make Nigeria a better place?


What i have done/doing include.
1)I try not to throw dirt on the street(97% sucsess). Reasons

I live in my area not Fashola so if the gutters are blocked, i suffer the floods during the raining season, i suffer the stench and the diseases caused by dirt on the road in my area.
I also believe if i keep my area clean and tidy there will be no contract for "awon boys" to loot all in the name of cleaning xyz area.

2)I try to obey traffic rules when driving(90% success). Reasons

Traffic affects me and my common man not the government so why cause hardship for others.


What do i plan on doing?
For a start i plan to talk as much sense as possible to my friends on the 2015 elections and let them know that voting someone from your tribe/religion will not help you as i am a xtain from the south-south like GEJ(ps i did not vote for GEJ)and my life did not improve as a result of GEJ presidency.

This looks like a tough task going by the amout of tribalist here on NL but i hope to still do it because i believe if you are not willing to make a change, then don't complain about the status quo. Besides there are so many changes that can be accomplised by sheer will power of the masses.
