Politics › Re: The Dog & The Baboon Will Be Soaked In Blood - Buhari by AZeD1(m): 10:35am On May 15, 2012
koruji: I have more than one suggestion, which will start with a complete restructuring of our federation to make it workable. That is the first and foremost.

You simply cannot build a pyramid upside down, but that is what we are doing in Nigeria. It doesn't matter how skilled the builders are, it will never work. Worse, while sane builders are warning about the necessity to build properly it is the insane, inept, corrupt and down-right clueless builders that will keep volunteering to lead the effort of building an upside-down pyramid.

After we restructure the federation, orienting our pyramid correctly, the number of fraudulent builders will go down significantly. What we must do then is let those who want to lead the effort volunteer themselves - including Buhari.

However, it is not the nomination that matters but the actual decision. We must scrutinize their qualifications and integrity. We would need to stop the "alaiye baba" and "sai Buhari" crap, and figure out what they really have to offer. A case where no presidential candidate can answer us questions such as the Niger Delta or BH without beating around the bush is a shame too bad to bear. A case where a presidential candidate would refuse to attend a debate with other candidates, yet have no problem with debating "singularly" is doubly shameful. These are the reasons why they owe us nothing and deliver zero. We fail to give and hold them to a job requirement.
I'm with you Koruji on this.....I believe if you are not willing to the change something then don't complain about that thing. All we do here is condemn/abuse/praise/asslick but we never talk of how to move forward.
My question to the house(BEAF, Gbawe in particular)what are you guys doing towards ensuring a better 2015 election.
You can go to hell with your Nigeria without Igbos and South South. When did a common Criminal Tinubu become a messiah that can save Nigeria.

Why has all the so-called Progressive Yorubas refused to see the evil in allowing a criminal without decent past like Tinubu dominate the Western Politics?

Over our dead body will Tinubu control a party that will rule Nigeria. Go and write it down, it will never come to pass. Come 2015, we see what happens.

So long as I will never support a clueless GEJ, I must reject a criminal Tinubu.
Dude did you see the word TINUBU in my post?
PointB: Dethrone PDP, and replace it with what exactly? ACN - Tinubu party, or CPC BokoHaram party?
Think again!
You should think again and may be re-read my post. If you don't know what i'm talking about, then ask questions.
Politics › Re: Bola Tinubu And Buhari To Float New Political Party Ahead Of The 2015 Election by AZeD1(m): 12:50pm On May 14, 2012
Long ago, i used to think Nigeria would be better but right now, i know a better Nigeria is a mirrage.
afam4eva: Any Igbo person who supports this merger that will further compount their already inhumane position in this country should go have himself examined. Any power equation that does not include Ndigbo can go to hell. Ndigbo, be wise.
The quoted post above is part of the reason why Nigeria will never be better.

If you plan to vote based on sentiments(religion/tribe e.t.c) take a look at your state. Your governor is from the state yet its not developing(not all states) what makes you think your life will be better if someone from your region becomes president?

@topic
The best way to dethrone pdp IMO is to reform the mindset of the youth.

Beaf, Gbawe, Alh Harem and all what are you doing personally to make 2015 better?

kunlewoye: @ Ustwise,
I am pondering submitting my certificate to waec for correction and going to the uk embassy with an online print-out and a letter from waec stating the dob on the cert is being corrected and that's why I don't have it with me. I just want to avoid the cert being impounded by the ECO
I also have issues with my certificate but my own is wrong spelling(missed an alphabet in my surname, used the short form of my name too) although i have an affidavit i don't know if this will be enough.

Romance › Re: Mother Wants Love Potion Be Used On Her Daughter. by AZeD1(m): 3:43pm On May 09, 2012
domwas2: I visited my girl friend home last weekend, and she wasn’t at home while I called her and she complained she went to church of what I knew she lied, because I later found out she went out with friends.

Moreover, I hangout with her brother in the process I saw her mother whom I told her daughter wasn’t around. Her mother told me she likes me a lot and she will like me to marry she daughter, but her daughter’s eyes is still outside. And that, she (mother) would advise me to try love potion for her daughter if truly I love her because she won’t want me to lose her daughter to bad guys splashing money on her and notwithstanding her ex-husband who is my girl’s husband did same thing to her.( wow I'm surprise )

I really love her and she claimed she loves me too, but her friends are influencing her going to parties and internet friends’ hangout. But since her mother told me about love portion, I am kind of disturbed. Please help me if it’s really a good advice…thanks
Bros i take God beg you no vex but try explain the part wey i bold...

@op the ball is in your court. don't wait on your boyfriend to make a decision. whatever choice you make be sure you are ready to face the consequences. do you want to be a single mother o a brilliant graduate with a career ahead of you? ignore there hypocrites. they have on business with your life. do what is best for you and don't allow a mistake to ruin your future.
Lots of single mothers have brilliant careers and lots of young girls without children are joblessor housewives.

delomos: I actually lunched a parallel campaign in the midst of the subsidy thingy itself -- www.occupy9ja.com & the counterpart twitter hash and names. The idea then was to use the power of social media to push some collective bargaining by the citizens. It turned out after the protest and all, there is more to fixing things than clever looking app/sites, not mention the "God-fathers."

A major huddle that will be crossed here is: can people put their head where their body is (and the obvious problem of is the government information of budget policies open)? Which is the challenge of the aforementioned.
I actually checked out your site during the period. I believe you even started a thread about it.
I also forsee the hurdles you do but i think i have a primitive work around. Taking the FG as case study, We take the budget as it is realeased with the break down e.t.c, we monitor contract awards/spending(MDA) against the announced budget.
Results i forsee
Assuming we start with the 2012 budget, we will have nothing, but starting with the 2013 budget, we should see things that where budgeted for in 2012 and are still budgeted for in 2013....
As for the bolded, I just think an app like this will be useful in 2019 i.e more of a long term thing
If well developed and publicised, more and more people will be interested in the budget/government spending which will make it harder to execute the same project in 2 consecutive years.

SimonAndal: This is my baby, so it's really, really hard letting it out on cyberspace: a 'protean' app, sort of. It basically is an app that reads any format. Eg. Open up the app, load what ever file you have: .jar, .sis, .bar, .apk, .mp4, .pdf, .jpeg, etc. whatever format.
How many billions of lines of code d'ya think that's gonna take?
Just a lot of if....else statements.

delomos: Love this, it can also be extended to make people vote/discuss on issues (perhaps those on the houses) -- a sort of open-governance platform! Brilliant bro!
The subsidy debacle/probe inspired the idea of a budget monotoring app. i started it as a side project but i stopped at the design stage cos other issues came up.

Guitarlife: How old are you? Cos you should have deduced from most of the responses that what the OP is doing is not something to be proud of ir why do you think she herself is trying to stop it? The question from her is not whether to stop it but how to. This should have made you realise that she herself know's she is wrong so stop showing us how hard working your parent's were in raising you but maybe your father too was busy frolicking with people like the poster when he was supposed to have instilled some moral's into your head, Just maybe and that could best explain the reason for your demented reasoning.
Just maybe and that could best explain the reason for your demented reasoning
Reason's below.

How old are you? Cos you should have deduced from most of the responses that what the OP is doing is not something to be proud of

1st Age has nothing to do with wisdom
2nd I guess its in your village that most responses == right answer

why do you think she herself is trying to stop it?

Cos she is getting attached to him. If you had a functioning brain you would have seen that on line 5.

This should have made you realise that she herself know's she is wrong

She never said she was wrong in her post. Stop assumming, only ediots like you do that.
The concept of right/wrong is relative but i know you dumb a55 ediot so are not expected to know that.

stop showing us how hard working your parent's were in raising you

At least you know my parents are hardworking.
It aint my fault two drunkards conspired to conceive you so stop hating.

but maybe your father too was busy frolicking with people like the poster when he was supposed to have instilled some moral's into your head

My father might have been frolicking but he was smart enough to tell me son "life is not in black and white until you are in a person's shoe, don't judge"

He also told me stay away from hypocrites they are the lowest form of scumbags to ever roam the earth.
